From the furniture to the ingredients, everything is chosen with care and passion, and this is evident in the dishes, which were all excellent, sophisticated, and generous. A delightful experience that we will cherish. Thank you.

08/12/2025: What a magnificent show! The dancers were top-notch, with superb costumes. The presenter has a wonderful voice and is a very good impressionist. The meal was excellent and refined. I will gladly return to see the second show.
07/12/2025: In a magnificent setting, you'll dine and enjoy a lively "Generation 80" show: a delightful trip down memory lane with an energetic dance troupe and two uplifting singers. Come to the Cabaret de la Chouette; you'll have a fantastic time. A huge thank you to Tony, Florie, Melissa, Angélique, Antoine, Vivien, and everyone who made this an unforgettable experience.

I don't often leave reviews, but the food was so delicious and the service so warm that it was well worth it.

17/02/2026: If you want to eat somewhere in Calvi in February, you'll have to look around. Most restaurants are closed, but not at La Poivrière. We seemed to be the only guests until a large group arrived and a DJ started blasting music. A strange experience, but not entirely unpleasant. The food was good, well-prepared, and the host, who didn't speak English, did his best. All in all, not a great experience, but I think that was due to the circumstances.

We ate there on a whim while visiting the city before moving here—a real culinary journey with superb flavors.
We went back again after moving in, and found the same delicious flavors and the same pleasure. Chef Paul is very pleasant and has a great sense of humor.
We love knowing we have such a good restaurant close to home. Going there means you'll want to go back.
