27/07/2026: Excellent restaurant. Warm welcome. Impeccable setting.

27/07/2026: We made a reservation using a Romantic Tables gift box, which specified a "Duguesclin menu" including a glass of champagne, starter, main course, and dessert (as stated on the box's website). The waiter told us we were entitled to a two-course menu, either a starter and main course or a main course and dessert, with a glass of wine. I informed him of the menu's specifications, but he insisted that was not the case. We asked to upgrade to the Duguesclin menu, paying the difference, but this was refused. However, he did allow us to order a bottle of wine instead of two glasses. The background music was a bit loud (due to the low ceiling), making conversation difficult, so we asked for it to be turned down. The waiter did so, but only slightly. The main courses and desserts were refined and very well prepared. It was a shame about the customer service aspect; a little less assertiveness and a clearer understanding of what the gift box offers would be appreciated. Thank you and have a good day.

28/06/2026: Inspite of being right next to the notre dame, this small restaurant was filled with locals. The menu is small, but to the point, everything comes out fast and is done well. We enjoyed the dish of the day and the beef as well as the salad with the gost cheese. The prices are really cheap too! Well worth it.

06/08/2026: A fantastic discovery! The dishes were truly delicious, prepared with care and bursting with flavor. You can tell the ingredients are high-quality and the cooking is done with passion. The service was equally remarkable: professional, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant in Mussidan. I will definitely be back!

18/07/2026: I usually leave reviews only when a place is either truly disappointing or exceptionally good, rarely anything in between. This restaurant is a must‑try when visiting Paris! The food was exceptional: we shared the foie gras as a starter, followed by a fish dish and a duck breast for our mains. Since we were sharing everything with our unde-2yo we requested no extra salt, and the kitchen noted and respected this without hesitation. The staff were also very thoughtful in preparing a convenient table with a uniquely designed child seat that matched the restaurant’s décor (not the typical one you see elsewhere). We had to leave right after finishing our meal because our little one was getting sleepy, so we didn’t manage to take any photos, but we will definitely be back!

16/07/2026: A very good experience. The place is charming and the service is quick. The food is generous and delicious. There's an outdoor courtyard. The interior decor is worth seeing.

16/08/2026: Arrived at 7:30 pm, left at 11 pm… Extremely slow service. The food was good, but the value for money was poor. It clearly didn't live up to the restaurant's reputation and accolades.

15/08/2026: Our children invited us to Les Embruns yesterday: everything was delicious—the dishes, the presentation, the sides, the flavors, the colors, the wines, the desserts—all in a simple, warm, and unpretentious atmosphere. We can't wait to go back.

15/07/2026: As regulars at Monsieur Moulinot, we come here often for both dinner and drinks. This time, we were there for the football match and, as usual, everything was perfect. The service is impeccable, professional, and always pleasant. The menu is intentionally short, but that's precisely its strength: fresh ingredients, well-prepared dishes, and genuine quality on the plate. We were also very pleasantly surprised by the new lunchtime set menus: €22 for a starter/main or main/dessert, and €25 for a starter/main/dessert. The menu changes very regularly, making us want to come back and discover what's new. In this neighborhood, it's truly an excellent initiative and something that was sorely needed. An address we wholeheartedly recommend!

19/06/2026: A superb culinary experience. You can feel the chef's passion for cooking, and it shines through perfectly in his dishes: every element on the plate is carefully prepared. A delight for the palate. We particularly enjoyed the scallops with orange butter and the homemade pear sorbet. Go without hesitation. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.
