08/02/2026: A superb restaurant with a tremendous variety of cuisine . Yes they do all the traditional ( and they do it well ) but they do amazing meat , fish and other dishes too . First class service . Make sure you book in advance .

08/02/2026: A culinary experience worthy of the €52 menu. Beautiful presentation, and the tastes and flavors were of high quality. Disappointment with the wine pairing; a glass costing €9 when a bottle retails for €11 is definitely something to be proud of. Too much eccentricity for my taste. The setting is very pleasant and the decor is lovely.

31/01/2026: Worth discovering! Setting The owners are a super friendly and welcoming couple. Good food and wood-fired grills. When the weather's nice... the terrace and enclosed courtyard are fantastic. I highly recommend it; you don't need to go far for a great evening.

01/02/2026: Excellent first visit! A very warm welcome from Sébastien. The small dining room has a friendly, family-oriented, and intimate atmosphere. The food is delicious, served by a smiling and efficient waitress. As for Loic Marquet and David Buniak, they are extraordinary; we had a great laugh. In short, an excellent evening; I recommend this place without hesitation! Moreover, the quality/price ratio is perfect. I will be back.

11/02/2026: We came twice, three days apart. Once as a couple for a magical evening, and a second time with friends (sorry again for the lack of entertainment!). We absolutely loved the delicate, sophisticated dishes that were still incredibly delicious. The local and garden produce is subtly showcased, and each bite is an explosion of flavor. And what can I say about the absolutely divine wine list! From champagne to house digestifs, including excellent wines from up-and-coming small producers, we savored the perfect pairings. Romain and Anaïs are very attentive and readily chat with their guests. It's an experience we'll definitely repeat!

09/02/2026: We went to Saint Jean to celebrate my partner's birthday... The reviews were very good, and the presentation on the website appealed to me (local dishes featuring seasonal produce, in particular)... My partner and I were captivated... The food is excellent, the tables are spaced far apart, making for an intimate dining experience, and the service is also very good... In my opinion, the value for money is unbeatable... There's no need to go to more upscale restaurants; everything is there, but with less of the "bling" that I usually dislike... You feel very welcome. You can sense the passion for customer service with genuine sincerity! See you soon!

22/11/2025: A wonderful experience! We come from Bordeaux to enjoy a lovely evening on Saturdays. The family team is incredibly kind, and we always take the time to chat about the attractions of southern Gironde… The meals are delicious, meticulously prepared, everything is perfect and carefully executed. A great place to share with everyone, located on a beautiful square in the center of Bazas, near a stunning cathedral.

15/02/2026: After a perfectly prepared ti' punch and appetizers, I ordered half a dozen fresh Legris oysters from Saint Cava (in my opinion, the best in the world), followed by red mullet fillet in a saffron sauce, then monkfish medallions with winter vegetables. I finished with a Pavlova with kiwi sauce. The setting was lovely, the dining room decorated for Valentine's Day. Our waiter was very friendly and professional, truly excellent service. And all this for under €150 for two. Our only regret was not being able to enjoy the magnificent seafood platter, unlike our neighbors at the next table. This will only encourage us to return, and we're so glad we did; we were truly impressed by their expertise in preparing and cooking their fish.

11/02/2026: Once again, everything was perfect! The red mullet and monkfish were succulent, the portions were generous and beautifully presented—a true delight for the taste buds. And what can I say about the service! Absolutely lovely, but that's no surprise; it's always like that every time we come! Please don't change a thing!

31/01/2026: I don't even want to rate this restaurant. The servers are excellent, no complaints there, but the problem lies with the manager when it comes time to pay. He charged us for three bottles instead of one. We came back two minutes later, having realized the mistake. He knew perfectly well that there was an extra €44 on a bill of approximately €180, since he mentioned it himself before pulling out a calculator and pretending to recalculate in front of us. Frankly, I don't recommend this restaurant.

02/01/2026: A very pleasant and beautifully decorated restaurant. We enjoyed everything, especially the food; we practically licked our plates clean! Family of 4, including 2 teenagers.

30/12/2025: Excellent value for money 🤗 The portions were very generous! Warm welcome and quick service, although the restaurant's exterior made me a little hesitant 😂 It might be the going rate for the area, but still, the €19 set menu (starter, main course, dessert, and drink) is a steal! 😂😹

31/01/2026: Average experience at Le Crocodile! Simple but effective main course and unlimited dessert, certainly, but lacking in flavor. Friendly and lively atmosphere. The price-quality ratio is there at €26 for unlimited drinks, main course, and dessert. Recommended if you want quick service and if you eat a lot!

17/02/2026: This restaurant is straight from a story book. Cozy, quaint and run by a husband and wife. The food was all home cooked and sourced from the market. Spectacular to say the least. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Lyon.

16/02/2026: My wife and I loved the warm welcome we received from the manager of this small, two-story restaurant. Downstairs, a few tables in a former cellar with a vaulted ceiling allowed us to enjoy wonderful dishes made with local produce. A real treat! It just goes to show that the size of the restaurant doesn't guarantee the quality of the food. A wonderful experience that we will be delighted to revisit on our next trip to Lyon.
