02/03/2026: We tried La Reine Jeanne and it's a very, very good restaurant. The rib steak is excellent, as is the bone marrow, truly delicious. The portions are generous and live up to expectations. The service is quick and efficient, which is much appreciated. We were lucky enough to eat in the veranda, with an incredible view of the Alpilles mountains—a real bonus that makes the experience even better. However, a little tip: be sure to ask on the phone if there are still tables available in the veranda. Because if you end up inside, some tables are located near the restrooms, without windows, and the atmosphere is inevitably much less pleasant. You go from a magnificent view of the Alpilles… to a much more ordinary setting. Despite this minor point, it remains a very good restaurant that we highly recommend.

02/03/2026: We came to this restaurant for lunch; it was quite good, but the risotto arrived cold, and my friend was still hungry afterward, as there wasn't much of it. The mussels in cream sauce were rather good, but I think the cook dropped the salt shaker 😊. Otherwise, a very nice view and a pleasant restaurant.

23/02/2026: We had dinner at Chez Carmen with a couple of friends who are regulars and had a wonderful time. The servers are fantastic and the food is delicious. From the appetizer to the after-dinner drink, the meal was a series of delightful surprises. It had been a long time since I'd enjoyed a restaurant meal so much, so a big THANK YOU to the entire team at Chez Carmen! Etienne and Julia, just passing through Toulouse and now back in Normandy

07/03/2026: Homemade food. Bistro atmosphere. The dining rooms (ground floor and upstairs) are quite small and a bit noisy. Service is fairly quick. Good value for money.

04/03/2026: This place is very near the port of the Bateaux-Mouches boats. We ate here after we took a trip on the Seine. We had bad weather the whole day and we were quite tired. So in the end of the day we were glad to be able to sit here and enjoy the food and hospitality. The waitress was very kind and made jokes with the kids. We had a nice cosy table in the lower part. The food was excellent too. i had the grilled camembert and the flank steak. My wife and son had the onion soup. The soup was really good especially after a day in the rain, real french onion soup with grilled cheese on top. If you want a nice place to sit and enjoy real french cuisine after a tour on the Seine I would recommend this restaurant.

18/10/2025: A quick lunch at the end of the service. And despite that, an excellent, very generous gourmet salad, and the waitress, alone, was brilliant and very kind. I recommend it; it has a magnificent terrace overlooking the Tarn.

30/09/2025: Hiking around the Causse Méjean in a group, we spent the night in Alex's hotel restaurant on the banks of the Tarn. In the guesthouse we ate the unmissable Aligo sausage in the evening. We received a perfect welcome from Alex and we are returning with great pleasure.

09/02/2026: From the initial phone call to make the reservation and let us know we had a show and needed to be out by 8:10 pm, to the final payment, everything was perfect: the welcome we received when we made the reservation and in the restaurant, the service, and the meal. Thank you to the entire team for being so accommodating to our tight schedule.

03/02/2026: We were at the polyclinic right next door. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. And we have absolutely no regrets! The staff is incredibly friendly. The setting is lovely. And whether we ordered à la carte or the daily special, it was absolutely delicious! A great place to remember. Unpretentious but classy in its own way ;) We'll definitely be back :)

02/12/2024: Hemos ido tarde, a las 14.30 y nos han atendido y servido en seguida. Los platos son variados, elaborados y muy sabrosos. Hemos comido en la terraza, al Sol de la tarde, muy a gusto. El personal está muy atento a tus necesidades, es muy rápido y amable. Aunque estaba bastante lleno, no era un lugar muy ruidoso, los clientes eran educados y hablaban en voz baja. Es muy de agradecer cuando se juntan muchas personas en un lugar. Por supuesto que lo recomiendo para comer, espero poder volver.

On the plates, everything was delicate, precise, and expertly prepared. You can taste the real attention to detail in the flavors, but without overdoing it. It was refined, balanced, and above all, truly delicious. The owner was present and personally served us, with a genuine commitment that was palpable. This level of dedication makes all the difference and gives the feeling of being treated like a guest, not just served. We will gladly return to celebrate our wedding dinner here. And we can't wait to discover the other villa as soon as it opens.
