27/05/2026: Can't recommend this place enough. Mains, desserts and drinks - we were out within an hour and half. Reservation is essential. EDIT - Returned after 2 years and the review above still stands 🙂.

26/05/2026: I was alone, accompanied by my dog ​​(a Chihuahua) in my arms, and had chosen a table on the terrace. The manager waited until my food was served before forcing me to put my dog ​​on the floor, claiming it was a regulation! I paid and left the restaurant immediately! You may not like dogs: that's your prerogative. But you don't accept the customer...

16/04/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant! It's very pleasant, especially in the spring. I tried the salmon tartare, it was delicious! And I also recommend their gourmet coffee, it's fantastic!!! 👌🏻

25/05/2026: We had dinner on the terrace and had a wonderful time! Six months pregnant, I was able to enjoy a delicious meal (they even let me know, without asking, whether I could eat it or not, which was a nice touch :) ) and my partner loved it too! Both the main course and dessert were fantastic! We'll gladly come back the next time we're in the area.

28/06/2026: Air conditioning broken, asparagus sauce was watery, chocolate fondant wasn't at all fudgy—in short, a restaurant not recommended, lacking in flavor.

13/06/2026: Fantastic experience at Impasse! I had booked for 18 people, and we had a large space to ourselves with a table and sofas. The reservation was confirmed very quickly. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the cocktails are great. We were surprised to see a small showcase of new artists launching their careers; the atmosphere was amazing.

24/05/2026: Horrible. Loads of reasons for that opinion, but here’s the best example: They only had ONE Coke. I was the first person inside (to set up a birthday party) and the barman informed me it was the ONLY Coke they had. It’s an understaffed bar that could be awesome, but is really, really mediocre. You can find a hundred better bars within 100m, so I don’t understand the positive reviews at all. They told us they’d stay open until 02:00 and that there’d be a DJ at 22:30. There was no DJ (but the music was make-you-deaf loud) and the barman tried to extort us for €60 to stay open past 01:00. Not cool. Barman totally absent for long stretches. In fact, he spent more time yelling at patrons for making noise outside the bar. I’d recommend removing the couches and tables from the entrance if you don’t want people hanging out out front? Food menu consists of charcuterie boards brought in from a restaurant down the street (?) and hummus/tzatziki served from tubs clearly bought at Sitis. We won’t be back.

16/05/2026: What a lovely place! It was full in the afternoon, but we gave it another try in the evening and made a reservation. Nice atmosphere, pleasant service, and delicious food. The smoked tuna (starter) was excellent, as was the duck breast.

09/05/2026: A warm and welcoming place, it's a pleasure to have a drink or a meal there. The team is fantastic, and the food is excellent. Nothing to add except bravo!

11/06/2026: I was recently invited to a family meal at this restaurant and frankly, it was a wonderful discovery! The meals are delicious and generous, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is truly excellent. We'll definitely be back!

02/06/2026: The staff was very rude. We arrived, the tables were free and not reserved, but since they close "early" (9:00 PM) and it's now 7:55 PM, they looked at us askance... amen... shame because the food seemed good.

04/06/2026: Reservation for 12:15 PM. Served at 12:45 PM. Two warm, flat beers. Ten minutes to get them replaced. A fish dish served cold. Ten minutes to get it replaced. Undercooked roast pork from the buffet. A piece of beef swimming in oil. Finally, a €7 error on the bill. It's not what it used to be, so avoid it.

03/06/2026: The starters were not very good at all and only moderately fresh; as for my "grilled" fish, I would say it was more like boiled fish with water on my plate. In short, we were disappointed.

22/05/2026: The beer is excellent, and the staff are lovely. However, the burgers are mediocre. What a shame!

06/05/2026: This is a hidden gem in Blois. If you want to have some good local beer with local people or have tasty food at a very fair price, go here!

04/07/2026: We arrived without a reservation. The welcome and service were perfect. The meal was top-notch. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend it. The meat was of superb quality; it melted in your mouth. Congratulations to the chefs and all the staff.

01/07/2026: A diverse dining room, dark and cozy inside, bright and facing the sea around the heart of the establishment. Young but perfectly integrated staff serve quality dishes in generous portions at a good pace. We went once, as a group of three, then a second time, and not a single complaint. (June 26 and 28, 2026) Seafood, fish, desserts—everything was delicious and fresh. We highly recommend it.

12/06/2026: Made a reservation for two about a month prior to arrival, and when I got to the restaurant, I was seated at a table for 4 in which there were already two other diners, despite the restaurant being almost empty. Not sure what type of hospitality that is considered, but it’s very poor by any standard. The food was average at best and the restaurant itself looked a bit on the rundown side, without much charm to it. About an hour later a group of about 30 arrived most likely from a tour group, which explains their lack of effort at hospitality since they had already made their money. Nonetheless, too many other options around the area too come back to this place and I would not recommend it.
