23/02/2026: We received a very warm welcome at this restaurant, which was open on a Monday. The waiter offered to adjust the menu for the children (as there wasn't a children's menu). The baked egg with foie gras was delicate. The duck shepherd's pie was also mild, and the portion was larger when not included in the set menu. The Cajasse cheese was melt-in-your-mouth tender.

09/11/2025: On a cycling trip in the Ardèche, what a delightful surprise to find this friendly inn nestled at the top of a beautiful road! I spent a wonderful evening there in excellent company watching France vs. South Africa; the warmth of the place and the people perfectly balanced the bitterness of the defeat. The cuisine was generous and featured local specialties. There was also a fine selection of wines. Laurette and Yohann, a huge thank you for your hospitality!

14/02/2026: Another wonderful experience last night with the tasting menu. A few adjustments are still being made to the new menu, as it was the reopening. But as always, a lot of work went into the preparations and a lot of research went into wowing us with local produce. And it's always a pleasure to chat with this young team.

04/12/2025: Everything is indeed homemade. One drawback: it's impossible to go on a whim, to share a meal with friends... We love the place and the chef's refined cuisine, however, we regret losing the spontaneity, being tied to the reservation schedule. There's a real lack of flexibility, in communication as well. It's a shame, and in the end... well, we gave up!

01/03/2026: We've been coming to this restaurant for many years and we're forced to admit that it's declining in quality... The meat isn't local; we ordered three double-patty burgers. The waiter, who was otherwise very friendly, brought us three single burgers and three fries. Don't bother looking for lettuce leaves or any color to brighten up the plate—you won't find them! When we got to the till, we were handed a bill with the three burgers charged double! The owner apologized, but not very sincerely. What a shame for a resort town that's losing businesses not to keep a good restaurant... We won't be going back.

14/02/2026: I was a little disappointed by the limited menu: calf's head, sweetbreads, or hanger steak… perhaps because it's off-season? Photos of the menus on Google showed a wider variety. Otherwise, everything was good and well-prepared. One minor drawback was the open kitchen: cooking smells wafted throughout the room.

A remarkable welcome, an inn where all the decor has been carefully curated over the years—true treasures for the eyes. A warm, unpretentious, family atmosphere; it's simply genuine and heartfelt. Thank you for your generosity! As for the food, it was pot-au-feu day, a "simple" dish, but not so simple... heart and soul in the kitchen resulted in an absolutely delicious dish, with wonderful, old-fashioned flavors, incredible quality ingredients, a truly special moment spent with family, where you feel like you're part of the family. A thousand thanks for this time spent at your inn, like being at home with friends... See you very soon!
