31/10/2025: Well, here's a restaurant that truly embodies the spirit of France, the real France, not the trendy, hipster kind! And I love that! It's an old-fashioned bar, restaurant, and tobacconist all in one. A friendly welcome, friendly owners, and delicious, authentic food. As you can see, it's a friendly place, just like all businesses should be. The food, like the restaurant itself, is simple and good, with a daily menu and a limited selection, a guarantee of quality and fresh ingredients. I had: pâté en croûte, sausage in red wine sauce with new potatoes, a cheese plate, and a coffee. All this accompanied by a half-pint of beer and a glass of Coulanges (very good). VERDICT: I'll definitely be back. PS: There's a terrace for sunny days.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mathilde, whose professionalism, smile, and attentiveness truly made our visit memorable. The welcome and service were worthy of a true 5-star hotel, warm and impeccable from beginning to end. The setting is simply idyllic, an exceptional place nestled in nature that makes the experience even more magical. Everything is in place for an unforgettable stay. A remarkable place that we wholeheartedly recommend. We will definitely be back!

15/03/2026: We came for a weekend, very nice hikes 🌲 The welcome at the hotel was impeccable 👍🏼 Dinner in the restaurant was very good, with excellent ingredients. 🐠 🍫 A slight drawback was the breakfast, which could have focused more on local products.

27/02/2026: We had heard great things about this restaurant for a long time, and what a disappointment! The service was appalling; they forgot our aperitif, our bottle of wine, and our coffee. They spilled sauce on the table when they placed a dish down, and shrimp jus was spilled on me and my neighbor. We're only human, but all of that in one meal is just too much! As for the food itself, it was incredibly basic for the price. You can find much better, more sophisticated restaurants with impeccable service for the same price. Extremely disappointed.

17/02/2026: I used to go there regularly, and I was quite disappointed this time… I understand that prices are rising everywhere, but that's no reason to lower the quality. As for the duck breast, I practically had to search for the sauce and morels on the plate. Before, they would have a small bowl of cream and morel sauce on the plate, but it was generous and delicious. Now, both the portion size and the quality seem to have declined. The cured ham and the mixed appetizers were of lower quality than anything I've had before, and the price reflected that.

26/12/2025: We waited a very long time for the usual dishes, we didn't even wait for dessert, we refused. I don't recommend this place to visit😕

15/12/2025: This place is an abomination of the restaurant world: - Exorbitant prices for draft beers that have absolutely no taste (quite paradoxical for a place that calls itself a beer bar) - Appalling service where you get confused because you don't order quickly enough, even though the same server has only taken one order and clears away the menus beforehand - Toilets in poor condition - Food quality comparable to the worst frozen meals. If you want to have a good time, steer clear.

05/03/2026: My boyfriend and I arrived and immediately asked if there was space. A waitress (I think the owner) said, "Yes, yes, of course, come on in," and showed us to a table. Once we were settled in and deciding what to eat, she came back to us and said, word for word, "Well, actually, this table is already reserved." So we asked where we could go, and she replied, "The sun loungers and tables are taken. I'm going to ask you to leave." We were very surprised by the way it was said, so we left. We tried again an hour later and thought it might be because it was busy. Finally, we found a table, but once seated, we waited 30 minutes before someone came to take our order. The music was reggae on repeat, nothing else. And we didn't find the service polite at all. We had barely finished our crepes, we still had some in our mouths, when a waiter took our plates away. We didn't enjoy the moment.

14/02/2026: A very pleasant place, we eat there as a family every year and it's always very enjoyable, simple quality cuisine, a pleasant dining room, good quality service and a magnificent view!

05/02/2026: We went back this Thursday at lunchtime. Longtime regulars, we even knew the previous owners and were delighted to learn that the new ones had already taken over a year ago: the food is still just as good. With our drinks, we were served appetizers – a lovely touch. We chose a Welsh rarebit (a regional specialty) with delicious fries: generous and flavorful. For dessert, a vacherin ice cream sundae was a real treat. The owners are very friendly, and it's clear that the clientele is mostly regulars, a sign of a great reputation. I highly recommend this restaurant – quality, a warm welcome, and dishes that make you want to come back.

It's a true pleasure to enjoy 100% homemade cuisine made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. You can tell the chef puts his heart into it; each dish is prepared with care. From the appetizer to the main course to the dessert, everything was delicious and incredibly fresh. I highly recommend Les Amis restaurant to all lovers of good French cuisine and authentic dishes. A must-visit for an excellent meal. I can't wait to go back!
