17/05/2026: We had lunch at "Le Strasbourg" restaurant this Sunday! The decor is both charming and welcoming. The dishes are a burst of flavor, and each bite is a delightful surprise. You can tell the flavor combinations are perfectly thought out, and the presentation is equally refined. We had a dedicated and energetic waiter, and we appreciated him taking care of our table. The only downside was his colleague (probably the manager) who wasn't very welcoming… We will definitely be back to try a new menu with new flavors! Well done to the chef! 👨‍🍳

22/03/2026: We have dined at Le Strasbourg in Bitche several times, and each time every course of our meal was of exceptional quality, delighting us with the wonderful creations of the chef, who runs the hotel restaurant with his wife. The atmosphere at Le Strasbourg is sophisticated yet pleasantly relaxed and welcoming. The owner manages the service with aplomb and a good sense of humor, and for her, as for the entire staff, guest satisfaction is paramount. We hope to enjoy many more wonderful meals at Le Strasbourg.

21/04/2026: Just rooms and a simple breakfast, but in an absolutely charming, peaceful setting - simply magical! Vincent is a wonderful friendly host. The pool is perfect for cold swimming. If you want lots of extras, this isn’t your place - if you want an astonishing night sky just look up.

01/06/2026: Superb setting in this former Franche-Comté farmhouse, in the heart of the Doubs countryside. A very warm welcome. The food and service are family-run and perfectly adequate. The rooms have retained their original character. Six rooms, each with its own unique ambiance. Highly recommended!

03/07/2026: My daughter was doing a summer internship at the Hôtel de la Cité, so we wanted to spend some time as a family discovering this superb establishment and the cuisine of Chef Jérôme Ryon. What a delightful experience, thanks in particular to Thomas's excellent service and the many delicious dishes and treats we were served! We thoroughly enjoyed the all-inclusive lunch and vegetarian menus at €55. I highly recommend La Barbacane, a place steeped in history and charm.

23/06/2026: Stumbled upon this place during a recent stay with my two daughters. We wanted to go to a café for dessert / ambiance to celebrate my daughter's 14th birthday and had passed by this lively spot a few times during the week. We were welcomed with a great table, friendly service, and joyful singing staff when her dessert arrived! The food was great: crème brulée for my eldest- gluten free a plus for her and she LOVED it (she isn't usually a dessert person); and vanilla ice cream accompanied by warm fudge in a separate container to pour on top for the birthday girl. They even put candles in it and made her feel extra special, which was nice because she was a little sad to be away from home for her birthday. I also enjoyed a cocktail followed by some rosé- they had an extensive menu and it was hard to choose (plenty of NA options for the girls, which they loved as well)! Wholeheartedly recommend- a great spot away from the busyness of the city center.

The seafood starter was fresh and full of flavor, the ribeye was cooked perfectly, and the dessert was the ideal ending to a memorable lunch. Everything was beautifully presented and made with quality ingredients. Service was warm, attentive, and professional without being intrusive. A perfect place to relax and enjoy a long seaside meal. Highly recommended, human civilization occasionally gets things right.
