15/05/2026: Really great hotel with very affordable prices. The beds are super comfortable and the shower is really great.

12/05/2026: I highly recommend the Campanile Nature Rodez: a quiet, pleasant location surrounded by greenery, comfortable bedding, a very nice room and bathroom, and a good sweet and savory breakfast. My only real regret: no dinner service, only advertised frozen meals. So you have to plan to eat out and drive, even though there are restaurants nearby. A shame, especially when compared to the Campanile in Auch where the food is cooked, good, and the restaurant is always full. Here, in the evening, everything seems a bit empty… What a pity, because the place has enormous potential.

10/05/2026: A very warm welcome at this small restaurant in a hamlet in the southern Ardèche; however, the terrace is truly basic and poorly maintained. For a €37 menu, it deserves a minimum of decor and cleanliness. The set menu is overpriced: three olives upon arrival and a starter that was good but very simple, and a main course that was also good but very simple. In my opinion, the menu is €10 too expensive… The atmosphere is average.

15/05/2026: This review isn't about the food, which is excellent, but about everything else—and unfortunately, it ruins the whole experience. Upon arrival, we were told to leave at a specific time, even though several tables were available. This is quite surprising. During the meal, the pressure was constant: the servers stared at our plates, monitored our progress, and even communicated our progress through their earpieces. On several occasions, this became downright uncomfortable. The most unpleasant aspect was the reaction to our request for a doggy bag. The dish was very good, and I simply wanted to finish it at home. Although the request was granted, we were subjected to inappropriate remarks and a persistent, sarcastic attempt to discourage me from ordering dessert. I did order dessert—and I finished it, much to the disgruntled waiter's surprise :) Another point: some tables, with customers who were clearly wealthier than us, received very different treatment… My review is really about one waiter, whom I absolutely do not recommend and who ruined our service. The location is pleasant, as they're lucky enough to have a beautiful view, but the food is excellent, some of the best I've ever had. However, given the prices and the service, you'll get exactly the same experience at any competing restaurant. We now understand the bad reviews about this establishment.

The staff is very friendly; a special thank you to Romain, the chef, who passionately prepares such great dishes. We had the pleasure of chatting with him, and it was a very enjoyable conversation. Thank you, we highly recommend this restaurant!

19/05/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is that of a village inn, but the food is far superior. It's good, traditional fare, prepared with great care and truly delicious. The value for money is excellent. As is typical in France, you should allow plenty of time. In return, you'll be rewarded with superb service and food. The portions are very generous, and while the set menu is highly recommended, it's nearly impossible to finish.

16/05/2026: It was such a stroke of luck to finally end up at this country inn! Whether it was the stuffed rabbit, the fresh vegetables, or the croquettes – everything was prepared by hand with the highest culinary quality! The soup was amazing... We haven't eaten so well in a long time :-)
