27/09/2024: Uitstekend gegeten waarbij je veel waarde voor je geld krijgt. Royale porties zeker voor een Michelin restaurant. Goede locale wijnen voor een betaalbare prijs. Een niet te missen keuze aan veelal locale kazen. Bijzonder plezierig was dat ook de hond welkom was in het restaurant. Minpuntje dat aan het einde van ons bezoek het personeel ons bijzonder lang liet wachten op ons dessert. Ondanks dat, is dit restaurant beslist aanbevelenswaardig.

01/10/2024: I went for lunch with my wife and asked for the degustation menu. The experience was bellow expectation for the price charged. The service was friendly but slow. The time between two plates was above 30 mins. The food was good and the desert was something else. The best desert we had in Paris so far.

30/09/2024: Chez Edgar, concept original où l’on vous propose 5 plats. Étant plutôt exigeante, je peux vous dire que c’était très bon! Les 2 entrées le plat et le dessert excellents ( juste le fromage pas à mon goût 😅). Vous ne ressortirez jamais avec la faim! Le personnel est parfait et le lieu magnifique. A privilégier une table en extérieur bien sûr en été. Merci à l’équipe de « Chez Edgard ».

28/09/2024: Au top! Une équipe de professionnels qui sait exactement quoi faire pour ravir le client. Un patron à l’hospitalité sans faille ! Un cadre et une cuisine magnifique !!! Un incontournable de la balagne!!! Merci pour tout et un grand bravo à votre affaire familiale où il n’y a rien à reprocher ! Le cochon de lait à la broche était dingue ! La soupe, le gratin de pommes de terre, les desserts…enfin tout était à tomber !!!

Words will certainly be difficult to express our satisfaction with this establishment, but I will still try to convey it. We have already returned there 4 times in one week, which is already a good sign, even a very good one. Let's take it step by step, first you will land in a bucolic, almost magical setting in the heart of the mountain, in a small village typical of the Basque country, with its quiet little streets and its beautiful red and white houses. From the terrace, a reassuring, soothing view, the impression of being in the heart of nature, breathing the fresh air of a delicious moment of relaxation and calm. Secondly, the welcome… well… the word Perfect will I think be used a lot in this comment. A welcome as we like them, a smile, a joie de vivre, a sense of service and “to please” which almost makes you want to work with the team. Always the right word, a clear and clear explanation of the menu, a sharing of the restaurant's values ​​such as the proximity of the products, a cheese that comes from barely 5 minutes away, like the jam, a sharing of Basque culture and typical products highlighted. Let’s get to the heart of the matter with what we tasted. Once again, I have no words other than perfect to write. We literally had a blast every time we went there. Our special mentions go to the hake dish and polenta, the Tahitian vanilla crème brûlée and finally, the famous tiramisu with cherry jam. Everything is delicious, homemade, quality, I told you… perfect! I had to take the time to carefully write this well-deserved comment, I do not regret it and would even like to say even more. We would therefore like to thank you very sincerely for contributing to a perfect vacation with these little moments of happiness and pleasure. 17/09/2024: I was very well received and my stay went by very quickly, which is a good sign. A haven of peace by the river, perfect for recharging your batteries, the furniture and decoration are superb, you feel good there!

A special mention for Ahmed the waiter who gave everything so that we could have a large table together and to give us a great evening! It’s a really nice place, where we are made to feel very welcome, the prices are reasonable, the food is really good, everyone really had a great time. Thank you thank you thank you! 21/07/2024: J y suis allee pour dejeuner. C était un buffet " prestige", qui n avait rien de prestigieux sauf le saumon fume. Bien decu, car ce n etait pas donne. A part cela,le service etait bien.
