02/09/2024: Magical restaurant, rustic inside on 2 floors, nice to sit outside on the little-used Grand'ru. Small map with the Alsatian classics. Starter, a dozen snails with herb butter, tasted very good. Alsatian burger in a pretzel bun with sesame, mustard sauce, fried potatoes and a small salad, the meat patty is a bit dry. The pork knuckle with Munster cheese, spaetzle and salad, very tender and juicy but the rind was not crispy. Dessert: Meringue with cream, vanilla ice cream and raspberry sorbet, quite down-to-earth. But - a visit is worth it.

25/01/2025: Disappointed. Too strong Camembert and almost non-existent cold meats, accompanying green salad more than wilted as if it was out of date, uncooked kidneys for certain pieces and mega compact chocolate mousse. It's not like before. Not to mention the service, with a slow waitress who doesn't even know if the desserts were ordered even though she was the one who took the entire order. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT

21/09/2024: Nous avons un peu trop attendu pour venir car le restaurant est ouvert depuis un an ! Toufik le cuistot est hyper sympathique et cuisine aussi bien que sa gentillesse ! On a pris un coucous boulettes kefta : hyper bon ! Tout le mien au mouton ! Le gâteau maison est top également. Une jolie découverte

23/09/2024: Everything was delicious, quality cuisine. We still got a grimace from the waiter when we told him that we weren't having an aperitif, we would prefer to have the wine directly, so I was cold but the rest was perfect so I recommend.

03/12/2024: venu pour boire un chocolat avec mon bébé je me suis faite refoulé par un voisin arrivé au tempo que je ne connaissais pas super accueil arrangeant souriant et tient la porte ils ont tout compris bravo :)

27/01/2025: For several years, we have wanted to try this restaurant, curious about the concept and to discover the cuisine of chef Richard Baïma. The telephone reception for the reservation was very cold, followed by a cold welcome upon our arrival. We ignore the lack of friendliness, always curious to discover the menu of the day. The wait to get the menu and then the service between each course was very long… Despite the care taken in the selection of fresh, high-quality products, and the commitment of the friendly chef, the cuisine is sorely lacking in flavors and colors. The description given on the restaurant's website suggested a positive experience and consistent with the reviews consulted on Google. Unfortunately, we will only remember the deep disappointment of this culinary experience which was far from being up to the price charged.

26/01/2025: I have been to this establishment several times and have never had a bad experience. However, during my last visit (dating from yesterday) something happened that forced me to put a review and not come back. Indeed, this time I chose a chocolate crepe (which I had never tasted here before) and I didn't know that it was dark chocolate. It wasn't specified and I didn't ask for it either so when I received it and tasted it, I didn't like it at all. So, I left the rest of the crepe but I still paid for it before leaving without asking anything. However, without complaining or anything like that, the waiter came to ask if there had been a problem. So I replied that I simply didn't like this chocolate but that beyond that there was no problem. Except that the waiter, not at all friendly, seemed annoyed and left, stammering a few words that seemed to be unpleasant so as not to mention them...I understand that it's unpleasant to throw away food but I had already paid for it and I didn't complain. And to put the icing on the cake, the person I was accompanied by found a hair in his crepe so after a while the roles should not be reversed as if the customers had to satisfy the waiters. I still want to say that it was only the server and not the other employees at the counter. Moreover, I had already noticed at the beginning how the waiter presented a rather questionable or even simply unpleasant attitude. In fact, when I came home (I was accompanied by another person) he was not welcoming at all: no hello or polite words. It seemed more like he didn't want to work and that really had an impact on the customers. Because in fact he wasn't just unsympathetic to me. When a lady with a baby arrived and asked for a table, he seemed to be stuffed but still pointed out where she could sit. The lady, for some reason, did not immediately go to the table but when she did the young man immediately frowned and made an unpleasant expression. However, it is true that the setting of the retro-style place is rather pleasant and that the teas as well as the savory pancakes are excellent. It's really a shame that the waiter's attitude ruined my experience by complaining instead of offering service as would have been appropriate. Shame on him.

09/09/2024: Pretty refuge, located at the top of the chairlift. A beautiful terrace with a view of the valley. Fairly large rooms with single bunk beds. A drying room. Only downside: only one shower and one sink for the entire gîte 😓

15/12/2024: Little brunch with friends for my husband's birthday. Magnificent moment. The choice of food is top notch. Everyone found what they were looking for (oysters, whelks, raclette, savory tart, lost brioche…. In short, the total. The team is super friendly. We will come back with pleasure.
