28/10/2025: A great place to stay in the heart of Lisieux. The family room is spacious and quiet. We loved the breakfast, especially the homemade madeleines. The jams are also excellent!

27/10/2025: We stayed at this hotel for one night. After having problems with our first room due to the noise from the kitchen ventilation system, we were moved to another room. The rooms are fine, but nothing extraordinary. The toilet seat was broken, the pipes seemed half-clogged, and when we came in, a damp smell hit our noses. Apart from that: clean room, comfortable bed. Breakfast was okay. Good for a stopover hotel.

22/02/2026: Passing through Metz to visit the cathedral, I stumbled upon a rather unassuming restaurant at its foot. Excellent value for money... a very friendly owner who only puts her own favorite dishes on the menu... No Lorraine specialties, but dishes she loves, and that makes all the difference... you can go there without hesitation. I loved it!

20/12/2025: A delightful experience, stepping back a few decades. Classic and atmospheric. A very limited menu, but honest products, well-prepared, and generous portions. The interior is in dire need of a refresh, but it also creates a nostalgic atmosphere. It certainly won't be to everyone's taste, but we appreciated it. The service is French-style (initially quite cool), but this relaxed towards the end. A major plus was the very tasty (red) wine. Highly recommended for wine lovers.

21/09/2025: We went to La Teranga restaurant with my friend, and I thought it was useful and logical to leave a review. As soon as we arrived, we were immediately immersed in a typical African atmosphere, with pleasant music in the background, super pretty wall decor, subdued lighting, and the small candle on the table made the moment romantic, haha. As for the table service, we both ordered a plate to share as a starter, as well as rice, fish, and chicken as main courses. 10/10 for both the presentation and the taste; the chef is to be commended. We were super happy to have chosen this restaurant. As for the manager, we thank you for your kindness from the phone call for the reservation to the end of the meal. A charming, smiling man, always on the ball, providing top-notch service, just the way we like it. We look forward to seeing you again on our next trip to Nantes.

14/02/2026: My friend, the number 75 bus (that's ironic), got me there without too much delay. As you can imagine, I focused on Balkan dishes, especially stuffed cabbage and mashed potatoes. Almost as good as my mother's cooking! During my conversation with the owner, Verika Marković, I learned that she grew up (I don't remember the exact details) on Rue de la Corderie, between the Church of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary and the Carreau du Temple. Well, that's home for me too! Leaving this decidedly Parisian establishment, I walked a few dozen meters to the Church of Saint-Étienne-du-Mont to pay my respects at the shrine of Saint Genevieve. A personal pilgrimage in a certain Paris that even the RATP and its chaotic bus lines can't keep me from experiencing.
