25/06/2026: Dishes that border on perfection. Incredible flavors. A place not to be missed. One drawback is the service: when you arrive, it takes forever for someone to greet you. Once seated, it can take up to half an hour before you're served. And then everyone is encouraged to leave quickly as soon as they've finished eating.

04/01/2026: Simply brilliant. Whenever we're in Sauveterre-de-Béarn, we eat there. The waitress is the best. The bartender is very friendly. Last time, he even gave us free coffee.

03/06/2026: ABSOLUTELY AVOID! A complete disgrace. 🚨 One star is still too generous for the lack of professionalism and blatant dishonesty of this establishment. We had booked for 24 people at 5 pm to celebrate a birthday. The owner simply canceled our reservation that very day, WITHOUT EVEN LETTING US KNOW. As a result, we arrived with all our guests to find the bar already packed to the rafters. After talking to them, we realized the scam: this gentleman had accepted another reservation for 150 people, even though his bar is absolutely not equipped to accommodate them. Profit takes precedence over customer service. To top it all off: They charge whatever they think they can get away with: A menu displays prices, but the servers charge whatever they want, raising prices at will. A pure and simple rip-off. An unbearable sauna: No air conditioning despite the sweltering heat outside (and even worse inside due to overcrowding). I strongly advise against it. The 11th arrondissement and Paris are full of much nicer, more welcoming, and above all, HONEST bars. Keep walking, don't give them a single penny!

06/05/2026: We have rarely eaten so badly in France. There were four of us, and the experience was a complete fiasco from beginning to end. I ordered the asparagus and artichoke tartlet for 23 euros. The waitress herself warned me that it was small, specifying that it was a starter and that we should order another course. Furthermore, the sauce was strange, and the ingredients clashed completely. To top it all off, there was a fly swimming in the bottle of water we were served. As for my friends, they ordered flammekueches, which were extremely greasy, clearly swimming in cream, making them sickeningly delicious. It was truly a terrible experience, a level of quality we have rarely encountered. Absolutely avoid this place.

30/03/2026: A down-to-earth house, down-to-earth cuisine, friendly and competent service! It's good that places like this still exist, given the many pizzerias or Asian restaurants that are all interchangeable.

06/05/2026: We didn't stay at the hotel but had lunch in a lovely room decorated in a Corsican style. The hosts were welcoming, and we enjoyed a beautiful platter of authentic Corsican charcuterie followed by Corsican cheeses and a Corsican dessert. The accompanying wine was excellent, which prompted us to visit the Domaine de Durban. A very beautiful place with a warm welcome. Thank you.

28/03/2026: Superb experience. Better than some 3-star hotels. Roller shutters ensure a completely dark room. Separate toilet and bathroom. A door separates the entrance to the room/bathroom/toilet from the bedroom area. A spacious room. A balcony with two chairs. The ski lockers are excellent. The room is heated, so you don't have to put your feet in freezing boots. Breakfast features many locally sourced or homemade products, all organic and delicious. The selection changes daily. There's no kettle or coffee machine in the room, but you can use the breakfast room all day for tea, coffee, water, and any leftover cakes and pastries. The staff is fantastic, welcoming, and helpful. If they're available, they can sometimes make arrangements for the ski locker or garage. We slept very well; the bedding and pillows were excellent. The hotel is in the same area as Jandri. You just have to cross the street and the square to get to the main lift. However, I don't think there's an elevator. We were on the ground floor, so I might not have noticed. It might not be the most accessible hotel for people with disabilities; it's best to check beforehand. And the orange juice... I'm not sure it was freshly squeezed, but hey, when that's all you have to complain about 😂

27/03/2026: This hotel is very pleasant, comfortable, and has a family atmosphere. With only 15 rooms, excellent cuisine, and a breathtaking view of the Mont Blanc mountain range from the room's balcony! Don't hesitate to stay there!

30/05/2026: This is a great pub, a little piece of England with some great beers, and food cooked by Landlord/owner John. We are travelling in our Motorhome and John kindly allowed us to stay the night on the large carpark belonging to the pub, if you buy food and beer, no fee for the stopover. Naomi was running the bar, so friendly and speaks perfect English too. The steak burger was delicious and the salmon dish light and healthy. The beers, (real ale on draught) were superb. We ran a tab and paid for everything at the end of the evening. Highly recommend and we will be back next time we are in this area. Thank you.
