You just want to try everything, savor every last bite... And that exquisite beetroot amuse-bouche! A delight! A feast for the eyes and the taste buds... Don't hesitate, go and treat yourself!

15/04/2026: It was lovely to have lunch at the foot of the golf course, on the terrace overlooking the green. We enjoyed some good food; the children's menus were also good, though a bit pricey. The ice cream was a hit, while the gourmet coffees were rather basic. I can also confirm that we found the owner very friendly.

15/07/2026: Fantastic welcome, excellent advice. We ordered a red and a white wine at very reasonable prices, and they were delicious. They also had great ginger soft drinks with very little sugar for the children. So go there without hesitation.

01/10/2026: What a delightful surprise to stumble upon the Auberge de la Vanne, and that's no joke. We stopped by chance, and we weren't disappointed at all, quite the opposite. Delicious local produce, original dishes, and a refined yet unpretentious presentation of each course—bravo and thank you to the three people who go above and beyond for their guests. A warm and welcoming inn that's sure to grow, not to be missed.

26/09/2026: Great food and lovely service. Lights are too bright for me but if you want an authentic local French place to eat with beautiful service then come here. Food is great as is the champagne! And you can practice your French all you like! But they speak English too ☺️

17/09/2026: We made a quick stop at the free campervan area by the town hall to hike the Auvezere Gorge. On the way back, we stopped at the restaurant and what a great find! My husband had a set menu (starter, main course, dessert, and coffee) for €18, which was delicious. I had the duck confit with homemade fries—incredible! The crème brûlée was superb! Everything is high quality and homemade. I highly recommend it.

17/09/2026: Another great find that deserves a solid 4.9 (perfection is impossible). The staff is excellent: helpful, friendly, and always smiling. The food is high-quality, plentiful, and delicious. The presentation is good. It's a shame that some golfers or visitors are disrespectful, but management and staff can't do anything about it.

07/09/2026: Nestled among the vineyards of Layon, this sheepfold, which we hadn't visited in years after leaving Anjou, remains one of the finest gourmet restaurants in the Anjou region. The welcome and service were warm, precise, and efficient. The four-course menu combined sometimes surprising, but always successful, flavors. A true delight, it began with the amuse-bouches and continued with marinated sea bass, roasted langoustines, the sublime "Vegetable" (peas and lovage), the perfectly cooked fish, the succulent chicken, the strawberries with accompaniments, and the mint, which had been highly recommended—a revelation! The sparkling wines, Grolleau and Cabernet Franc, from Domaine de la Bergerie were the perfect accompaniment.

28/08/2026: A superb experience at La Table de la Bergerie. The setting is simply magnificent, perfect for a timeless moment. As for the food, the meal was excellent from start to finish, with a real focus on flavors and a beautiful presentation of the ingredients. Special mention goes to the wine pairings: the recommendations were impeccable and enhanced each dish. The service is both professional and warm. I highly recommend it!
