18/09/2026: I went for lunch during the week. We each ordered a steak tartare. See photo. The service was excellent. The young man was attentive, smiling, and professional. 2 steak tartares + 2 coffees: €52.00

12/09/2026: We sat at a table outside, the mood was very nice with a very Parisian view towards other buildings. We had a very friendly server, the service was fast, the food was tasty (we both got the croque monsieur) and the price was very reasonable.

05/09/2026: Fabulous intimate restaurant in the middle of nowhere! The Chef was a wonderful host and rightly proud of the lovely food he created from the seasonal fruit and vegetables. We had a lovely relaxed evening on the terrace of his restaurant, in a very tranquil part of the country.

20/08/2026: Fantastic experience. Seasonal menu featuring local produce; the chef does everything. The welcome, service, and food were all excellent. Great value for money. Local wines. We were just passing through the Gers region, but we'll definitely try to come back.

26/08/2026: We came to Paris with high expectations and after several days were kind of disappointed until this experience. The food and atmosphere was amazing. So much flavor in little plates and exactly what we wanted out of Paris. Please experience this just once, you won't regret it. We were recommended this by chatgpt by asking it a French experience that was upscale that's known for its french food that isn't trendy and it recommended this place. We loved every second of it and can't scream from the roof tops enough that you need to try this. Magnifique!

01/09/2026: I went there with some friends and we had a wonderful time; the crepes are really delicious and very generous. The sweet crepes are even better, especially the shortbread one—I highly recommend them if you have a sweet tooth. ☺️ A creperie I highly recommend.

30/08/2026: I do not recommend it. The food is very average, as is the decor, which really leaves much to be desired. No effort is made with the presentation. The service is rushed.

28/09/2026: Really disappointed with the service here. We came in and pointed at 5euro beer on the menu. Waitress took the order. We ordered 3 more. Once we got the bill we were told 5eu was only happy hour, and we would be charged 10eu. Would have been nice to be told that upfront. Very disingenuous service.

03/07/2026: Had the 3-course lunch at Le Barto Annemasse on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant was surprisingly busy, which is always a good sign. Service was friendly, though a little slow at times as there seemed to be only one very efficient lady managing most of the front-of-house duties. Despite being busy, she handled everything professionally. The food was enjoyable and well-prepared, although nothing particularly stood out as memorable. Considering the quality and the affordable price, the set lunch offers good value for money. Overall, a solid choice if you're looking for a reasonably priced French meal in Annemasse.

15/06/2026: This is my fifth visit, and it's always so welcoming. The homemade dishes are excellent (special mention to the terrines). I highly recommend it.
