12/01/2025: This charming Logis is located in a small village about five minutes from the A75 motorway, so an excellent stopover. There are only seven rooms in the main building - all are spacious and well equipped, warm and quiet. The hotel welcome is very friendly.
Wifi is free and works well. Tea and coffee in the rooms but limited choice of tea and no milk. No fridge or safe. Very comfy beds with a choice of pillows. Baths available in rooms (best to ask).
Probably best to eat here too, but no worries as the dinner is excellent - some of the best beef I have had in a while. Good menu choices, all well prepared, and a perfectly adequate wine list (glass, carafe or bottle). Breakfast is fine, but no hot food or toast.
I was really pleased to have chosen this venue for an overnight stay.

From the first contact to your departure at the end of the evening, you were impeccable!!
Friendly and helpful staff, impeccable service, and of course, succulent and refined dishes.
We couldn't have hoped for better....
Special mention to Julien for the reception, who took great care even during the preparations. And to Mélanie for the dinner; it was perfectly executed! It was a delight!
You made our wedding one of the most beautiful days of our lives!!

Refined dishes, combined with the kitchen's talent, result in a delicious meal. Our friends and family were also unanimous on this point.

Cela fait des années que nous mangeons tous les jours "aux fontanettes" à chaque séjour au ski. Nous ne nous en lassons pas, ...
La carte est excellente, le personnel très très sympa, la patronne est elle-même souriante et enjouée. Le restaurant est également équipé d'une immense terrasse extérieure, pour profiter du soleil, car à Pralognan la Vanoise il fait souvent très beau en plus

21/01/2025: We have been to the newly taken over Manhattan. Very very disappointed! exorbitant prices and the quality is not there. A steak for €28 cold and not cooked as I asked. Duck confit not hearty enough.
This opinion was shared verbally at checkout. A little extra for the waitress who is very professional and adorable. Too bad because this local restaurant was our weekend canteen. We must get our act together and quickly in order to avoid desertion by regulars who, I admit, can be demanding.

27/09/2024: This restaurant is really close to its customers. We ate really well. The dishes took us on a journey. The waiters/managers took great care of us. Great. There were also few people there but in September this is not surprising. And then the team was very accessible and took the time to explain to us how each dish was thought of and where the idea came from. In short, we are happy :)

03/07/2025: I just spent 3 days in Magnolia Calvi.
The location is perfect, near to everything very central and convenient.
Unfortunately few event were really annoying;
To start, one morning while we were still in bed, the housekeeper tried to enter the room without knocking. We shouted “no”, but she came in anyway—and then proceeded to speak to us standing at the door, while we were still lying in bed. It felt like a complete lack of privacy and respect.
The next day, after the cleaning service came through, we returned to find our blanket thrown on the floor, and the towels hadn’t even been replaced. That was honestly quite shocking and unacceptable for any hotel.
The reception is almost All the time empty, we tried to call few times, but no one ever answered.
And also, if you have big luggage’s, no one will help you carry it, which in my opinion is the basic service any hotel should provide.
30/06/2025: We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The welcome was warm and the owners were very kind. Dogs are welcome.
