11/07/2026: A hidden gem of a restaurant that's definitely worth discovering! 😊 I had the grilled octopus there: it was perfectly cooked, delicious, and served in a very generous portion. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend it!

21/09/2026: Unfortunately, this is the second time we've had a similar experience at this establishment. The first time was in winter. We were the only customers seated on the terrace, with our dogs, and despite this, no one came to greet us. We finally decided to leave. We wanted to try again, but this time, the same scenario played out. We sat down on the terrace at a table that had just become available. The previous order was still on the table, right next to us. This didn't bother us at all, and out of respect for their work, we even moved the dishes together to make clearing easier. As we sat down, the waiter walked right past us. We said hello, and he responded. He was clearly aware of our presence and had seen that we had just sat down. We then waited at least 15 minutes without anyone coming to take our order. The most baffling thing is that customers who arrived after us, seated at a table right next to ours, were served before us. The same waiter came to take their order just a few meters away, even though he had seen us arrive, responded when we greeted him, and had already walked past our table several times. Another waitress then went around to the tables and stopped at the same neighboring table to ask if someone had taken care of them. Again, even though we were right next to them and still waiting, no one spoke to us. It was this feeling of being completely ignored that bothered us most. We can perfectly understand that there might be a crowd, a wait, or a staff shortage. A simple "I'll be with you in a few minutes" would have been more than enough, and we would have waited without any problem. We finally decided to leave, once again, without even having been able to order. We're not just tourists passing through; we live in the area, in the same town. We could very well have been regular customers. But after two similar experiences, it's hard to dismiss this as a simple oversight. In our opinion, when a customer sits down on the terrace, it's the staff's responsibility to come and take their order. The customer shouldn't have to go looking for a server to be served. So it wasn't the wait time that bothered us, but the feeling of simply not being treated as customers. Two attempts, two times we left without being served. It's a shame, but we won't be trying a third time.

03/10/2026: Eating a dish with a heavy sauce, served in the bottom of a pot with mussels, is a rather complicated experience... lacking substance and generosity, which is a shame because the flavors are there... but at €24.90 a dish, the experience is disappointing... the same is true from the appetizer to the dessert; the quantity-to-price ratio is not right. On the other hand, the waitress was pleasant, and the service was okay, but it must be said that we were the only ones in the restaurant. We will try again at another time.

20/09/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent place! Delicious food, fresh and seasonal produce, a top-notch welcome, smiles, a real pleasure, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Everything was perfect! 😍 I highly recommend it, go without hesitation, you'll love it!

08/10/2026: A truly charming, authentic restaurant that seems frozen in time: a warm welcome, authentic decor, little wooden booths, and above all, excellent homemade food! Merda di can and daube, a truly divine pistou soup, generous and served with pesto and croutons, and a delicious, traditional crème brûlée. In short, a place I would recommend to everyone!

03/10/2026: We had a truly delightful family meal at Lou Balico in Nice. The dishes were delicious, bursting with Niçoise flavors that delighted us from beginning to end. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. A wonderful place that we highly recommend.

28/07/2026: Le Patio, the perfect restaurant for a delicious seafood meal! A delight from the warm welcome to the little coffee. Not a single flaw. Arriving around 9 pm, the three of us wanted to share a pleasant moment over a seafood meal to end the day on a high note. We were drawn to the chalkboard menu, which read "fresh seafood from Grau du Roi." All we could do was hope there would be a spot for us despite the late hour and the fact that we hadn't made a reservation, just going with the flow... Jackpot! We were told a maximum wait of 10 minutes, and we didn't wait a second longer! The wait was more than respected, the welcome was warm and friendly, and we were given a small table on the dock. We were thrilled! For an aperitif, we enjoyed homemade iced tea and a delicious cocktail! We whetted our appetites with flavorful, fragrant mussels (a great start to our seafood meal). For the main courses, cuttlefish, octopus, and rouille graulenne were all equally delicious. A real treat for all three of us. Not a word was spoken at the table, our eyes shining with delight! We knew we were at our peak and that the memory was being etched into our minds! The desserts were no less impressive. The little one adored his pistachio crème brûlée, fresh from the oven, and the petits fours in the gourmet coffee that we shared were a far cry from the ubiquitous panna cotta and ice cream. Financier, brownie, waffle, crêpe, apricot muffin: generous and flavorful! Even the coffee was good (rare enough to mention) and served in a beautiful cup 😉 In short, a wonderful time for the three of us, one we will remember. A big thank you to the whole team for the smiles, the good humor, the professionalism, and the quality of the menu. Don't change a thing. Until next time.

30/09/2026: We had a wonderful week from September 23rd to 30th, 2026 at the Auberge des Grands Bois. The welcome was very warm, and the accommodation was satisfactory. Breakfast was plentiful, and the evening meal served in our room was also plentiful and delicious, despite the restaurant being closed due to the off-season. Thank you to the entire team.

29/09/2026: A christening feast! From canapés to dessert, a truly wonderful time! Small salmon and guacamole toasts, mini truffle croque monsieur, mini burgers with duck confit, tuna tataki, beef carpaccio with sweet and sour sauce, small chicken skewers, a charcuterie platter, a crudité platter, an assortment of sauces, focaccia, smoked salmon, cheeses, and more. As for dessert, the traditional croquembouche, whipped cream, please, a strawberry cake crowned with Chantilly cream... In short, a truly delightful experience.

11/09/2026: We've been here and we had the best time ever in this restaurant. MATHIAS et ROMAIN went far and beyond and exceeded all our expectations. They ere the definition of hospitality. The food was absolutely marvellous, cleanliness and service were impeccable. We will definitely be back.

27/08/2026: I have mixed feelings. I ordered three pizzas. The dough was good, but undercooked; they were very pale. They were generously topped, but there was so much cheese that the rest of the toppings were practically invisible, even though they were there. The excess cheese made the pizzas extremely dirty. The service was good.

07/09/2026: Restaurant with a lovely, large, shaded terrace. The staff is friendly. The value for money didn't live up to my expectations, which is a shame. The foie gras was bland, the portions were small, just three sweetbreads for the main course, and the sauces were good but not generous enough. For a €49.50 menu, one would expect better.
