18/06/2026: This lunchtime, we stopped at Sylvia and had a lovely time. We chose croque-madame sandwiches, followed by crème brûlée for dessert, both with coffee. Nothing complicated, but sometimes that's exactly what you want: a simple, well-prepared meal served in a pleasant setting. The croque-madame sandwiches were delicious, the crème brûlée was the perfect ending to lunch, and we left satisfied. A place where you feel comfortable taking a break in the heart of Chantilly, unpretentious, simply enjoying a good meal.

31/05/2026: We had the Croque Monsieur with a salad. Very generous portions. So well prepared. The wait staff was very accommodating and helpful. We arrived via train and they were so nice placing our bags (carry on size) out of the way. Although this restaurant is very busy, it took no time to get seated and served. We sat outside and enjoyed the company.

02/07/2026: Some of the food was delicious, but a lot of it lacked creativity and was mediocre in taste. We were disappointed with the average wine pairing, pretty much got the same wine regardless of what we ordered, but in all fairness it was only 23€ for three glasses. I expected better based on the reviews. Cheese chariot was great.

10/05/2026: Passing through this well-located restaurant with a superb view, I found the bread stale, perfect for making bread pudding... I pointed it out to the manager who couldn't care less, barely offering an apology, no gesture of goodwill whatsoever. I suppose times are tough for everyone! In short, I don't recommend this restaurant, even though it's well-located.

30/05/2026: A very fine establishment, expertly run by the owner, with a sharp wit, just the way I like it. Recommended by the wine merchant, whose neighbor is Monsieur Jean's wine shop. Simple, regional cuisine, very flavorful, served in a 60s/70s setting, reminding me of my youth. Very clean establishment. Also boasts a lovely terrace. It's a shame we were only passing through... I highly recommend it and I will return...

26/05/2026: If you're passing through Gevrey-Chambertin, you absolutely must stop at this charming little restaurant. It boasts a fantastic vintage decor inside and a lovely terrace out front. The menu is concise, featuring fresh, local ingredients: snails, parsley ham, baked eggs with Époisses cheese, beef bourguignon... And, as expected in the region, a nice wine list. The small adjoining shop is full of all sorts of lovely items.

08/03/2026: For over 15 years we've been coming to Le Relais de Piau, winter and summer alike, and it's always fantastic! The food is consistently delicious, with a special mention for the royal garbure, of course 😋, and the owners are genuinely wonderful! After the terrible storms that hit the restaurant, you bravely bounced back and reopened – well done! And congratulations on the new decor, 10/10 😉. As you can see, we never miss an opportunity to come and see you! See you very soon!

26/05/2026: Excellent welcome, very successful contemporary decor, and perfect value for money. The added bonus: the green terrace. Don't let the name fool you, it's an excellent restaurant! A first visit, but definitely not the last!

25/05/2026: Always a cool and friendly atmosphere, which is part of the charm of this place, both indoors and outdoors. You're never disappointed by the food and desserts, but it's best to book ahead, especially on weekends! The owner and service are friendly and relaxed.

19/04/2026: I ate there with a group while traveling. There are three dining rooms, two of which were completely full during the meal...that speaks volumes about the quality of the food! There were six of us, and we were a bit rushed. We ordered four Friday couscous dishes and a separate starter/main course/dessert. The service was quick and impeccable. The semolina was superb, and the lamb was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The couscous was top-notch! It's a shame I don't live in the area; it would have been my go-to spot!

02/06/2026: A lovely Sunday meal for Mother's Day. The dining room is airy, the tables are well-spaced: the setting is pleasant. A large terrace will entice us back. The menu is varied but not overwhelming with different dishes. The prices are reasonable. The service is friendly and attentive. We will return.

05/07/2026: Disappointed by your lack of professionalism. After claiming you had tried to reach us (which was false), you cancelled our reservation under the pretext of a 15-minute delay. A convenient excuse to close early? It's a shame, because hospitality and transparency are just as important as the food. In the future, don't confirm anything for 9:30 PM if you can't manage it… 5 tourists visiting Lyon; Luckily there are plenty of other nice places in Lyon!

04/07/2026: We had lunch today at 12:30 pm in this traditional Lyonnais restaurant, and what a wonderful discovery! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional kindness and warmth. The staff is incredibly attentive, the owners are equally welcoming, and the entire team, from the cooks to the chef, is passionate and dedicated to their customers. The food is simply outstanding. Generous portions, perfectly prepared, with authentic flavors that truly surprised us. Each dish is a real treat and demonstrates genuine expertise. The service is impeccable: quick, attentive, friendly, and highly professional. Frankly, it's flawless! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would without hesitation. For us, it's a perfect 20/20! A huge thank you to the entire team for this delightful and convivial experience. We will gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to discover a true Lyonnais bouchon where you feel right at home.
