08/02/2026: I had work in this area, so I looked for the nearest hotel for two nights, and this was the only one I found with many positive reviews. I was curious to try it out, and frankly, I have nothing but praise... We were very satisfied with the welcome, the quiet atmosphere, and the comfort of the very centrally located hotel. Parking is free, the hotel has a well-regarded and recommended tea room, the bed and room were very comfortable and very clean, and the Wi-Fi was very fast. The breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend it.

29/09/2025: Ideally located for exploring Châtellerault, La Gourmandine Hotel is a haven of peace. It's a beautiful place to stay, peaceful and in a unique setting. A special mention goes to the breakfast. A small drawback: a kettle in the room would be welcome, either for early morning breakfasts or evening herbal teas.

05/06/2025: I recommend the crepes, especially the special one. A crepe with apples flambéed with Armagnac and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Excellent and cheaper than in Brittany. This creperie restaurant is located in La Bastide d'Armagnac.

19/02/2026: Hello, I knew the area but not this hotel. We had a group snowshoeing trip and received a very warm welcome. The meals were excellent, the rooms had beautiful views and were very clean. 01/11/2025: A truly authentic little Parisian bistro, just like in the old days! The clientele is cheerful, as is the staff, who greet you with a smile and are always available, even when they're busy... I enjoyed a fantastic couscous! This little restaurant has a very good wine list. I'll be back as soon as I can.
