27/04/2026: Hearty and tasty dishes with excellent service

23/04/2026: It had been a very long time since I'd been so pleasantly surprised by a restaurant! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but believe me, the food is worth the trip. The chef is a true lover of life, and all the dishes are harmonious. We ordered starters (Bitchet, Caesar, and Landes salads) that delighted our taste buds, and our main courses (burgers: bacon/cheddar, giant for those with a big appetite, and the Relax burger) were perfect! To top it all off, they make a delicious planter's punch! In short, don't hesitate for a second if you're in the area, everything is good! For those over 18, they have some excellent rums 😊 to be enjoyed in moderation, of course!

14/08/2026: Disappointing experience! The waiter was completely uninvolved, pouring the wine next to the glass and not even apologizing! The meat was overcooked instead of rare, but the waiter assured us it was cooked perfectly! The side dish was potatoes, no vegetables at all. The wine list is exorbitantly priced, clearly aimed at a wealthy clientele! We didn't enjoy a good restaurant and won't be returning!

15/09/2025: A true sensory journey: you eat in the dark, you search for your table as if in a labyrinth, and when your plate finally arrives, you almost regret having found it. Between the lack of flavor and the lack of light, it's hard to say which is worse. It's a shame because the service was the only positive point… but it doesn't make up for the frankly bad food, and especially at €42 for the set menu without drinks, the value for money is truly disappointing. I do not recommend it.

28/06/2026: No worries, the quality and finesse of the dishes are always excellent. The dishes are superb, cooked to perfection. A nice touch: each course is paired with a suitable wine, which helps avoid any potential clashes. The bill is reasonable for this level of quality. Oh, and I almost forgot, I had no trouble finding free street parking.

The menu is consistent with international Burger King standards, offering burgers, fries, and combo meals served. The restaurant is modern and functional, though it can become crowded during lunch hours and weekends due to the busy neighborhood. Prices are higher than typical fast‑food spots outside central Paris, reflecting the excellent location.

17/07/2026: Horrible service. I ordered with pay at the counter. Waited for 20 minutes. Got swayed off with "pay there" but no one came. They made my order without calling it out. Still no one came to help me. Then after another 10 minutes she came and said "sorry. Re-do it." And had to wait another 10 minutes. Not time one wants to waste in a fast food restaurant.

24/08/2026: In my opinion, the whole thing lacks coherence. What particularly surprised me was that the daily special was offered at exactly the same price as the à la carte dishes, with no price advantage whatsoever. Another disappointment for a café-brasserie was the absence of a croque-monsieur, which I believe is a classic and expected item in this type of establishment. The menu also seemed very expensive considering what was on offer: a duck confit around €30, and wines starting at €8-9, which I find quite high for what's available. I've worked in the French art of living for 13 years and have had the opportunity to try a great many restaurants. It's with this experience that I'm primarily judging the relationship between prices, the offerings, and the establishment's positioning.

13/08/2026: A café like any other. However, they were working on the masonry of the façade, resulting in a thin layer of plaster over the foam of my café crème.

21/08/2026: From the entire Île-de-France region This is the best apple turnover A light, flaky pastry, baked on one caramelized side with just a hint of honey—enough to awaken the taste buds with the five flavors of sweet, salty, sour, bitter, and umami—highlighting the difference of homemade quality. In a beautiful interior setting, you'll find a warm and welcoming staff who take the time to explain the selection of pastries, viennoiseries, different breads, and menus offering a wide variety of dishes, desserts, and drinks. In second place, a bakery in Bandol. I've tasted over sixty apple turnovers across France.

20/08/2026: Excellent bakery and pastry shop, offering both takeaway and on-site dining. The cakes are delicious, the bread is flavorful and keeps for two days or even longer (especially the slices sold by weight). The flaky brioche is superb! The staff is friendly and plentiful, with five payment stations.

05/08/2026: Everything is exceptional at Apicius, I highly recommend it.

01/08/2026: Third time at Apicius. Good lunch, but lacking the "Wow" factor of surprise and flavor that would have earned it a fifth star. The service was very good at first but declined later on. Describing a dish isn't a memorized recitation, but rather conveying a shared pleasure to the customers.

25/07/2026: Unbeatable value for money and good quality. The only downside is a brunette waitress who constantly pressures customers to eat quickly. The dishes are served almost immediately after the aperitif, without giving us time to enjoy them. It's quite unpleasant.

21/07/2026: One might wonder why this place is always full, as it’s clearly not for the quality of food, nor service. But there isn’t great choice around, and it’s pleasant enough to be on the terrace with a cold beer and go with the flow, like one does. There are a few charming people working here - always on the run, and a few less so - still running. Come often enough and you get used to it, and they with you.

03/08/2026: Really nice cafe! We had a great time here, the drinks were very tasty, and the Pornstar Martini was amazing. Everything was great, and Tharshan was such a sweetheart. Definitely recommend this place!
