01/03/2026: We came for a birthday celebration and were delighted. The food was excellent and beautifully presented in a lovely setting, and the prices were very reasonable for what we ate. I've rarely seen so many people so enthusiastic about a restaurant around a table! The birthday person was thrilled with the attention to detail on their dessert. Highly recommended!

20/04/2026: A few days spent at this hotel with a group. Pure bliss! A very beautiful and very clean hotel, but above all, the staff is outstanding. The waiters deserve a 10 out of 10 for their hard work and kindness. The meals are excellent. And the hotel's guide, David, is a wealth of history knowledge and very friendly.

19/04/2026: The hotel is truly beautiful, with a lovely view of the hills from the room windows, a very nice stork's nest nearby, and a small view of a castle as well. My only slight complaint is that it's high time they replaced the pool loungers, which are starting to show their age, in my opinion. Otherwise, everything was perfect; it was really great.

15/04/2026: In the "everything's good in the pig" series, I ate the yellow chicken, and it was absolutely excellent. However, one thing must be said… the bread was absolutely dreadful. It was dry and of poor quality. Having not been a regular customer since my first visit, I've noticed a slight decline in the quality of the bread, which is quite important when you're eating dishes with sauce, like the famous chicken with morels. So, please take note, ladies and gentlemen of this otherwise excellent restaurant…

29/03/2026: Excellent place. We were a group of eight and had a wonderful meal. The snails were very good. The poached eggs and Époisses cheese were delicious. The young waiter was very friendly and smiling.

21/03/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We left with a big smile 😃. A warm welcome, a great atmosphere, and a delicious meal. A nice bonus: the chef and owner is a young motorcyclist. Highly recommended!

26/04/2026: Nice terrace by the harbor, that about says it all. Impersonal, nonchalant service, except for a few young waitresses. We ordered mussels, which we can't say anything bad about, hence the star rating. A martini as an aperitif, served without ice, "had to ask for it!" Reluctantly "spat" it on the table. We can say that the fries served as table decoration. After the mussels, we had to go to the restroom to wash our hands, but unfortunately, there was no soap. Not for us anymore.

26/04/2026: AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! IT IS A SCAM! Be prepared to pay 2 or 3 x what the bill should actually cost. If I could give it a negative star rating, I would. Absolutely awful. Tourist trap. We are from Australia. We were hoping for a nice, convenient breakfast. The menu states a three course breakfast for 9.50 euros. The owner acts super charming and professional. He does speak English, so don’t let him scam you into thinking otherwise. He often brings around cakes and some sort of mint tea. He said it was on the house, we didn’t want anything, but we didn’t want to appear rude to his “kind hospitality”. We accepted ONE, very small treat, smaller than a note. he charged us 10 euro for that. He brought us mint tea to our table after our meal, we did not request this as we don’t drink tea. Again, we were being polite and drank it. He also charged us for that. When we questioned him about the bill at the end, he acted like he didn’t speak English. He demanded payment in cash, as the EFTPOS machine was allegedly broken. I have now realised he is a scam artist. The reviews say very similar things. I wish I read them before. Additionally, the toilets are in horrid condition and untidy. He provided us with a croissant basket. Halfway through our meal, we had a croissant left, he took it from us and then served it to a young girl outside. How’s that for food hygiene? Do not fall for this scam artists apparent nice nature, it’s all a facade. I can’t believe he hasn’t been shut down yet. A place like this in Australia would NEVER be allowed to operate. Shameful!

23/12/2025: A wonderful family lunch break at this typical St. Guillhem establishment. A warm welcome, beautifully presented dishes, and a very friendly atmosphere. Remember to book ahead, as portions are limited.
