17/04/2026: Possibly the best place I've eaten in France (obviously not Michelin-starred, and I lived there for a year, not in Perpignan). A very pleasant surprise. Huge portions, perfectly cooked meat. Excellent Tarte Tatin. Friendly and helpful waiter. Highly recommended.

I'll be back to try a new menu. They offer very high-quality set menus at reasonable prices, which is rare enough to be worth mentioning.

23/04/2026: We were warmly welcomed by our host with elegance and expertise. Our room was of high quality and comfortable, with the charm of a bygone era, yet so romantic. A letter written on the wall behind our bed, by a young lady courted by a gallant gentleman of the time, was a lovely turn of phrase. Rose petals adorned our bed, and we had a view of the garden. For our 36th wedding anniversary, what could have been more perfect for creating a beautiful atmosphere? Moreover, dinner was divine, accompanied by a harmonious wine. Not to mention the breakfast, with its variety of homemade cakes and local goat cheeses. In short, a stay to be highly recommended for those who appreciate quality.

11/05/2026: A beautiful place. It's a shame the terrace isn't as elegant as the interior. So we preferred to eat inside and we weren't disappointed. We had a very good meal and the service was good.

03/05/2026: I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday there and I loved the melted cheese with its quality charcuterie. The service was top-notch, thank you to the very kind, patient, and attentive waitress who took her time with the customers. Thanks also to the owner who came by several times to check that everything was alright, very attentive to customer satisfaction. Plus, the prices were very reasonable. 👍 I'll definitely be back!

24/03/2026: We arrived at 1 p.m. on a Wednesday and were greeted with an invitation to order immediately, as the kitchen closed at 1:15 p.m.! It's rather odd, these restaurateurs who complained about being shut down during the health crisis and who are now opening their kitchens from noon to 1 p.m.... Otherwise, the service was impeccable. The food and wine list are brasserie-style, without any particular pretensions, but tasty. The burger meat was excellent quality and perfectly cooked. One suggestion: the menu could be rewritten and probably fit into a more manageable format for customers. The chalkboards would also benefit from being more legible.

13/05/2026: The Café du Marché, with its tasteful décor, offers a most pleasant atmosphere. The chef's cuisine is varied, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and entirely homemade. We would also like to highlight the extensive wine list. We highly recommend this establishment.

11/05/2026: The portions were generous; the octopus was tender and delicious, but I couldn't finish it! The terrace had a lovely view, but unfortunately, it was very noisy. The prices were reasonable, and the service was quick and friendly.

27/03/2026: We arrived at 11:45 am and waited 30 minutes for the daily special and another 30 minutes for the dessert! I shudder to think what it would have been like if we'd arrived at 12:15 pm... The wait was far too long. The food was home-style, nothing special. It was very noisy, like a school cafeteria.
