The cassoulet is generous, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and bursting with flavor; you can taste the tradition and the quality of the ingredients. The portions are substantial, and the value for money is excellent. Special mention goes to the warm welcome and attentive service, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit for savoring authentic cassoulet in a friendly atmosphere 🤍

23/02/2026: This was our first time here, and honestly, I don't regret coming at all. The restaurant is great, and I love the decor! 😍 We had a wonderful meal! They just forgot to bring us more bread, but otherwise, everything was perfect. Thanks to the team and especially to Audrey, who was so kind! We'll be back! ☺️

22/02/2026: A very pleasant experience. The fish and chips were absolutely excellent! The batter was crispy and truly delicious, and the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The desserts were also very generous and delicious. The waitresses were friendly and efficient. A nice touch was being able to pay the bill directly via our mobile phones, and we could also leave a tip of any amount we wished. We'll be back.

05/03/2026: We spent three nights at this family-run hotel. For a two-star hotel, it's perfect: a renovated, quiet room with comfortable bedding and a lovely bathroom (we were in the building overlooking the garden). The hotel is very well located on a quiet street, yet just steps from the town center, the cable cars, and the thermal baths. Breakfast and dinner are generous. A great find at an excellent price. The welcome was very friendly; we highly recommend it and will gladly return.

03/03/2026: I had some fish fritters with French fries. I don't know why the French fries weren't available, but the price remained the same. Furthermore, the fried food didn't taste like fried food at all, it was very tasteless.

10/02/2026: Excellent, I recommend it. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was delicious too. Don't miss out!

02/02/2026: This is the place you are actually looking for. Real French food, all home made, including the dessert. The cheese is all from a local farm. The wine selection is moderately priced but very typical and indicative of the region. The menu is small and perfect, with traditional dishes and just the right amount of creativity. Amazing view of the river, and very thoughtful and proper service. The decor is a bit sad, but who cares. Go here, it's amazing.

30/01/2026: The setting was nice, the service decent, but there was no heating, so it was a bit chilly (even though these days people are trying to save money, there's a happy medium)! Luckily, we had a drink to warm up. As for the meal, we were disappointed, mainly by the fish dish on a bed of boiled leeks, which was tasteless, and the very basic dessert, a sort of tartine. We had been here several times and had never been disappointed. What's going on to cause such changes?

12/12/2025: A truly wonderful discovery. A lovely restaurant on the banks of the Loire (it must be fantastic in the summer). We opted for the set menu of starter/main course/dessert (we have a sweet tooth!). We were treated to a delicious amuse-bouche, a gougère with black garlic. For the starter: delicious accras and a lovely terrine with pickles. For the main course: a divine, melt-in-your-mouth beef cheek with tender winter vegetables. For dessert: a sort of French toast with poached pears, a small madeleine biscuit with vanilla cream, and pear ice cream. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We were just stopping over, but we will definitely be back… Thank you for this delightful experience and thank you to the pleasant waitress and the staff.

06/12/2025: A magnificent establishment. A small menu, but more than enough, given the quality of the ingredients and the truly delicious and high-quality dishes. The presentation is tasteful and meticulous. Unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy the view of the Louet River, but we were treated to a culinary journey. Congratulations to the chef.

12/11/2025: A friendly place, beautiful decor, impeccable service, and delicious home-style cooking made fresh daily—a treat for both the taste buds and the eyes! The place is surrounded by a lovely garden that I can't wait to explore while having lunch there when the weather is nice! 😁 Stop by if you're passing by; you won't regret it, especially at such a reasonable price!

23/03/2026: A small, unpretentious restaurant serving simple, tasty food at a very reasonable price. The owner gives a warm welcome and immediately puts you in the Southwest atmosphere with his accent. I recommend it.
