23/03/2026: I've only been there twice for breakfast, the €6 set menu, and I thought I'd leave a review because I find the staff particularly friendly and, above all, always smiling. Perhaps they get along well and that makes a difference, but honestly, both times were very pleasant.

The rooms are well-appointed, clean, very comfortable, and the bathroom is just the right size for us! Fantastic!! The food is prepared with love, it's generous and delicious, accompanied by a lovely wine list. The service is impeccable, and the waitresses are very professional and incredibly kind! We felt right at home, safe and secure! And your adorable little dog was so cute and knew exactly where to go for cuddles! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the pleasant stay at your hotel, which I highly recommend! I entrust you to the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus! Grace and blessings be upon you!

27/11/2025: I discovered this restaurant during a professional training course. A roadside diner-style establishment, it combines a simple and typical setting, a warm welcome, traditional cuisine, and excellent value for money. A set menu of "starter, main course, cheese, and dessert" for under 20 euros! It's fantastic. The food is simple but good quality, the bread is fresh, and the restrooms are clean. I recommend it.

10/11/2025: I was looking for a restaurant during a visit to Vouglans. I stumbled upon La Française restaurant and had a wonderful meal. From the service to the food, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend this restaurant for its authentic atmosphere and delicious, home-style cooking.

11/12/2024: A moment in complete simplicity, an attentive welcome from the teams. Unbeatable value for money. On the kitchen side, some improvements to consider regarding the “interludes” and the trout-based starter which is a little too basic. Special mentions to the dish around the capon (very well executed, delicious juice, parsnip treated with several textures..) and a dessert of Irish coffee revisited in a delicious Baileys style. 11/12/2024: A great experience spoiled by a disappointing detail We recently dined at this renowned restaurant and were generally satisfied with the quality of the dishes. The ambiance and service were also pleasant. However, an incident tarnished our evening: while tasting the capon, we discovered a piece of plastic preservation film (cellophane type) in our dish. Although this could happen, we would have expected better management of the situation. The restaurant offered us a glass of wine for €9, a gesture which seemed out of proportion to a total bill of €288 for four people. We would have appreciated a more meaningful gesture. This kind of incident leaves a bitter taste in an otherwise successful experience. In summary, it's a good restaurant, but the lack of consideration for an issue like this might deter some.

18/03/2026: Honestly, a fantastic find! We came for lunch somewhat by chance and had a really great time. The welcome was simple, warm, and totally unpretentious; we felt right at home. The food was really good! Made with fresh ingredients, you can tell immediately. It was well-prepared, generous portions, and no fuss. We all ordered different things and no one was disappointed, which is a very good sign. A bonus for the atmosphere: it's the kind of place where you can take your time without feeling rushed. :) In short, we loved it from beginning to end. We'll be back! 👍

16/02/2026: Valentine's Day Evening It could have been a lovely evening. Especially since we had booked a table for four in mid-January and confirmed directly with the owner in early February. Imagine our surprise when we arrived at the restaurant and were asked our names without a greeting, only to be told there was no table for us. There was little explanation, well, almost none, as two tables had been reserved under the same name and at the same time (understandably, they canceled one). Well, there's nothing we can do for you, go somewhere else. Now, when making a reservation, you have to give several names (perhaps the names of parents, grandparents, etc.). Thanks, neighbors.
