11/06/2026: Wow. What a wonderful dinner we just experienced at this little restaurant. Reservations are a must as even on a Thursday night the restaurant was full and many were turned away. The menu is entirely on a chalk board and changes daily and tonight through the dinner as dishes sold out. I had the most delightful and delicious pork filet minion in a gorgonzola sauce which was likely the best meal I've had in my 3 weeks in France. There is plenty of parking in the town but don't expect to snag a spot in front of the restaurant, which allows you to take a short walk to settle your meal afterwards. Bravo to the chef and staff.

18/05/2026: We had lunch on Saturday at noon, as we were in the area for an event and had chosen this restaurant based on reviews. We were quite disappointed… Tomato coulis with two small balls of mozzarella… very expensive and the mozzarella was bland. The andouillette sausage was hard to digest. The setting was pleasant, but the service was a bit slow. A shame.

22/06/2026: We had a wonderful time celebrating our communion in the reception hall: the meal was excellent, the service perfect, and the venue very pleasant in its setting with the lake nearby (the only thing that bothered us was the excessively high outside temperature of over 30 degrees Celsius for a hall that wasn't air-conditioned, not even with a fan). It should be noted that the restaurant itself is air-conditioned.

15/06/2026: What a great discovery! 🤩 The food and service are of an exceptionally high standard. It is a bit more expensive, but the weekday lunch menu is very affordable. Highly recommended! ✨🍴

31/05/2026: Always an excellent experience. This isn't our first time here, and all the dishes are excellent: pizza, savory crepes, burgers, pasta, and even the gratins. The same goes for the ice cream and crepes (both regular and frozen). The service is super friendly, the food is good, and the prices are very reasonable. A must-try! Don't forget to book ahead, as the restaurant is often full (because it's such a great place!).

05/06/2026: The back terrace was closed, but we were kindly offered a table for two on the small front terrace. Excellent service. Pleasant meal. The appetizer buffet was sure to please those who enjoy charcuterie and crudités. We will gladly return.

14/05/2026: A great find at Le Petit Tonneau, with an unbeatable price: 16 euros for a main course and dessert. Everything is fresh daily (the menu changes every day) and well-presented, without any fuss. The staff is also very pleasant.

19/05/2026: Very disappointed! I had booked a lunch spot with friends, but the daily special was bland and tasteless! One of the desserts wasn't what we ordered. Far too noisy! I won't be going back.

We had a fantastic time; the kebabs were truly excellent, and the atmosphere was very friendly 👍 We had a great time and chatted about the local club with the staff, who were very welcoming—a truly positive experience. 17/05/2026: Bedbugs, cockroaches and noise from outside I do not recommend

05/04/2026: The room and bathroom were tiny. The service was appalling: there was one bed missing from our reservation, and the double bed we had booked was converted into twin beds. This twin bed was then added to the room: a sort of narrow camp bed, and we realized upon returning in the middle of the night that it only had a fitted sheet and a blanket. No top sheet or duvet cover. It was disgusting. The cleaning was poor. The noise from the planes completed the experience. At €100 a night, it's a rip-off.

04/06/2026: Very good, generous portions; the meat was delicious, and the salmon tartare was also fresh. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful. We recommend it 😉

04/06/2026: We spent a romantic weekend in Porquerolles and returned to this establishment, which, despite the change in management, is still just as delicious. High-quality meat, impeccable service, lovely waitresses—we ended the evening chatting and laughing with Didier, the owner, and Arthur over excellent wines. Without a doubt, a must-visit for us.
