06/04/2026: A wonderful experience celebrating my mother's 80th birthday. The venue was unique, and the wine tasting was excellent, led by a passionate sommelier. The food was superb. A truly memorable occasion, despite the slightly slow service at lunchtime.

28/03/2026: The museum visit was a good experience. However, I recommend being vigilant about the prices in the shop. Yesterday, I bought a 2016 Château Labastidié for €20, which seemed quite high, especially since I had paid €17 for a 2006 vintage a few weeks ago in the same shop. After checking the château's official website, the price was indeed much lower at €12.90! This is regrettable and unfortunately undermines the trust that was beginning to be built!

28/07/2026: What a wonderful discovery! It could have been a disaster, though, because as soon as we sat down at a table, the waiter informed us that they didn't accept credit cards. I replied, "No problem, I love washing up." We actually had cash on hand.... As some have said, it might seem expensive at first, but when you see the quantity and quality of the food, you understand, and it won't stop us from coming back, and this time, not just by chance. I didn't take any photos of the dishes; I'm not from that generation. However, I did keep the placemat, a beautiful faux watercolor, which I framed. Thank you so much for such a delicious and warm experience. See you soon.

05/07/2026: The waiter was very kind and helpful (we had a wasp buzzing around us on the terrace, which wasn't pleasant, and he kindly agreed to move us inside), which was very thoughtful of him! Moreover, the food was delicious! You can go there without hesitation; the savory crepes are generous and excellent. I particularly loved the raclette crepe and the Rambouillet dessert crepe! Delicious! Great place, we'll be back!

13/07/2026: The food was good. It's a shame the service was rather slow and the heat made it difficult to fully enjoy our meal. The dining room wasn't air-conditioned and there were no fans to make the air more breathable.

11/08/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience at La Cuillère en Bois. We had an aperitif, followed by a two-course meal with two glasses of wine. When my main course arrived, I mentioned that I couldn't eat the gratin because I'm allergic to eggs. I completely understand that a change isn't always possible, and I would have gladly accepted more salad on the side. However, a few minutes later, we noticed that fries were being served to several tables around us, including one with three adults. When my partner mentioned this when paying, we were told that the fries were "only for children." What particularly disappointed us wasn't the lack of fries, but the feeling of not being treated the same as the other customers. A simple offer of an alternative or a little extra salad would have been more than enough. We paid our bill without making a fuss, but we wanted to express our disappointment. For us, the welcome and attention given to customers are just as important as what's on the plate. In response to your comment, I think there is indeed a misunderstanding. My rating has absolutely nothing to do with the price of the menu, which was very reasonable, nor with the quality of the food. It was good, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed it. What disappointed me most was the way our meal was served. We didn't have a choice of vegetables, and when I noticed that there was egg in the vegetables I was served, which I'm allergic to, not only was nothing offered as a replacement, but I was simply told that there was nothing else available. Then, we noticed that all the tables around us were having fries. When we asked why, we were told that the fries were only for children, even though there were people of all ages at the other tables, except ours. We didn't make a scene while we were there. We left quietly and simply shared our experience afterward. So no, it's not the €16.90 price tag that justifies my rating, and I'm not questioning the quality of your food at all. It's the combination of these little things and, above all, the feeling of not being treated like the other customers. I just find it a shame that you summarize my review as "making a mountain out of a molehill," when I simply took the time to honestly explain our experience.

19/07/2026: Discovered by chance, but an absolute highlight. Superb quality and excellent service. Great value for money. We had lamb and duck, which was absolutely delicious. We followed it with a cramble apple for dessert – it couldn't have been better.
