07/04/2026: When I travel with my kids, I definitely care about the hotel itself but I pay just as much attention to the area around it. Being close to main attractions and having easy access to shopping and good food makes the whole trip way more enjoyable. I put a lot of thought into choosing this hotel, and it really paid off. Everything was super convenient, and we didn’t have to go far for meals or a bit of shopping, which made traveling with kids so much easier and more relaxed. We stayed around Christmas, and one of the cutest touches was a little mailbox in the lobby for letters to Santa. The kids were so excited to drop off their letters, it was such a sweet moment and made the whole stay feel extra special🎅🏻💌

07/04/2026: We were there for Easter brunch. It was a wonderful experience. The dishes were refined, the service was exemplary, and everyone was very friendly. We felt wonderful. I recommend it to everyone. Located in the heart of Paris.

09/05/2026: I had the pleasure of having lunch at the recently reopened restaurant (under new management) and I had a wonderful time. The three-course lunch menu plus amuse-bouche for 35 euros was excellent, very good value for money. The welcome was perfect and the setting absolutely magnificent. Kudos to the new management, the new chef who comes from Mayotte, and the very friendly waiter. I missed the Camandoule of 10-20 years ago. It's back and I'll be returning soon, this time for dinner.

10/11/2025: I went to eat French cuisine prepared by a Japanese chef. I was extremely satisfied with the atmosphere of the restaurant, the service and explanations of the dishes by the staff, the wide selection of wines, and the taste of the food itself. The specialty croquettes, scallops, monkfish meunière, and Iberian pork were all excellent. It's a restaurant I'd like to visit again.

30/10/2025: Wonderful, cosy ambience, relaxing atmosphere with great music, very attentive service and the starter, fish, bread and desserts were done well. Amuse bouche and beef could have been better.

09/04/2026: Disappointing, because it wasn't a class but a pastry "demonstration": participants watched the pastry chef make the cakes but didn't get to do any of the baking themselves. And the recipes weren't even provided; you had to take notes. As a result, once you got home, it was very difficult to recreate the recipes. For me, despite taking copious notes and some photos, it was a complete failure! Furthermore, contrary to the promises made during the class, I received no response to my questions sent via email after the session.

31/03/2026: A very nice, very quiet hotel. Excellent welcome. A very good dinner with efficient service. The caravan is beautiful, the bedding is very comfortable, and we didn't hear a thing during the night.

17/03/2026: We had a wonderful night at the Hôtel du Relais during a getaway to the Drôme region with my partner. The building is magnificent, and the grounds are very welcoming as well. We stayed in a gypsy caravan for a unique experience, and it offered all the usual comforts of a standard room, while still feeling like we were in our own little haven. We loved it. We also dined at the hotel restaurant, which is excellent. The menu offers exceptional value for money, and the service is equally attentive. Finally, breakfast confirmed our impressions; the buffet has everything you could want, and you can even order freshly baked eggs! In short, we have very fond memories of our stay in Hauterives, the Hôtel du Relais, and of course, the Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval! Thank you

17/04/2026: We came for lunch, but there was a mistake with the sauce that came with our dish. Nothing serious so far, we pointed it out to another server, but we waited over 15 minutes... and if we hadn't asked another waitress, we would have waited much longer... we had to send the plate back because the meat was cold. Thanks anyway to the waitress (who had been taking care of us from the start) for her quick response to our problem, and to the kitchen for remaking the plate! It's annoying to eat something that's too late and cold...

25/02/2026: Free parking right next door. Cozy room with bathroom and a nice breakfast – we'll be back!
