06/08/2026: Food & service were excellent; our waiter explained everything in english and provided delicious pairings & suggestions; he (finally found his name in other reviewers' posts), King Arthur, was very joyful & patient with us family of four; out of four nights we went there three times for dinners/dessert; escargots, duck leg, beef rib, creme brulee, razor clams, kangaroo steak, goat cheese ice cream, every dish were wonderful; was conveniently a block from our hotel; although noisy at times, only reservation is outside smokers occasionally waft inside. Thank you King Arthur et al for the great experiences!

03/08/2026: I will not be returning to this establishment, as my experience there was very negative. During our visit, we simply made a comment to the waiter. To our great surprise, the manager came out of the kitchen to intervene directly. I personally found his remarks insulting and his attitude particularly aggressive, especially in front of the other customers. The exchange then became very tense, to the point that my friends and I felt uncomfortable. We had known this bar for several years, particularly because a DJ regularly played there. While chatting with other customers, we simply remarked that the music being played reminded us of the playlists he used to play. It was following this conversation that the situation deteriorated. In the past, we had also witnessed an altercation in front of the establishment between this DJ and the manager, during which the DJ publicly accused the manager of stealing his hard drive. I cannot comment on the veracity of these accusations, but this incident came back to me during our conversation. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this establishment. This is, of course, my personal opinion, but the manager's attitude left me with a very bad impression and does not encourage me to return.

18/05/2026: Scoop was recommended to us because we were going to Laurent Voulzy's concert ❤️ at the Barrière casino, which is right across the street. The service was efficient, impeccable, and friendly. The food was delicious and served in generous portions. They also have a room upstairs. It was just as busy before the concert as it was after. They're used to it; everything runs like clockwork. You can tell they're used to it! My only regret is not having ordered their strawberry Pavlova for dessert. We spent a little over €60: no aperitif, but we were offered a small verrine of beetroot, skate wing, and mashed potatoes, a ham and cheese crepe with fries and salad, one dessert (for me), speculoos tiramisu, a glass of white wine, a Monaco (apple brandy), and two café crèmes. We will gladly return because of its location, the dishes and prices offered, and the efficient service with a smile from beginning to end. Thank you! 👍 😉

08/08/2026: Very disappointing!! This is our third time at this restaurant, and we were always delighted. We came on Thursday evening, August 7th, and were disappointed by the value for money and the presentation of the dishes! Forget the Pavlova, a dessert at €13.50: two measly little meringues accompanied by a meager dollop of whipped cream and a few red berries! (I regret not taking the plates back.) That's how it is... Have you changed chefs? The food was less refined than on previous occasions... We don't plan to return... It's a shame, the setting is magnificent! The staff was pleasant!

01/08/2026: I invited my girlfriend over one evening, July 9, 2026, after completely forgetting her birthday, so I wanted to make up for it... 🥴 Le Petit Paris, with its friendly service, the quality of its food, and its location in a charming village, really helped me redeem myself 😜 My five-and-a-half-year-old daughter thought the duck spring rolls were excellent, by the way... And we had the chuck roast. Even though I'm not usually a big meat eater, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It just goes to show, when it's well-prepared, it goes down much better! My iron levels thank the chef.

13/07/2026: We had lunch on the terrace last week with our dog, having made a reservation for noon as requested by the establishment. The setting is undeniably the highlight: the terrace is shaded, very pleasant, and located in a superb spot, the Bay of Authie. However, the experience was marred by a surprising lack of attention to pet handling. Although the terrace is accessible from inside the restaurant, which wasn't a problem for us, the way our dog's needs were managed was very frustrating. Despite the intense heat, we were refused a bowl of water and told to get it ourselves from a bowl located at the entrance. This forced us to walk through the entire establishment with the dog, potentially disturbing the customers seated inside. It's regrettable that three out of seven tables on the terrace were occupied by customers with dogs, without any simple solution (such as providing a dog bowl outside) being offered. If dogs are allowed, the service should adapt accordingly. As for the food, the dishes were good and well-presented. However, given the reception and the lack of consideration for the well-being of our four-legged companions, we left disappointed with our experience.

05/08/2026: Perfect. The staff is very friendly, the food is simple and delicious, all in a family atmosphere. Don't hesitate to participate in the Wednesday evening tasting event. It's great fun. You get to try everything, and I can tell you that you won't be disappointed with your €35 spend. I highly recommend it.

19/08/2026: Finally, a chance to stop here at the perfect time for a meal. This roadside restaurant is one I've known for over 20 years! It's worth the detour!! Their dessert of the day, fig and lemon tart...made with figs from their own garden!!

21/06/2026: We happened to be walking down the street when a charming sign invited us to this tea room. Sitting on the terrace of this lovely house, we enjoyed a peaceful moment, as if we had left Paris behind, far from the noise and traffic. We received a warm welcome and were treated to an afternoon snack: a cookie, a chocolate fondant, and iced tea. We were very pleased with our order.

05/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience; everything is top-notch, from the food (fresh, local produce) to the service, decor, and location. The manager is attentive and takes excellent care of his customers. A restaurant that stands out from the competition, which is quite extensive in Canet-en-Roussillon.

05/08/2026: We received a warm welcome at this restaurant despite our late arrival (11 pm). There was a lovely, cozy atmosphere on the terrace with string lights and a small lamp, right across from the beach. The food and service were excellent! 👌🏽 I highly recommend it.

09/08/2026: We had a very good meal; the dishes were truly delicious, and we were very pleased with that aspect. However, we were very disappointed by the waiter's attitude. We waited at least 1 hour and 20 minutes before being able to eat, which is already a particularly long time with a young baby. The most regrettable thing is that at no point during our seating or when our order was taken were we informed that there would be approximately a 45-minute wait. There were four of us at the table, and no one else heard this information. It was only when we were paying, when we mentioned the wait, that the waiter claimed to have told us. We could have perfectly well understood a significant wait if it had been communicated to us from the outset. What we regretted most, therefore, was the lack of communication and the waiter's apparent dishonesty in acknowledging the situation. The food was excellent, but the experience was unfortunately spoiled by the wait and the waiter's attitude.

17/07/2026: A delicious tasting menu for under €50! Excellent service! Exceptional ingredients and recipes. A winning combination of flavors in an idyllic setting. I highly recommend it for a romantic evening or a team-building event. I hope to have the opportunity to return!
