11/02/2026: Nice terras, great people in the service and the croute they have is a 9,5/10. Every wintersport we try multiple croutes a week and this is the best one that touched my tongue. Don’t be fooled by the looks, it’s the inside that counts.

03/06/2026: As a couple, we ordered the €30 set menu. Customers who arrived after us were served before us. Perhaps our menu required more preparation? The scallop starter was plentiful, but the accompanying pea cream was a very salty and bitter split pea purée. The beef fillet with port sauce was delicious and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The other dish, veal kidneys with mustard sauce, was actually pork kidneys—not the same price and much less refined. The cheese course was good. The desserts offered, the tarte tatin, were simply half-cooked apple slices in the same pan as the kidneys, no doubt, not caramelized, with no filling, just placed on a disc of puff pastry. The other dessert, a chocolate ice cream dome, was sickeningly sweet. Very disappointed.

13/04/2026: We came for lunch with a group of motorcyclists and received a wonderfully warm and friendly welcome. There were nearly 30 of us, and the entire meal was served smoothly without any waiting. We ate very well. The dishes were delicious and very generous. There was also parking available for motorcycles. Thank you so much, it was a great find!

29/06/2026: The food was great for a quick easy pizza night. The waitress was not pleased to help but was not rude. She was fine the man who runs the market and bar was nice but definitely had to use the translator. Need bug spray for mosquitos. The bakery in the morning you can only take away chocolate croissant or croissant. But if you arrive when they open they’re hot! Quick easy stop if you are walking driving distance before heading out for the day…

06/06/2026: The officers' café remains located near the military academy, opposite the academy and the Champ de Mars. It boasts a large and attractive terrace overlooking the street. In true Parisian style, the chairs face outwards. The drinks are a bit pricey. It's a standard café with a standard menu, and always very crowded.

12/05/2026: I'm quite disappointed. As a regular customer, I expected better. The whole problem stems from the same waitress: unpleasant, unprofessional, and downright rude, to the point where I don't want to come back. The wait was long, and on top of that, they couldn't even split the bill properly for a shared meal, which is basic common sense. Luckily, there's a new young waitress who keeps smiling and tries to salvage the service. I might come back when she's the only one there, because at least she's pleasant and professional.

10/05/2026: A brasserie with friendly staff. The dishes were very good. Some were classic, others original. I'm thinking in particular of "la purée du pauvre" (the poor man's mashed potatoes), which I highly recommend because it was a delicious dish: truffle mashed potatoes, a perfectly cooked egg, and pan-seared foie gras. The desserts were a slight disappointment, but it's still a good brasserie!

11/07/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! A plate of stale oysters on Oleron was a DISGRACE. The owner is incredibly aggressive, with a disastrous way of speaking. He runs over dogs and yells at customers even when the dog is underfoot. The waitresses are doing their best, but the owner is constantly shouting at them (yes, you can hear everything from the toilets), and he even yells in public! The skate was covered in vinegar, one of our plates never arrived, and the waitresses were treated like dirt, even though they were doing their best and always smiling. I gave a terrible rating for service because this restaurant doesn't deserve any attention, and we weren't served one out of our six dishes. I hope someone takes over the kitchen and buys this dump. Oh yes, I haven't told you the best part yet: "We're out of mussels!" Then the owner comes over and says, "No, we couldn't serve you, we only have two portions," and gets bogged down in pathetic explanations. And don't even get me started on the exorbitant prices for such paltry quantities! Run away! I hope we don't get sick, considering how fresh the oysters were!

08/07/2026: A very warm welcome and excellent cuisine. Fresh ingredients and the mussels were cooked to perfection. The chef was very attentive to allergies and able to offer safe dishes. Highly recommended.

22/04/2026: I discovered this restaurant today. I'm blown away! Every dish that went by looked so tempting. I ordered a divine hamburger. My friend had the andouillette sausage, tagliatelle pasta, and zucchini—a very nice plate. I highly recommend this restaurant, and be sure to make a reservation.

27/11/2025: A great place to meet up with friends during lunch break. Perfect in winter with its enclosed, heated terrace, and in the height of summer with its beautiful garden. We love it! Always a warm welcome, and the team of women is fantastic! Fast service, generous and satisfying daily specials, and a small chalkboard menu featuring quality ingredients. If you're looking for quick but high-quality food in a cozy atmosphere, this is the place. I highly recommend it. However, since it's such a great restaurant, be sure to book your table.

04/05/2026: I stopped there for a bite to eat during my trip. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and the staff were cheerful and enthusiastic. The food was tasty and high quality. It was an experience I enjoyed and would recommend.

29/03/2026: A wonderful discovery… that's been going strong for years! We're regulars and always receive such a warm welcome. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and immediately puts you at ease. The restaurant has a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere, with a small menu, but that's precisely what makes it so special: carefully selected, high-quality ingredients. As for value for money, it's absolutely unbeatable. You eat very well for a more than reasonable price. We highly recommend you come and see for yourself… you won't be disappointed! 🍴🥘 🍷❤️🤤

23/04/2026: SURPRISING AND DISAPPOINTING❗ This establishment is categorized as a "truck stop" restaurant. The quality of the main course, or other dishes, leaves much to be desired, as the concept of a "truck stop" restaurant is a limited menu of a few simple and hearty dishes, and therein lies the problem: all I got was "a fillet of pollock with wild garlic velouté" and steamed potatoes. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED TO SEE A SMALL DEEP PLATE ARRIVE IN WHICH WAS, IN ITS CENTER, A SMALL SQUARE OF WHITE FISH (FROZEN WITHOUT BULL) SURROUNDED, IN ALL, BY THREE SMALL, SLIGHTLY OVAL POTATOES, CUT IN HALF, BARELY FIVE CENTIMETERS BY THREE, THAT IS, INTO SIX HALF POTATOES, ARRANGED IN A WELL-SPACED ROSETTE COVERED WITH A THIN LAYER OF TWO MILLIMETERS OF A WILD GARLIC VELOUTÉ. If this establishment is a truck stop, it's meant for truck drivers on a diet! Quite surprising! I was left wanting more and still hungry!
