13/04/2026: Two kind remarks were made. We had barely finished our aperitif when the frog legs starter arrived. We were very disappointed by the following course, which was nowhere near as good as last year's. Burnt butter and black parsley sauce. Quantity - cooking - in short, not appetizing at all. As for the dessert included in the set menu, a Picardy chocolate fondant... to sum up: a shared disappointment for a bill of around €135.

04/05/2026: Food and ambiance are good, however, the service ia so bad that every time I go I leave frustrated (I’ve been more than 3 times). They take long to serve, bring things incorrectly and you have to keep calling them for the bill. If you go, take that in consideration.

03/05/2026: Overall, a good experience, but different from our memories. We had visited several times about ten years ago and expected to find the same atmosphere… a slight disappointment, the experience has changed. The chilled velouté appetizer was served in a very small portion (really just a tiny bit on the plate), although the waiter quickly rectified the situation! A positive point for the service. The dishes were good, no technical issues, but less memorable than we remembered. A shame, because we were expecting that little "wow" factor that made all the difference back then.

25/03/2026: Like most restaurants on Rue St-Nicolas, this place is truly high-quality and the price-to-quality ratio is very good (€25 per person) including a bottle of wine, two daily specials (set menu with dessert or starter included) + coffee! The place is charming, not very big but very cozy. The service is quick and professional; the owners, Jessica, manage the dining room and her husband Ludovic is in the kitchen, and they make a great team! I recommend it. PS: As with all restaurants on the street, during peak tourist season, I can't guarantee that the service will be as good outside as it is inside when it's busy.

22/03/2026: Recommended by the Château de Brézé, we went and weren't disappointed. The welcome was very friendly, and we were served by Killian, who was smiling and very attentive. Thank you to him! 🤗 As for the meal... What can I say? A real treat. The duck skewer was perfectly cooked, and the desserts were also delicious. All this with an aperitif and starter for less than 40 euros per person. We will definitely return.

18/04/2026: An exceptional stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great professionalism and kindness. The staff is attentive, available, and always ready to help. The room was immaculate: spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The common areas are equally well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is both elegant and welcoming. Special mention goes to the breakfast and the spa, which truly made a difference! The location is ideal, perfect for fully enjoying the region. I highly recommend this hotel, and we will definitely return!

22/04/2026: I only went to the restaurant, where I had octopus as a starter and sweetbreads as a main course. The food was good quality, but the portions were small... lovely terrace in a fairly quiet location and a friendly atmosphere.

09/04/2026: A short one night stay before heading to the start of the Camino Compostela. We arrived late and this was not a problem and reception were happy to welcome us when we arrived. Lovely square to enjoy and a grand turret entrance. Great location for visiting Bayonne. Loved the town and think we’ll be back.

27/04/2026: Having lived in Blois for 7 months, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Del Re, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The welcome was warm, the service attentive and professional, with a genuine desire to please. For starters, an incredible appetizer platter. Then came the main course, and everything was delicious: quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and cuisine prepared with passion. Each dish was carefully crafted, generous, and perfectly executed. You can taste the expertise and love of Italian gastronomy. The setting is simply magnificent, with a superb view of the castle that makes the moment even more special (especially for a date). This is not a tourist trap, especially considering it's right across from the castle: here, you come for quality, authenticity, and the true pleasure of good food. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant in Blois. Bravo to the entire team for this wonderful experience; I will definitely be back!
