11/08/2026: Sospel was one of our stops on the GR52: we couldn't have chosen a better spot than the terrace of the central bar to spend a pleasant time and enjoy the friendly atmosphere created by Sadri and his team. A big thank you for this wonderful time spent together!

29/07/2026: Not being from the area, we were looking for a restaurant for a family lunch. We weren't disappointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our chosen dishes; I had the salmon and spinach puff pastry, and for a starter, the avocado with shrimp. The service was excellent, the staff welcoming, and the prices reasonable. Afterwards, we took a quick stroll to the stables to say hello to the horses. A great place.

18/07/2026: I went there tonight with my wife; we had a great meal, it was delicious, the place was very quiet and the staff were very friendly. I recommend it.

14/09/2026: As a regular customer for pastries, bread, and pizzas, I must express my dissatisfaction with your salads, which are only €8 each and are a very low-quality option. Disappointed, I won't be ordering them again. The service was warm and pleasant, however.

07/09/2026: We found this place based purely based on the star rating as we needed brunch/ lunch for a day trip and it didn’t disappoint. The food is delicious and fresh and the customer service, Ange was super friendly - especially with the kids. All the staff said hi and bye in the store and they all went above and beyond.

03/10/2026: Hello, What's going on at Le Cardinal? We usually eat there, and it wasn't great last time. Have you changed chefs? There was an insect in a poached egg, and the chicken in a salad was overcooked… Also, there was a very long wait for the second seating… We even had a gourmet coffee to finish our meal at a nearby establishment. It needs improvement, if I may say so. ☝️

23/09/2026: Restaurant, if you can even call it a restaurant, I'd call it more of a cafeteria. Having a medical condition, I asked if mashed potatoes were available instead of fries. They refused, so I ordered the steak tartare and asked them to remove the capers and ketchup. I received raw meat with an egg on top—essentially, an unprepared tartare. Avoid this place; they have absolutely no consideration for their customers.

06/08/2026: The welcome was more than up to the hotel's excellent reputation. As a motorcyclist, I was immediately offered secure parking for my bike inside the hotel. The room? A cozy haven of warmth and simplicity. I'm really looking forward to breakfast tomorrow, which looks... 🥰

17/05/2026: We spent one night at the Hotel Capricorne. The welcome was very friendly, the rooms had everything we needed, and the breakfast was very generous. A major plus is that the hotel has secure parking behind a gate within the hotel grounds. We highly recommend this establishment 👍.

29/09/2026: Everything I love is here: - Simple and consistently delicious dishes. You can even request a vegetarian option if needed. - Fast and always friendly service. - A pleasant setting near the Machines de l'Île, with plenty of shade. - Reasonable prices, too.

22/09/2026: A very good restaurant. The staff is very friendly, and the location is perfect for relaxing. The food is excellent, with a decent selection and high-quality ingredients. The only minor issues were with the service. We had to ask three times for water, one of our starters was forgotten (but this was quickly rectified in under two minutes), and there was a mistake with the sauce we ordered for one of our main courses. But frankly, these issues don't detract from the quality of the food or the friendliness of the staff.

29/09/2026: A delightful culinary surprise. Special mention for the excellent cordon bleu. The wine pairing was lovely. Impeccable welcome and prompt service. All this in a verdant setting on the terrace. Highly recommended.

13/09/2026: €6.50 for a 25cl IPA + mint water is a bit pricey. The service was friendly but not amazing; they offered an appetizer platter or asked if we were staying for dinner... Not great, which is a shame.

03/09/2026: A pleasant setting, not exceptional inside, but it's fine. The main draw is the huge terrace on the square, with both sun and shade. The prices are quite reasonable for the Presqu'île, and the menu isn't too extensive, just the way I like it. Finally, a special mention goes to the young and friendly service team, familiar but not overly so, which makes you feel right at home. A second special mention for this establishment where you're also well received if you're a dog: absolutely dog-friendly!
