11/07/2026: We were served an aperitif 30 seconds after the first course and 15 minutes after the last course, seated at a table for two, in the heat. The ventilation was excessive inside, but outside it was sweltering. There was no tent in front, no parasol. Lots of advertising, but we don't recommend it. We left our wine because it was so unpleasant.

The welcome and service were impeccable, the food incredibly delicious with excellent, high-quality ingredients and beautiful presentation. 03/08/2026: A wonderful experience following the brewery tour, with Sébastien's explanations being very interesting. The tasting that followed the tour was very well conducted, with details that helped us appreciate each beer and discover their differences. The shop is very well run, and Béatrice was excellent at advising us to choose according to our preferences! Remember to book your tour, which takes place on Friday mornings! We will definitely come back to buy beer at the brewery on our next trip to the area – it's well worth the detour!

The price is very affordable and the size of food is relatively generous. It is a very popular places and we were lucky to grab a table as it was raining heavily that day.

28/04/2026: A very nice brasserie close to the train station, the products are beautifully prepared and the service is attentive!

26/04/2026: The empty restaurant surprised us, as my mother is used to seeing it packed. But we had a good meal. I personally ordered a potato crisp with egg and mushrooms as a starter (I had my two companions try it, and they also approved), followed by a pork tenderloin stuffed with onions and mustard sauce (the meat was tender and well-cooked). The only downside was the cold potatoes at the bottom of the bowl, with a few warm ones on top. For dessert, a delicious chocolate pear choux pastry was a very generous portion; I thoroughly enjoyed it. The chocolate cream, for once, wasn't too sweet, and the choux pastry dome was lightly caramelized and crispy. As for the wine, I didn't like the Saumur at all, but my mother's red Burgundy was good. The waiter was friendly.

02/03/2026: Another great time spent at Hotel Les Peupliers, excellent food! Pleasant staff. The only downside was the spa; some people in front of us weren't really following the hygiene guidelines. Coming out of the hammam, all sweaty, they went straight into the jacuzzi. What's more, one of them didn't use a towel for the sauna... but it's difficult to enforce the rules despite the written instructions. Otherwise, everything else was very good.
