25/04/2026: I had a very bad experience on several occasions. During my visit, while other customers were being served at the counter, I was asked to sit on the terrace for no clear reason, and the staff became irritated when I explained that I was in a hurry. Another time, I was told that coffee was “not normally served at this time,” even though others were drinking it. I also heard negative comments about foreigners, which is very disturbing. This creates a strong sense of unequal treatment. It's all the more incomprehensible coming from someone who seems to be of immigrant origin himself. It's a shame, because I work nearby, but I won't be going back.

25/04/2026: To begin with, the welcome was what some might call "typically French," meaning rather unfriendly. It's true we hadn't booked, but a table was available on the condition that we ordered the €15 set menu. A perfectly reasonable price, certainly, but I was expecting a simple savory buckwheat crepe. Not possible! You'd think, "If you can afford more, you can afford less!" Well, not here. That's what really put us off. So, our family's opinion is based on the reception and a rather questionable policy, not on the crepes themselves, which we didn't get to try. You might have better luck than us... and perhaps receive a warmer welcome. Come on, a little effort, please! Isn't that the foundation of business?

25/04/2026: A downtown restaurant with terraces on both corners. The terrace on Rue du Chapitre is less busy and opens directly onto the historic city center. As for the menu, you can choose between the à la carte options and a set menu of starter/main course or starter/main course/dessert. We opted for the set menu of the day (starter/main course/dessert) and were pleasantly surprised by the quality, service, and atmosphere. A wonderful discovery in the city center, at a reasonable price during the week. Thank you.

04/07/2026: We had a great time! The menu is small, but every dish we ate was delicious! They have lunch menus during the week and a daily menu for €35. The wine list is excellent, and you can even order takeout at wine shop prices. The service was very friendly! And I ate the best snails of my life.

24/05/2026: My favorite restaurant for a very long time 😁, the people are super welcoming, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, especially in the evenings during the summer with the outdoor barbecue! The dishes are simple, basic, but perfect! I recommend it 100% 🥰 (especially the roasted Camembert)

23/05/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience at La Pépite last night. There were three of us, and not a single dish was up to standard. I ordered a completely tasteless meat dish, the kind you'd find at home with no effort whatsoever. My friends had a wok dish without sauce, dry and frankly awful, as well as pasta with a cold burrata. After sending it back to the kitchen, the dish came back reheated in the microwave… the burrata had exploded on the plate. The worst part? The price. We paid an arm and a leg for such mediocre quality. Clearly a restaurant to avoid. The only positive point of the evening: the view. Thankfully, it was there to somewhat redeem the experience.

22/05/2026: I've been coming to this restaurant for several years. The prices had already gone up quite a bit in recent years… my favorite goat cheese salad is no longer on the menu. I ordered the Caesar salad with crispy chicken. First of all, it wasn't healthy, and one of the main ingredients—the avocado—was black and stringy… it's impossible for the chef not to have noticed… I pointed it out to the waitress, who seemed completely indifferent. So, at €24 for a salad, that's unacceptable. Very disappointed.
