01/03/2026: A pint of Kronenbourg for €11.50 in the off-season. There's no justification for such a price.

01/03/2026: It was for my son's 26th birthday!!! We opted for three €50 menus and one €40 menu (starter, main course, and dessert)... We started with four aperitifs; just look at the attached photo of how they were served! One €8 cocktail (two fruit juices mixed together with no garnish whatsoever, deplorable). For me, a half-pint of draft beer at €6 (and guess what? 20cl tops!). Incidentally, we had the aperitifs at the same time as the main courses!! But anyway... I won't dwell on the starters; we were hungry... I've included a photo of the 250g duck breast... 150g tops, way overcooked and lukewarm (duck breast, when advertised as uncooked, should be pink!!). My daughter-in-law's was the same... you really had to be hungry! I had frog legs and had no complaints, but my wife's fried food was in homeopathic doses and completely dry! So, we didn't even have dessert… €188.50 for four people, which works out to €47 per person, and frankly, it's not worth it. The young woman and the lady who were serving were very nice, but still, that's not everything. You're going to your doom! I've been in the restaurant business for thirty years, and if my businesses have always been so successful, it's not by chance! It's a fair exchange of services, period! Wake up or stop the damage quickly... or even, call Etchebest... you have a beautiful setting, what a waste!

08/01/2026: My wife and I have been here many times. When friends visit us in Nice, we ALWAYS bring them to Oliviera. One of our favorites dining experiences in all of France. (And we've spent move the 1,000 night in France) Always fresh ingredients, well used in delicious dishes. It's in the tourist area but the food is the way the Niçoise eat (if they are a good cook). No CC bring cash. And buy some olive oil.

01/01/2026: My husband and I seemingly walking into Oliviera in Nice while we were on vacation. We have walked randomly into resturants many times before but this was a once in a lifetime experience for us. Sadly, I don't believe we will ever have experience food like this before. This happened almost 2 years ago! The food, the olive oil, the owner, the overall experience still sticks with us. I can't wait to go back one day with our daughter (who is only 1 years old right now).

16/03/2026: It was okay, but too cramped... that's typical in Paris.

14/03/2026: Terrible bar, the waiter kicked us out at 9:30 pm on a Saturday because "there's nobody here" - clearly we don't matter.

30/12/2025: "Le Village" in Choisy-au-Bac... a lovely discovery, this small bistro restaurant in the heart of the village is perfect for a mother-daughter lunch... a gem for the taste buds!! The welcome is warm, friendly, and attentive, and the setting is very pleasant (small room for 30 people). A minimalist menu (changed regularly) with a choice of 2 starters, 2 main courses, and/or 2 desserts for less than €40... But the cuisine is refined and flavorful, made with fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. Undeniably more than adequate value for money. For my part, I opted for a Toulouse sausage (designed by the chef himself... a killer flavor) with mashed potatoes and caramelized onions, finished with a warm apricot clafoutis. My eldest, meanwhile, chose cod with fregola risotto and finished with a peach gazpacho with its fruit. To accompany everything, on recommendation, we opted for a glass of "Marius" white wine. An excellent choice. In short, we enjoyed ourselves from start to finish!! And we'll each return without hesitation. I highly recommend this restaurant... however, I think it's best to make a reservation because today was a packed house 😉

25/11/2025: A very good bistro-style meal, I loved it. I had the beef kidneys, which were very good. A pleasant experience and friendly staff; I will be back.

22/03/2026: We had booked a table today for 6 people (4 adults and 2 children). We received a very warm welcome from the young waiter, who was very pleasant and professional throughout the entire service – well done! As for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed it; the dishes were beautifully presented and visually appealing. A wonderful Sunday lunch with the family. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back! 👍

The bartender, Adam, was particularly kind, polite, and very professional. He spoke English with my friends, which made the experience even smoother and more enjoyable. Thank you to the whole team!
