02/12/2025: A classic brasserie atmosphere, a big thank you to the waiter who didn't leave his customers alone (there were nine of us) and in the best sense of the word, describing the dishes so you could truly savor them. So, a lovely time enjoying good food, even on the last day of service before the holidays, with an extra touch of local porcini mushrooms. Thank you for this experience.

21/11/2025: We had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely delicious, but a huge plus was that Julien, the waiter and bartender, and the lady were truly wonderful! A big thank you to them! We'll be back, but this time we'll be prepared to stuff ourselves 😅🤤

27/02/2026: A fantastic evening! The food was absolutely delicious, an EXCELLENT meal!!! From the melt-in-your-mouth ribeye steak to the raclette burger where you rediscover the true taste of raclette cheese, and the fresh fish, everything was perfect! The staff was very friendly! I highly recommend it!

I highly recommend this place and will gladly return.

From the moment you step inside, you'll appreciate the cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with its tasteful decor and simple yet authentic ambiance, where you'll quickly feel at ease. The welcome is particularly pleasant: smiling, attentive, and professional, without ever being intrusive. The service is smooth and efficient, which greatly enhances the enjoyment of the meal. You can sense a genuine desire to do things well and offer a quality experience. The cuisine is refined and delicious, prepared with excellent ingredients, and the dishes are well-balanced. Everything is expertly executed, unpretentious yet full of flavor. The value for money is very reasonable, especially considering the quality offered and the location. In short, Au Rez de Chaussée is a sure bet: a warm, genuine, and pleasant place that we readily recommend and where we'll happily return.

12/02/2026: This place is magical. We love the mountains and the atmosphere there. This hostel is perfect. We go there regularly.

27/01/2026: I ate at this inn and the food was excellent. I had the venison: the meat was very tender and perfectly cooked. The prices are reasonable and the service impeccable, with a very friendly waiter. Next time, I'll order everything on the menu (well… I'll try 😄).

09/01/2026: I often eat here with colleagues, I highly recommend it! Try, among other things, the chicken strips with korma spices – basmati rice, bell peppers, red onions, coriander.

20/11/2025: I'm giving it four stars because it's a good restaurant, but the manager isn't very friendly. You go in for a coffee, and the guy doesn't even crack a smile. I came with someone who wasn't feeling well, and I can understand the manager, but what happened wasn't my fault or my friend's. The guy just wanted to act all high and mighty, but he ran away from us, so that's no excuse for avoiding my gaze.

15/02/2026: Delicious galettes and crepes!! The best homemade caramel crepe! The servers are very efficient and lovely, the service is fast, I recommend it 100%! (One small drawback: the place is small, but that's part of its charm too.)

21/02/2026: Dinner on Saturday, February 21st, everything was perfect: the meat was cooked to perfection, the quality of the ingredients was excellent, and the Charolais beef was incredibly buttery 👏. The chocolate fondant was served exactly as it should be. Bravo to the chef and his team! Impeccable service, thank you to Aurélien, who was very professional and had a touch of humor that was a welcome relief in a world that's gone awry. The waitress was very welcoming and incredibly kind, which was evident from the moment we walked in. A very pleasant experience in a cozy setting; we were delighted with our visit.
