25/10/2025: I've visited the Marquine farmhouse inn several times. A rustic place with a strong Landes feel, and more specifically, Chalosse. It offers a warm, even friendly welcome. The dishes offered are almost all farm-fresh. Cooked and served with love and the spirit of the land. Which includes, among others: Garbure Landaise, a rustic vegetable and duck confit soup, Foie gras, confit gizzard, and smoked duck breast make up the Landes salad. Unbeatable prices for value for money. (Producer to consumer). Parking is available in the farmyard. A drawback for people with reduced mobility: access to the inn and restrooms is not easy. The inn is located near Mugron, a quiet and peaceful place with very easy access. This village, nicknamed "the belvedere of Chalosse" due to its altitude, offers breathtaking views of the region. In Mugron, a cinema shows mainstream and art-house films. Nearby: Kiwi plantations, with the possibility of direct sales to consumers. The Abbey of Notre-Dame de Maylis has been an Olivetan Benedictine abbey since August 30, 1948. It is located in Maylis (10 km from Mugron). Gregorian chants are sung by the abbey's monks during services. The Chalosse Museum in Montfort presents a typical 19th-century farm estate (10 km from Mugron). In addition, Numerous traditional festivals take place in the surrounding area from April to October.

10/09/2025: A real local restaurant with locals!! who come to share music, dancing and good humor. The dishes are very good, very friendly staff, a singer-cook who is a fan of Christophe and his Aline 😅 Finding yourself following the caterpillar in a small street in Calvi is a great atmosphere 😊😊

18/11/2024: Cela a mal commencé, 5 minutes de retard, montre en mains et nous avons été accueilli comme des chiens dans un jeu de quille : «  si d autres clients arrivaient je leur aurais donné la table » ça commençait bien ! J avoue que la façon de faire du serveur est plus que douteuse, et il y a la manière de le dire ! Heureusement que les plats sont très bons et que le vin est à la hauteur , cela rattrape la chose…. Pour les sanitaires une mauvaise note, ils sont limités et dans leur jus avec une corbeille à papier déjà pleine à 12h30 …. J avoue ne pas savoir si on peut le conseiller ou pas …..

09/11/2024: Plats de poissons copieux et savoureux, peu de couverts, restaurant typique cuisine basque et espagnole avec tables rapprochées dans espace restreint, le patron est jovial et commerçant principes ,c’est une très bonne adresse mais si vous voulez une paella il faut la commander 24 h à l’avance ! Éviter le vin au verre de base

26/11/2024: A very good time in this restaurant! The starter (rabbit terrine/foie gras) was a little difficult to appreciate in terms of consistency, but the main course and dessert were absolutely perfect. The flavors were refined, and the service very professional. A beautiful address that I recommend, despite this small detail.

12/12/2025: I discovered this restaurant by chance at the end of the Poncelet market. A wonderful find!! Excellent value for money! I'm delighted and will gladly return!

05/01/2026: We went there three times. The first time was perfect, but the second time, we were forgotten, and after waiting over an hour between the appetizer and the main course, we left. The owner didn't even apologize and left everything to his very nice waiter (who no longer works there). Not wanting to end on a bad note, we went back on Saturday. There were three waiters for a small dining room, so that was fine. After taking our order, they brought me our appetizer before our drinks! Then they said, "Sorry, I'll bring you the drinks. Let me know when I'm reheating your appetizer so I can bring it back." Seriously? What kind of place is this? The rest of the meal was okay, but perhaps they need to find proper waiters and improve communication between the front of house and the kitchen. The food is good, though; it's a shame. This will be our last time, and I don't recommend this restaurant due to its lack of professionalism and attention to detail.

08/11/2025: A delightful surprise and a wonderful introduction to Burgundian cuisine for a Breton. Pleasant setting. A restaurant steeped in history. Exceptional value for money. Generous portions.

14/09/2025: For my son's wedding, we were welcomed by a very kind and courteous gentleman. He brought two chairs for the grandparents while they waited for the bride and groom to arrive. Then the wedding was very well organized by all the service providers, all very attentive to the guests. It was a magnificent moment in a sublime setting.

04/12/2024: Good restaurant, nice view, good cuisine however not all the products are French too bad. Plus the tables stick together like in a bistro. Well, a little expensive...you pay for the view.

20/06/2024: Formerly Yanis, a decent sandwich shop with excellent service. Packed at lunchtime because of the nearby school. Good value for money.

12/12/2025: A family meal shared to celebrate a birthday. Excellent meal, creative cuisine respecting the region's autumn and winter traditions. Game and mushrooms. A fine wine list. We all thoroughly enjoyed the €100 set menu. Everyone appreciated the meal and the atmosphere. Thank you to the entire team for this wonderful experience.

03/12/2025: Really disappointed. All the dishes were straight from the freezer and barely warmed up. The service needs improvement; the staff wasn't very friendly, even though we were the only ones in the restaurant.
