26/06/2026: We were there yesterday, had a reservation, and were told that the kitchen was out of order due to a power outage. That can happen. We ended up just having drinks on the lovely terrace. What shouldn't happen is that they charge regular prices during happy hour, forcing guests to complain. June 26, 2026

04/07/2026: Excellent welcome, fast service. The burger was a bit dry, but the mussels with Roquefort cheese were okay. The gourmet coffee, in my opinion, was a mixed bag.

08/06/2026: First and last time at Domaine du Hirtz. Very disappointed! I wasn't expecting this: mostly faulty facilities, very average food, very average service, no staff available to answer questions, sewage smell in the first changing room.... I won't be going back.

05/06/2026: We had the immense joy of celebrating our wedding at this incredible estate. It's a magical and charming place, perfect for a secular wedding with a rustic or bohemian theme. All our guests were equally captivated; the setting is truly breathtaking. Furthermore, Julianna, who was with us throughout the weekend and beforehand, was incredibly attentive and responsive to our requests. We also enjoyed the lodges, which were exceptionally comfortable and charming, perfectly reflecting the beauty of the venue. The restaurant itself is delicious, simple yet efficient. The servers are also very pleasant. It's touching that they have an initiative to employ people with visible and invisible disabilities. In conclusion, if you're looking for a wedding venue, look no further!

Next comes the signature dish: the famous homemade calf's head, revealing all its finesse: a melting texture, a perfectly balanced sauce, and a light, silky emulsion that transforms this traditional dish into an unexpected delight, gently awakening the palate. It's impossible to resist dessert: the famous homemade Tarte Tatin, featuring exceptionally tender caramelized apples, complemented by ice cream that elevates the entire dish. Special mention goes to the generous portions, which truly honor the diner without ever sacrificing the finesse of the execution. This is cuisine worthy of a grand restaurant, combining generosity and elegance, where each plate is an invitation to gustatory bliss. Kudos to the chef and his wife: it was a rare and memorable treat!

15/03/2026: I met with the chef to create a menu with multiple choices for 17 people, and the result was flawless! The food was of exceptional quality, with expertly prepared and beautifully presented ingredients. The service was top-notch, attentive, and highly professional from start to finish. All this in a stunning setting, ideal for sharing a convivial moment with a group. And to top it all off: unbeatable value for money. A place I wholeheartedly recommend!

25/03/2026: We had lunch there on Thursday, March 12th. A small restaurant just the way we like them. The dishes are prepared with local produce. The portions are generous and everything is delicious, all at a very reasonable price. The welcome is very warm. If you want to have a good time, don't hesitate. Reservations are recommended as the place is small and popular with regulars. A truly excellent find.

The only slight drawback is the somewhat small portions, especially for those with a hearty appetite who might find it a bit meager. The menu, written on a chalkboard, changes daily. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.
