04/06/2026: For a group meal of about thirty people... everything was truly excellent! Refined cuisine, beautifully presented and generous portions. The welcome was very friendly. Everyone was delighted. A very good place to eat.

07/04/2026: A small restaurant we stumbled upon in November 2025, run by a couple and their daughters who help out. It's a shame they were out of mussels in the evening, as we had come specifically for them... But we tried the bull stew (gardiane de taureau) instead: a real treat! The customers were chatting amicably, and there were many regulars who came back every year. A lovely little restaurant. We'll be back this summer with our children to try the fish specialty that some customers had raved about... but this time we'll make a reservation to be sure of getting mussels, or we'll come for lunch. 26/05/2026: A restaurant with a covered terrace, and even an open one in summer, located on a quiet side street. The savory buckwheat galettes are crispy and perfectly balanced, and the sweet crepes are fragrant and delicious. The staff is charming and attentive; you're always greeted with a smile!

14/06/2026: A truly fantastic restaurant. Stylishly and individually decorated. Excellent service. Very good food, great wines. Creative and modern interpretations of classic dishes. A great alternative to the classic fish restaurants in the area. Reservations are a must!

11/06/2026: Discovered this cocktail bar, drawn in by its selection of gins... the menu boasted original creations. In reality, they were more like mocktails sold at cocktail prices. They had absolutely no effect on me, and I'm normally very sensitive to strong drinks. The same was true for my friend. We paid and left disappointed! To be fair, the service was efficient and pleasant... but that doesn't make up for the weak cocktails, especially considering the price.

21/05/2026: A wide selection of cocktails (for €12-13) and gin, all in an intimate atmosphere. Everything is carefully considered: the menu as well as the decor. A small terrace on the cobblestones of Old Lyon adds to the charm of the place. La Cigale is a wonderful spot for a drink!

17/05/2026: We arrived and waited almost 15 minutes without anyone approaching us to ask anything! And there was hardly anyone there! We got up and left. I'm never going back.

17/04/2026: We had a very pleasant time at the crêperie, Histoire de... The service was excellent: Célia guided us towards the Breton specialties made in Brindas! We highly recommend this establishment!

However, the crêpes on offer deviate significantly from Breton standards, both in their ingredients and their overall style. A nice place, but one that might disappoint those looking for a truly authentic Breton crêperie.

17/04/2026: Overall, I'd give it a 1/2 out of 10. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly, but many of them kept slipping and dropping plates and water bottles, which was hilarious as it startled me while I was eating. The fries were so plentiful I almost felt dizzy, but they were great and very satisfying.

30/05/2026: Nice local food, nice decoration, attentive service, one of the waiters - Erik - paid a lot of attention to bring everything we asked for quickly and also gave advices how to enjoy next some of their foods. Recommended.

25/06/2026: A wonderful little restaurant run by passionate chefs, serving authentic local cuisine. Let yourself be surprised by the original dishes, explained by the owner, which change weekly. Enjoy the lovely, quiet, tree-lined interior terrace (at the back), richly decorated with a theme reminiscent of the old henhouse this place was in the last century. Alsatians on the move

23/06/2026: Absolutely top-notch! Thierry, the owner, is fantastic, a real character. Arrived at 1:30 pm and left at 6:00 pm. We were offered a wonderful menu, a real treat for everyone. The aioli was a bit too garlicky for my stomach, but the after-dinner drink took care of that. If you're offering a little more, Thierry, we'll gladly come back. Finally, the setting is peaceful and very shady. A great place.

31/05/2026: A charming little brasserie that felt local not touristy. Laid back, tucked away from the busy centre and we dined in the lovely outdoor courtyard. The food was excellent, lots of regional dishes to try, and the home made chips were some of the best I’ve had. The crème brûlée was life changing. Great wine, a lovely friendly waitress, warm atmosphere. The sort of hidden gem you hope to stumble across when travelling. Would love to come back and try the rest of their menu.

18/05/2026: We stopped at this restaurant because all the other restaurants on the beach were full. We were able to enjoy a meal on the terrace. The service was a little slow, but we had been warned beforehand. The portions were quite generous and very good.

18/05/2026: Restaurant with a shaded terrace on a medieval-style square in the heart of Martel. The service is excellent and friendly, as is the food; I highly recommend it.
