19/01/2026: 4,5/5 A nice address: used to be a michelin starred restaurant for a couple of decades, lost it but kept the service standards and the gourmet quality of its menu. We tried it with a special menu offer that included a 2014 Comte de Champagne Taittinger bottle for a very interesting price. However, I was surprised when they announced at the table that the bottle would be replaced by another brand - a 2012 CELEBRIS from maison Gosset. It was tasty, and fruity, quite delicate… but I must admit my disappointment with the switch. Firstly, the waiter greeted us with a mix of delicate amuse-bouches, of which the foie gras was my favorite! We were served virtual ravioles of scallops and oyster - very good taste, fresh, sea flavors compacted in a dish. Followed by a whole sea bass cooked in clay (from Vallauris apparently) with mashed potatoes - their signature dish, the fish was delicious, evenly cooked, mashed potatoes were nice. Dessert was good, no fancy blends or flavors. Very good cuisine for the price charged, if you’re in for a fancy meal from time to time!

16/03/2026: I highly recommend it! It's excellent 🤤🤤 We opted for a charcuterie board as an appetizer, which was very generous. Then for our main course, I ordered a succulent steak tartare, perfectly seasoned, and the fries were also very good. My husband ordered a vol-au-vent, which was also delicious! Plus, the young woman who served us was very friendly 😊!

07/03/2026: We made a last-minute decision this evening with my two children and were lucky enough to get a table. The restaurant we originally wanted to go to was closed… unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, because it allowed us to discover La Table d’Aur. A small, cozy, simple, and pleasant dining room, perfect for spending quality time with family after a day at work. We were pleasantly surprised by the food: a superb burger, a simple and effective children's menu, and for me, a very nice piece of meat, perfectly cooked. I felt something different in this restaurant, a unique but very positive atmosphere. A big thumbs up also for the service, and congratulations to the waitress who is working alongside her father in this wonderful family venture. We will gladly return ✨

25/03/2026: Came by here for a quick treat and got the ALGAE and ISPAHAN macarons. The ALGAE macaron was interesting because it had so many flavor profiles that kept your taste buds entertained with each bite. The ISPAHAN macaron had a very strong lychee flavor. Both were a sweet treat to enjoy!

22/03/2026: I was lucky enough to buy macarons from here. The prices seemed the same in all the stores. I think it's a pointless dessert, but many people are curious about it.

19/03/2026: Today I witnessed staff mistreating foreign women because they didn't order a full meal, and no one said a word. It's unacceptable and disrespectful; they didn't even apologize at the end.

19/03/2026: I witnessed a very shocking scene outside this restaurant. A group of women, who had a reservation, were treated very badly by the staff. Apparently, the problem stemmed from the fact that one person in the group didn't want to order the full meal. The situation quickly escalated: voices were raised, the staff started shouting, and they were eventually asked to leave. Whatever the restaurant's policy, nothing justifies such disrespect towards customers. This scene left me with a very bad impression.

15/02/2026: Discovered this hotel's restaurant last night for a Valentine's Day meal with my wife. The historic building is very pretty and beautifully decorated, especially the ground floor dedicated to the restaurant. There are several elegant and/or cozy spaces. The owners were very welcoming, as were the staff. The meal was enjoyable and appreciated for both its presentation and, above all, its flavors, and quite generous for a fine dining establishment. The wine list and sommelier were excellent. The chef was also very approachable, as were their wives—a true family business. Highly recommended for the restaurant; we'll see about the hotel sometime.

30/01/2026: A small restaurant that strives to work with fresh, local produce in a truly warm and traditional setting. I had two excellent appetizers and watched the main courses go by – mmm! Thank you to these courageous artisans for our great pleasure. I will return for the foie gras, which I tasted and highly recommend. (I am the son of a farmer and charcutier from the Southwest, so I know how to appreciate this type of dish.)

18/01/2026: Long waits during the week, 40 minutes for a plate of pâté and a Montbéliard salad; some people left without having dessert. A victim of their own success in terms of both the quality and price of the food, I suppose. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and the food was good quality.

22/11/2025: Fantastic brasserie! Top-notch welcome! Perfect service 👍 Typical brasserie atmosphere… Beaujolais Nouveau, daily specials, and conversations with the next table! The owner is present and genuinely cares about offering a good, homemade, and affordable meal! Nothing to complain about except one thing: remember to book!

27/02/2026: An exceptional venue with a "home away from home" feel We were looking for a venue nestled between mountains and lakes, offering turnkey services and ample accommodations, as we live far from Chambéry. Domaine des Saints-Pères ticked all these boxes. Furthermore, the five-star service, delivered without being stuffy, the warm and relaxed welcome from Emilie (the wedding coordinator), and the charming, old-world feel of the rooms, combined with the quirky and modern décor, only enhanced the experience. The venue speaks for itself, whatever the weather. Sophie (the manager) provided clear explanations of the quote, and Emilie's excellent communication made organizing our wedding simple and efficient, even with a few last-minute changes. During the wedding, the staff were incredibly attentive, offering thoughtful touches, and we even saw the same faces as during the wine tasting, which was a lovely touch! Thank you to Chef Jocelyn for his delicious cuisine, to Jimmy, Thibaud, and Antoine for the impeccable service and their smiles, and thank you for putting up with our dog during the meal. Thank you to Caroline for her discretion and availability in the evening, as well as to the other girls whose names I don't know :) The whole team was fantastic! And of course, thank you to Emilie and Sophie for orchestrating this wonderful moment. As for the view, as everyone else has said, it's incredible! This moment will forever be etched in our hearts <3
