03/07/2026: For the first time, I used their catering service for an evening with about thirty friends for a cold buffet. Nothing to complain about, or rather, yes, BRAVO! Everything was excellent!!! The presentation was top-notch, and what a delight for the taste buds—only fresh, homemade products. As for the quantities, there was more than enough. Having attended this type of reception before, I must say I've never had the opportunity to taste so many delicious things. A huge thank you again to the chef and his team.

02/07/2026: I don't understand the concept. It's a bar that doubles as a restaurant at lunchtime with a daily menu, but they don't display their extensive restaurant menu (making me question the freshness of the items). It's only open Friday and Saturday evenings, and becomes a pizza place on Thursday and Sunday evenings, but there's no pizza the rest of the time. The "restaurant" doesn't even know what it is... Anyway, the daily menu isn't bad, the "kid-sized" croque monsieur is a joke, the pizzas aren't good, and the service is laughable because they're completely clueless and clearly not professionals.

04/06/2026: A very pleasant evening on the terrace during the week. The staff is friendly and the service is quick but not rushed. The dishes are as advertised: generous and simply delicious. The rösti are all-you-can-eat, but finishing a second course requires a large stomach!

16/05/2026: As regular customers for many years, we are very disappointed by our last two experiences. After a tasteless fondue the previous time, tonight's service was extremely difficult. Our trainee waiter did his best, but he was completely left to his own devices. It's regrettable to see a young trainee receive so little support from his superiors. We greatly miss the previous team, which was truly excellent. We wish Enzo the best of luck with his apprenticeship; he deserves better guidance.

15/05/2026: So, crescendo Cahors, the cuisine is very sophisticated, and above all, the service is not very attentive, or even nonexistent. There are many choices available. The atmosphere is decent, you feel welcomed, but OK, there's a long wait.

19/05/2026: Three mistakes in our orders, a Caesar salad made with frisée instead of romaine lettuce, a sauce that seemed to come from a bottle and not homemade... and to top it all off, a very noisy room.

18/05/2026: We booked for 7 people on a Saturday at 12:30 pm. We were very well served and had a delicious meal at a very reasonable price! The service was impeccable, the waitresses were lovely, smiling, and attentive! A great little restaurant in Ambert! I highly recommend it!

The establishment doesn't seem very flexible regarding arrival times: if you arrive early, you may be asked to wait. The service remains professional, but a little more flexibility and attention to customers would be appreciated.

06/07/2026: Having discovered this place on M6, we had high expectations for our visit. Our first impression upon arrival was cold; the owners weren't welcoming, which dampened the overall atmosphere. Fortunately, the food was good and the rest of the team was friendly, but we felt sorry for them working in such unpleasant conditions. The terrace on the pedestrian street was lovely, and the restaurant itself was nicely decorated. It's a real shame that the owners don't reflect the quality of their establishment.

30/06/2026: What can I say except that everything was perfect, the Lyonnaise inspiration sublimely refined and brought up to date. We were taken from one surprise to the next with this inspired menu. From the amuse-bouches, we were treated to something sublime, with the little bugnes au gratin (my wife's favorite) and the magnificent pike quenelle. From foie gras to veal trotters to squab, finishing with a dessert of astonishing lightness and freshness made with peach, we experienced an extraordinary journey. The wines selected for the pairing were surprising yet perfectly complemented the dishes, and the service was impeccable, friendly, and without the stiffness of some Michelin-starred restaurants. This was my third or fourth visit to Maître Tetedoie, and I am still just as enthusiastic. I hope that next time, the second star will be there, because it is more than deserved.

29/06/2026: A wonderful experience, with impeccable service, in a location with a beautiful view. The cuisine was excellent, super tasty, executed and presented with mastery. Highlights include the amazing appetizers and the sensational cheese... The desserts were delicious, and I even received a mini birthday cake, which was also wonderful... Truly a restaurant that lives up to its Michelin star!
