16/07/2026: Dining at Re-Confort was simply marvellous. We had the dish of the day: fried aubergines à la Bolognese, served with courgettes sliced as thin as tagliatelle and dressed with a lemon vinaigrette. Highly recommended!

17/11/2025: Medieval cuisine is certainly different from what we're used to eating today. Some dishes might, at first glance, seem a little bland, or at least not the kind of thing that would immediately make our mouths water, because our 21st-century palates are accustomed to tastes that are too sweet, too fatty, or too salty (clearly not the best for our health!). However, the kitchen team rose to this challenge brilliantly: each dish was perfectly seasoned, fragrant, and truly delicious. This made the culinary experience even more successful. The experience is further enhanced by the entertainment offered throughout the meal, as well as by the choice of costumes at the beginning, which immediately immerses us in the medieval atmosphere. We also greatly appreciated the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant, with only one seating at lunchtime: no constant coming and going, allowing us to fully enjoy the moment. A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend! Until next time!

22/07/2026: I ordered a Margherita pizza, which was listed on the menu as having tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil. Instead, I was served a pizza that looked like a simple frozen pizza, without a single basil leaf. When I pointed out the mistake to the waiter, showing him that basil was clearly listed on the menu, he told me they simply didn't offer it. So, the menu doesn't match the products served. Faced with this situation, I asked to return the pizza, which I hadn't even touched. The establishment categorically refused, with the only response being: "That's just how it is." No gesture of goodwill, no apology, no effort to resolve the problem. At this rate, in the near future, you might be serving pizzas without tomato sauce or cheese, and still calling them Margheritas. I am therefore leaving a bad review, since with you, the answer to everything seems to be: "That's just the way it is."

21/07/2026: The waitress was very friendly, but all the other men, especially the loud one (I think he was the manager), were very pushy and rude. He repeatedly pressured us to order drinks, banged on our seats at least 12 times, and touched us to push us... no hello or goodbye: just quick drinks and payment. Avoid at all costs! The toilets were disastrous, and it was very noisy. Worst bar experience in Paris.

02/07/2026: I would recommend this place for a sweet treat with a view over the cathedral. The basque cheesecake was well done, less cheesy than some, more on the sweet side, but very pleasant! The cherry basque cake was very good. They also have a good variety of coffee, though I must say that the soy milk they used was not the best. The service was a bit slow, but not excessively so.

20/07/2026: An excellent restaurant in a peaceful, green setting. We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed delicious cuisine prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The portions were generous and beautifully presented, and the service was both attentive and efficient. A wonderful culinary stop to enjoy before or after visiting the abbey!

02/08/2026: After booking for 8 people at this restaurant for 12:30 pm, we arrived on time. First disappointment: while your website stated you offered mussels and fries, this was only available in the evening, which wasn't specified! We opted for the steak tartare, but there was only enough for one person... Second disappointment! So, we ordered the lunch special, but it was also sold out! Some of us took the ribeye steak (which is significantly more expensive) and others the "ever-present" burger! We were very disappointed with this restaurant, even though the waitress was friendly! Another minor complaint was the waiter who had long hair and a thick, long beard (this isn't very well-groomed, especially when serving). In short, we didn't find it very pleasant!
