23/09/2024: Very lively atmosphere, great food, friendly service, nothing not to like here. Oysters were fabulous, ditto the chocolate layer cake. Roast chicken with mashed potatoes both solid. Recommended. Do make reservations!

21/09/2024: The best restaurant in the area to savor the specialties! The bouillabaisse is to die for!! For a much more reasonable price than other restaurants. The servers are really very nice. We had a blast!

The service was very friendly, in particular the waiter's impressive fillet haul... it's worth seeing The products are quality and the price seemed fair to us compared to other cards Plus we leave with the leftovers and serve ourselves again at home.. 17/12/2025: Walked past this place which from the outside just looked like a typical cafe. On asking a waiter we were invited into the bistro with our dog in tow. Made to feel very welcomed.. We had an excellent lunch consisting of fillet of beef, wine and a delicious pudding. What a find. This Bistro is very good. I would highly recommend a visit. 4/5 stars in my view.

07/12/2025: We didn't have a reservation and thought we wouldn't be able to eat in Navarrenx, but Le P'tit Bistrot was open. Tables were available on the terrace and in the indoor dining room. We opted for the latter and enjoyed a weekend set menu for €26 per person, which was excellent. Homemade, high-quality cuisine: fried baby squid and duck confit. For dessert, we had a cheese and brioche platter. The confit was exquisite, served with perfectly cooked vegetables—a wonderful contrast. The cheese was superb. The service was very friendly. The couple who served us spoke Spanish, which made communication much easier. The dining room was very quiet and welcoming. Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back.

09/12/2025: The €25 set menu (starter/main/dessert) is very good value. The portions are generous, and you leave feeling full. The decor is quite nice too, with a Bordeaux bistro feel. However, during lunchtime service, I noticed a rather unpleasant smell inside the restaurant. Otherwise, it's very good for lunch.

21/08/2025: Good God, it's good. The menu is very limited, but if what's there suits you, don't hesitate for a second. One word: EXCELLENT!! Plus, the suggestions for starters and dessert were also to die for. Remember to book.

16/11/2025: We discovered this restaurant during a market visit in Montbrison, and we had a wonderful time! The food was absolutely delicious! The service was top-notch! For a very reasonable price considering the quality of the dishes! Definitely worth a visit! Thank you for this lovely experience!

17/10/2025: Probably the restaurant offering the most elaborate, healthy, fresh and contemporary cuisine in Montbrison at the moment. As for the dining room service and the welcome, I think they are of a "level" equivalent to that of the "Colette" restaurant at Domaine de la Plagnette (Les Salles).

08/07/2025: Loved this place! Went with my husband and two boys. The food is excellent, as is the service. Fun decor, especially if you're a 90s kid like me 😁 Advice: make sure you book in advance. We did and we were glad, as the place was fully booked the evening we attended.

18/12/2025: A superb room, steeped in history. A charming welcome and galettes that were as generous as they were delicious. A bit of a sales pitch (3 desserts were charged instead of 4 because the ice cream scoops were smaller; we hadn't noticed). You can go there without hesitation.
