24/01/2025: Very nice hotel, well located, very quiet, with a Spa.
Superior rooms and suites, varied, local and generous cuisine.
Three downsides however, the stifling heat, particularly in the rooms, forced to open the window in the evening to hope to sleep, the menus are of great quality, but sometimes with questionable sequences and too little diversity and the little empathy encountered ( to remain courteous) when asking reception on the trails passable in winter from the hotel.

€20 for 2 hours of spa.

Assiettes esthétiques et bien cuisinées. Apéritif et mise en bouche offert part la maison très savoureux.
Peu d’attente entre les plats.
Terrasse face à la piscine, cadre ravissant.

Everything from A to Z is excellent!! the welcome, the polite smile...and of course, the cuisine! everything is fine, delicious! I recommend it more than highly!
Otherwise, free parking in front, very clean restaurant!

31/08/2024: Excellent ! Quality service and refined and succulent dishes at the same time! Beautiful atmosphere with the intervention of a piano/voice (Airs group). I highly recommend the sea sauerkraut and the couscous-style lamb shank! The desserts are subtly prepared and also excellent!! Looking forward to discovering the menu even more..!!

地元でも大人気のお店。12:00少し前に到着したのですが、何人か並んでいました。皆さん、サンドイッチのテイクアウトで列を作っていたそうなので、私は店内へ。
ビックリするくらいテーブルがギューギューで、隣との隙間は5cmない！！テーブルを1回引いてから座らなければなりません。
最初は誰もいなかったから良かったのですが、両サイドに座られた時には笑うしかなかった…
パリに来たら絶対に食べたかったオニオングラタンスープとビーフタルタル。お昼からワインも。
オニオングラタンスープは大好きなエメンタールがたっぷりで、オニオンもパンもたくさん。おいしい！！
ビーフタルタルは実は初めて。サラダとフレンチフライも添えられていました。
生肉大好きなんだけど、どんな感じかな…と思ったら、とってもさっぱりめの味つけ。これは止まらない。ポテトもおいしい。やっぱりヨーロッパのポテトは味が濃いなぁ。
両隣のメニューも気になるんだけど、近すぎてチラッと見るのも難しい。
あっという間に満席で、外にも行列。店内は「座れないなら立ったままでいいよー」と立ち飲みしている方も。大人気のお店でしたよ。
12/10/2024: Resto qui sent bon la nostalgie. Personnel accueillant et dynamique. Repas copieux et de qualité. Ça fait 2 fois que je viens, une fois seul, et une fois avec Madame. Je reviendrai encore, et j’ai déjà parlé de cette belle adresse Parisienne comme on les aime à mes ami(e)s, et client(e)s.

25/08/2024: We came here for lunch having checked it out on TripAdvisor where it achieved high rankings.
The only downside in my view was that it lacked atmosphere, but I’m sure that was only because it was around 12:30 for lunch, and it seemed to be quiet in Angoulême in mid-August.
In any event, we greatly enjoyed our meal. My wife had a delicious burger, while I had an excellent steak tartare, all washed down with an excellent local white wine.
Very attentive service by our friendly waiter.
24/08/2024: Cave à manger avec une proposition de bière bienvenue ;) et des plats tout aussi adaptés pour la famille entière.
Un accueil et un service chaleureux qui nous a régalé tout autant que la justesse des plats (cuisson, sauce maison) dans un endroit tamisé.
Beau travail et belle continuation à toute l’équipe.
