31/03/2026: I have mixed feelings about this place as although the food was good it was not special. The wine was good. The owners seemed to be bored and tired, not friendly. My plat “a la carte” priced almost as the daily menu of 2 plats had exacly the same side dish, same size as the side dish of the main from the menu.

28/03/2026: Today we went to the restaurant and I tried the duck confit for the first time… spectacular! 🤤 The meat was incredibly tender and juicy, truly an experience I would repeat without hesitation. Moreover, everything was fantastic: the atmosphere was lovely, the service attentive, and the food was high quality. We left delighted. Highly recommended!

26/04/2026: Excellent meal, perfect service. During a weekend in La Grande Motte, my wife, son, and I dined at this restaurant where we were greeted by exceptionally attentive waiters. The meal was delicious; I savored the bull stew, my wife the sea bream fillet, and my son the beef of the day. The owner, incredibly attentive, went around to each table to ask if everything was alright. A must-try!

The welcome was warm and friendly; we immediately felt at ease. A big thank you to the particularly attentive waiter who took such good care of our daughter… and even our dog, which was truly appreciated! A truly excellent restaurant that we highly recommend.

But beyond the quality of the meal, it was the warm welcome and kindness of the owner that truly impressed us. He was absolutely wonderful with our one-year-old son, taking the time to look after him during our meal so we could eat more peacefully. This kind of attentiveness is rare and deserves to be highlighted. A huge thank you for your kindness and the warm atmosphere; we will definitely be back!

28/04/2026: For my 18th birthday, we had a lovely time at the Hotel du Lac. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and professional, and the dessert served in our room was a nice touch. The room was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the view of the lake was superb. I highly recommend this hotel.

25/04/2026: I returned to the restaurant, enjoying a peaceful weekend. I savored a view of the lake from the shaded terrace. A natural atmosphere and attentive staff. I reiterate my 5-star rating. The madeleine cocktail was a delightful discovery. For my starter, I had plump, pearly scallops cooked to a perfect pearly sheen—simply superb, especially with the vermouth reduction. My main course was monkfish tail risotto with carrots and thyme. Dessert was a generous pistachio crème brûlée—a true delight. Never two without three!

The food is simply superb with excellent value for money; I recommend the homemade foie gras, among other dishes cooked to perfection over a wood fire. The service is pleasant, both the gentleman and the lady… I highly recommend this place; it's worth the detour, and avoid taking the viaduct if you're passing through.

18/04/2026: The food is excellent. However, the prices are high: €11 for a small dessert. On the other hand, the service needs improvement. The inappropriate comments and the manager's bad mood were unwelcome!
