01/07/2025: The olive oil square is nice, close to the old port; the tables are spaced apart. The food is very good, with rather average portions. (For example, the bottarga pasta: you'll get 5-6 slices of bottarga.) On the other hand, the service is too commercial. They treat you like an American tourist. "Try my good extra virgin olive oil" #Spanish oil, nothing more, "€10 a bottle," and at the end of the meal, "How many bottles are you buying?" "As for the bill, it's fine, let's keep it simple, round up €442, and you get €450." In short, the food is good, but the attitude is poor, which is a shame and leaves you feeling heavy ;-)

22/06/2025: On this Place aux Huiles, we find many well-known food haunts, but the real gem is here with Mediterranean specialties. Paule is in the kitchen, Kopa is at the service. We are welcomed with grilled toast with black olive tapenade. The menu gives us a taste of the local side, the sea, and a slice of Italy. I'm thinking in particular of the essential half-and-half Marseille pizza that is served to you as you go. One part is with Emmental cheese, the other with anchovies on a tomato sauce base.

11/12/2025: Excellent experience! We stopped by for lunch, the service was very quick and the staff very pleasant. We highly recommend it.

09/07/2025: I used to come here often, even before its renovation—which took away its special charm, by the way. Last time, I asked for a coffee and an empty glass with ice cubes: the idea is to pour the coffee over the ice cubes (like they do in the south of France or Spain). I felt like I was asking for a luxury product, ice cubes! The only response: "three ice cubes, no more." Okay, I'll take note...

26/01/2026: As a small brasserie owner myself, I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's lunch, where everything came together for a wonderful experience! The brasserie was packed when we arrived, and the servers kindly made us wait near the bar. The staff is fantastic—smiling, warm, and professional! The dishes and desserts were excellent, and the decor was very pleasant! A place I highly recommend, proving wrong the media that constantly criticizes us. Yes, there are still restaurateurs who do their job well! 😉

13/08/2025: Excellent welcome, pleasant service, and quality cuisine. The only downside: the loud drinking at the bar. The volume measured at over 90dB is very, very annoying. Couldn't we move them to the terrace? By the time dessert arrived, the bar had become quiet. We were able to enjoy the artisanal sorbets while chatting normally. Overall, a very good restaurant!

07/12/2025: We always have wonderful experiences dining here. Today was a delightful discovery: a family brunch at this restaurant, which we'd previously only frequented for meals on market days. As always, the quality, quantity, and warm welcome were all excellent.

11/09/2025: Cozy, with a small, very quiet outdoor space. Bar service. Access to a promenade. Only regret: in the past, the dishes came from recycling centers and were mismatched; you could buy them, it was cute.

07/09/2025: While the setting is pleasant, there are a few drawbacks: Cold welcome, average food, and, above all, sky-high prices, especially for drinks, which have to be picked up at the counter.

29/06/2025: Scam, received a good gift for a pleasure menu, I was served a trust menu, 30 euros cheaper. Service could be improved, very slow, wine ordered, not served, it had to be requested, I'm still waiting for the ice cubes. Too bad, the cuisine is fine.

27/06/2025: What a wonderful discovery! Warm welcome and attentive waitresses. From appetizers to desserts, this delicious place deserves to be shared (shh!) 07/01/2026: So, I ordered lasagne for delivery for 11 euros and they delivered a 2cm thick base to my dish, annoying!!

21/12/2025: We had a wonderful meal at L'Express restaurant with our children. The food was delicious, with children's menus, pizza, and lasagna. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a dynamic team who clearly cared about their customers' well-being. Thank you for this lovely meal. We'll be back! 🙂

21/01/2026: For tartare lovers, there are plenty of variations. It's nice. Very well prepared. However, the staff doesn't seem to know much about the dishes, and a number of regulars at the bar, drawn by the wines from prestigious estates, give the place a slightly seedy feel…

23/10/2025: A safe bet for beer, wine, and oysters? Where else can you find Eddas? I'm a little sad that they're no longer serving Guinness. But Breton beer in Brittany is a good choice anyway. A shop that you can make a stopover, and many do. They're all located outside under the marquise. The fact that the shop is right on the harbor isn't even the attraction. The fact that you can order prawns as a snack is, of course.
