26/05/2026: We stopped for lunch during our cycling trip at this incredible place, Lo Cagarol. The food was fantastic—fresh, beautifully presented, and above all, delicious—from starter to main course to dessert. The service was top-notch, and the team and chef were incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it; stop by for a delicious meal.

A cool and energetic welcome, a small, cozy dining room (with tables also available in the pedestrian alley), a varied menu, and delicious food. A nice selection of wines, by the glass or bottle; these guys know their stuff and will be happy to advise you.
In short, a place you'll want to return to.

02/05/2026: We went there to enjoy classic cuisine and we weren't disappointed; everything was good. The semi-cooked foie gras was perfect, and the ravioli with cooked foie gras were delicious. The cassoulet didn't disappoint, though it was more traditional. It's one of the few places in Carcassonne worth the trip. The service was friendly, and they provided excellent wine recommendations.

From the amuse-bouche to dessert, it was an explosion of flavors and delightful surprises thanks to the perfectly paired dishes! Our grandson thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was impeccable, with smiles and attentiveness—everything to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience! A huge thank you!!!

You can sense a harmonious team, always searching for that "little something extra" that makes all the difference.
The ingredients are local and of remarkable quality, and the menu is updated very regularly.
Special mention goes to the warm welcome from the owner, who is so friendly and has a great sense of humor.
An exceptional place that I highly recommend.
