31/07/2026: We tried Le P'tit Lorginois for lunch today with colleagues. The welcome was rather cold, and even though we ordered our meals in advance because we didn't have much time to eat, it didn't make a difference. €23 for the beef fillet with garlic, a bit pricey for a piece of beef with a burnt garlic clove on top... The beef tartare was prepared, overloaded with sauce (mayo?) and therefore almost liquid. The service needs improvement; nothing was offered, we had to ask for everything, even salt and mayo. €1.50 for mayonnaise...!!! A table of 11, with a bill of almost €300, we weren't there to order anything. I finally saw a smile when I swiped my card to pay. We'll leave you to yourselves and not bother you anymore ;-)

25/07/2026: There was a bit of a wait to be served as it was busy, but the meal was excellent: flank steak with shallots, spider steak with Camembert, and beef tartare. The ingredients were high quality and the portions generous. A great find!

08/08/2026: Good service and responsive waiters, but the wine and cocktails were absolutely awful; I strongly advise against going there. Not to mention the exorbitant prices for the quality served.

07/08/2026: The dishes are quite good and of good quality (although I didn't like the sauce on the duck dish). The service is quite slow, but still helpful. The crepes are very good.

22/07/2026: We take a step back in time with a visit to the Auberge du Moulin de Juré. Simple meals, but excellent ingredients, expertly prepared. Reservations are recommended as it's often full. A building that has remained unchanged for centuries, it generates its own electricity thanks to the mill, which is also used for sawing wood, pressing apple juice, and more. An extraordinary experience steeped in rural and Forez traditions.

22/05/2026: Simplicity, efficiency, and excellent food. Very friendly staff. I recommend checking it out! Note to the owner: Even though it's a traditional inn, it would be nice to serve the wine in wine glasses, rather than Duralex ones.

04/08/2026: Delicious food! Very generous and excellent portions! The setting could be much nicer if it were better maintained. But I saw a large "For Sale" sign, so perhaps that's the reason.

31/07/2026: A very good place that really deserves a visit.

16/08/2026: Yesterday was our second visit after such a great meal the first time, but yesterday was a complete disappointment. The beef soup was already laced with Maggi seasoning, our son's cream schnitzel was completely limp, the sauce tasteless, my wife's beef steak was overcooked and dry, and my roast beef was tough and full of sinew. The vegetables arrived 15 minutes later and were just a few peas; there weren't even any steak knives. The salad was also bad. We had raved to our son about how good the food was supposed to be, but yesterday was a complete disaster. People at the next table had eaten frog legs that were overcooked, and the lamb arrived on a warming plate that could have been used for another five minutes to cook steaks. The lamb was completely burnt. All three of us had stomach problems and then got diarrhea. It's a real shame how the restaurant has deteriorated so drastically in just a few months. 95% of the customers were German; why weren't there any French people? They know why.

15/08/2026: From the outside, it looks rather unassuming and like a dive bar. Inside, it's a busy restaurant, air-conditioned, with good food at incredible prices. Two beef steaks with sides and salad 500ml white wine, two bottles of mineral water for €40 That's hard to beat.

10/08/2026: Excellent restaurant! All the dishes served around me looked incredibly tempting. I opted for the burger served with new potatoes, which was very good and filling—so much so that I had to eat it all! 😂 I recommend this restaurant for its service, friendly atmosphere, and good value for money.

09/08/2026: Excellent, simple yet beautifully prepared and generous cuisine. Very reasonable prices, friendly and helpful staff. In short, it's well worth the detour.

18/07/2026: We tried the breakfast menu and it was very good, I recommend it. The scrambled eggs were very good, the bread was also good, and the coffee was just as good. I recommend this crêperie (restaurant).

15/07/2026: The savory crepes were delicious and the atmosphere was great. The only downside is that the staff only speak French, but they try their best to understand, which is really appreciated. Highly recommended.

27/07/2026: A wonderful discovery. Excellent cuisine. Impeccable service. The waitresses were very discreet and attentive. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food. We came from Lorraine (Nancy). We had a very enjoyable time. Thank you to the chef. And a very beautiful establishment with a terrace.

04/04/2026: A wonderful discovery for a birthday meal. The cuisine is refined, the dishes are beautiful and delicious, and the service is impeccable—both warm and attentive (a special shout-out to Dawn). Special mention: dogs are welcome; we went with our cocker spaniel. We had a fantastic time.

26/03/2026: A wonderful experience at the Hôtel Restaurant Le Tulipier. The bedding is of very high quality, ensuring a great night's sleep. The meals are delicious, with well-prepared dishes. The welcome is warm and the service impeccable, with an attentive and professional team. I highly recommend it!

22/05/2026: Okay, let me lay the groundwork. I'm a huge burger fan. When I say that, I mean I eat at least one every week, and having traveled quite a bit in my life, I've had the chance to try them in many different countries. And I have to say, these burgers are among the best I've ever eaten. Everything about them is perfect. Seriously, hats off to the chef.
