20/07/2026: We were a table of five and had all ordered the same thing: beers and burgers. Unfortunately, the drinks arrived in dribs and drabs, which prevented us from toasting together. As for the cheddar burger, it was a huge disappointment: we were expecting gooey, melted cheese, but instead found a simple slice of dry cheese placed on top of the bun and overcooked fries. An unappetizing and frankly disappointing presentation.

10/05/2026: Hello. The meal consisted of small portions and very fatty meat, so we went with friends who also shared their disappointment. The prices were very high and the portions too small for customers with average appetites. So, we were all quite disappointed, especially considering the much better restaurants nearby.

09/05/2026: The welcome was good, the setting too, but the value for money was disappointing. While the quality of the food seemed acceptable, the quantity was lacking, and I'm a light eater. All four of us agreed on this point. Having frequented restaurants in the Auvergne, Drôme, and Ardèche regions, this inn left me with mixed feelings. Far too expensive for what it offered... I know everything is going up, but in this particular case, we felt like we got the bare minimum for the maximum price.

A very pleasant surprise; during our vacation, we thought we were going to a brasserie whose decor might suggest something basic, but in reality, the chefs are very talented and creative, passionate about working with local products. We highly recommend it!

11/08/2026: On the island for two days, a visit to L’Etal du Boucher is a must for any meat lover! Two days, two meals there! Their meats are excellent, their dishes are beautifully prepared: special mention to the chef! My husband and son loved it! For me, being vegetarian: no problem at all: they adapt perfectly! The service is absolutely top-notch! The waitresses, Clara and Mimi, are energetic, smiling, very pleasant, and above all, very efficient and attentive, which makes the meal even more enjoyable. Very well located, accessible for people with reduced mobility, young children, and dogs are welcome! Thank you to Philippe, Virginie, and Didier for their warm welcome and kindness! Remember to book your table during peak season to be sure not to miss out on a meal there!

25/05/2026: A wonderful experience. We ate there as a family yesterday and everything was fantastic. Great atmosphere, wonderful welcome, perfect food! What more could you ask for!

25/05/2026: We would have loved to eat there. Despite our reservation, the table we had booked on the terrace was unavailable. The extremely unfriendly head waiter then drove us away for good. Since our French isn't very good, he felt unable to communicate with us properly. A real shame.

The welcome was warm, the dishes were delicious (homemade, which is rare these days), generous portions, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. Everyone loved it! 11/08/2026: We thought we'd end our stay on a high note, but no. A real disappointment. One star for the location... The cocktails and dishes are bland... swimming in cream or so-called cocktail sauce that's more like mayonnaise... lacking in flavor. The prize for worst dish goes to the fish and chips... a big ball of breadcrumbs... hollow inside... where's the fish?... The waitress told us the owner would come to see us... we're still waiting... We didn't order dessert (at the risk of another disappointment...) we paid the owner, telling him all about it... no reaction... The bill was full without us even touching the fish and chips... just there to make money!!! Then we wonder why people don't go to restaurants anymore...
