10/05/2026: You have to go inside to see the decor of this brasserie, not to visit the restrooms. Time stood still. The service was perfect, the Americano homemade, the dishes excellent, the tarte tatin was warm, and the cheese was at the right temperature and hadn't come straight from the fridge. A wonderful evening.

08/05/2026: A warm and inviting restaurant with soft lighting. The staff is very welcoming and the food is excellent. The cheeseburger with Comté cheese and Espelette pepper is absolutely fantastic!

29/03/2026: We had dinner at Le Cerf, a family of four, on a Saturday evening, and overall it was a pleasant surprise for me. My in-laws, who were already familiar with the restaurant, wanted to introduce it to my partner and me. To start, we were offered a small glass of soup that evening: a nice little touch. For our starter, we chose to share a tarte flambée, which I found rather bland, and therefore disappointing. However, I was more than satisfied with the main course (and I think my partner and in-laws were too). I opted for the potato pancakes with salmon: simple and tasty. I appreciated the generous amount of smoked salmon on the plate. My in-laws had chosen the cordon bleu with fries, while my partner thoroughly enjoyed a piece of beef cooked rare, just as requested. I decided to stop there, as the dessert menu didn't particularly appeal to me! We also appreciated the restaurant's ambiance with its warm, vintage decor. It was also quite quiet that evening, which made for pleasant conversation. Overall, we had a lovely time as a family enjoying a generally good meal.

03/12/2025: A romantic lunch for two during the week. They have an attractive set menu of starter and main course for €14.50. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and received a warm welcome. I rediscovered the flavors of Peru; it was an authentic Peruvian restaurant. I gave it slightly fewer stars for the atmosphere because the restaurant was almost empty, but that's simply because it's new, not their fault.

28/06/2025: La Nouvelle Poste is clearly a safe bet: the food is good, the drinks are even better, and above all... you're treated like royalty. A very special mention goes to Sergio, the master of service, always ultra-professional, fast, warm, with that charming Portuguese accent 🇵🇹. The guy is everywhere, always smiling, always attentive. A true masterclass in hospitality. Thank you, Sergio, you take the art of service to another level.

29/04/2026: Very convenient hotel, close to the highway exit. Excellent facility with ample free parking, a restaurant, meeting room, billiards room, pool, bar, and a great outdoor area, although I didn't use any of them because I was just passing through (for one night). The room wasn't very large but was well-appointed with a comfortable bed and a coffee machine. However, there was no mini-fridge, and I would have appreciated at least a small bottle of water. Friendly staff.

23/02/2026: For a Relais & Châteaux restaurant, we found the service very disappointing. Despite the number of servers, we had to ask several times for a carafe of water and remind them twice that we had ordered wine. It was finally served after our food had arrived. The dishes themselves were good, although the portions were rather small. The setting is pleasant, but this doesn't compensate for the overall poor value for money and a level of service that doesn't live up to the standards of an establishment of this caliber.

05/02/2026: Le Café des Artistes is an excellent bistro-style restaurant with a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The cuisine is creative, refined, yet down-to-earth. The dishes are perfectly balanced in flavor, beautifully presented, and prepared with high-quality, fresh ingredients. The service is attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. The ambiance is stylish and cozy—ideal for a relaxed lunch or dinner. The value for money is also very fair for the quality offered. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy modern French cuisine in a charming, artistic setting.

Each dish showcased seasonal produce, enhanced by perfectly balanced pairings and exquisitely precise cuisine. We were fortunate enough to dine outdoors in an absolutely stunning setting. The service was distinguished by its constant attentiveness, without ever being intrusive. The wine pairings, of great finesse, were perfectly explained by the sommelier, adding a truly enriching dimension to the experience. A huge thank you to the entire team!

26/03/2026: A splendid table, a charming room… and a welcome that seems to have missed the mark when it comes to common sense. We arrive, disabled parking permit clearly displayed, dinner and overnight reservation, parked in front of the entrance in the designated space. And yet, we are advised to park further away “just in case.” Just in case… what exactly? That an imaginary customer, more disabled than us, might magically appear for dinner without staying overnight, but deserve the space more than the guests who remain. A logic that would almost be amusing if it weren't so… creative. Fortunately, the cuisine is remarkable, the room impeccable, and the setting superb. But between a Michelin star and a star of common sense, there is clearly a small gap… in the parking lot.

08/03/2026: For the past few months, we've enjoyed coming to Le Comptoir for a drink. The atmosphere, decor, and staff are pleasant. However, we'd like to inform you that the inside handle of the restroom door has been missing for several months. Also, yesterday in the late afternoon, there was no more paper towel. It's little things like this that make the difference between one establishment and another. You're either professional or you're not! Sincerely.

We stopped at the Place Nationale, saw the restaurant, and noticed it was full, but we wanted to get some information (if they offered other services or if we could come another day) and ask questions. The waitress, barely arrived, offered a less than warm welcome, didn't take the time to listen to us, and promptly ushered us towards the exit, suggesting another restaurant. It's not my habit to criticize a restaurant, and one can understand certain situations, knowing that the restaurant business isn't easy. But there's an art to how you interact with customers; first impressions are crucial. This review isn't intended to criticize this establishment, but rather to encourage the staff to be more attentive to how they welcome potential customers. I am responding to your feedback: Sir, your sarcastic response only confirms the lack of professionalism we experienced. Before writing a review, we took the time to consult your positive feedback. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different. To claim that it is abnormal to enter a full restaurant to ask for information or make a future reservation is a rather peculiar view of hospitality. You praise the welcome "Madame" gives to your regular customers, but on that day, for us, as Black and Afro-descendant women, the welcome was icy and the expulsion swift. This stark contrast between the glowing reviews and our experience raises a legitimate question about the impartiality of your service. And yet, my colleague returned to calmly tell "Madame" that the way she spoke to me could have caused discomfort, and I was. She became defensive and even more dismissive. Finally, please be aware that your fellow restaurant owners in the city, where we were received with the respect due to any customer, were the first to be shocked by your attitude and do not share your vision of service at all. A true professional knows how to question themselves instead of hiding behind their "regulars" to justify discriminatory behavior.

18/02/2026: Excellent cuisine, beautifully presented dishes, and impeccable service. Smiles and friendliness are always present. All this at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this restaurant located under the arcades of the lovely Place Nationale in Montauban.
