09/09/2026: I came to this establishment for dinner on a Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm on the recommendation of the owner of Château La Brosse, where I was spending the night. The restaurant owner refused me, claiming she already had a group and wouldn't take anyone else. It's outrageous to be a restaurant owner and refuse someone for that reason. There were barely 20 people on the terrace. It's appalling.

30/09/2026: Bocata was one of my favorite coffee stops in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. I had the best noisette there — beautifully made, smooth, rich, and just perfect. It became one of those little places I was genuinely happy to return to. Wonderful coffee, a lovely atmosphere, and such a memorable part of my time in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. I would absolutely come back. ☕️❤️

08/09/2026: Delicious! The food was flavorful and plentiful, reasonably priced, and the service was friendly and welcoming. We ordered the daily special (minced beef with basil and lightly spiced fried rice) and the Bahn Mi pork dumplings. What a treat! Thank you again for recommending the cookie, which lived up to our expectations! If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate, go for it!

23/09/2026: It's a very cozy place to go out and eat, it can get a little busy, but there are usually tables open. You get a nice view of the sea both on the terras and the inside. They offer a wide array of food so there is something for everyone! I think we came during quite a busy period though, as we were handed a card and forgot about it for a bit. I'm very sure the staff were just trying to keep track of everything though! So there are no hard feelings there! I would recommend this one over various other food places nearby!

21/09/2026: I was a victim today, September 18, 2026, around 4:50 p.m. I came with a very simple purpose: to buy a slice of chocolate fondant for €3.90 and eat it in peace and quiet. I had specified when placing my order that I wanted to eat my pastry there. The slice of chocolate fondant was given to me in a small package. I then asked for a glass of water. I had to repeat my request several times before receiving it. I then asked for a napkin, and then cutlery. Again, I had to insist several times. I want to emphasize that I was in no way trying to be confrontational. I simply came to enjoy my pastry and asked for the necessary items to do so properly. I then went outside with my tray to sit on the terrace and noticed that the other customers had small paper plates, unlike me. So I went inside and simply asked why the other customers had small plates and I didn't. A plate was then handed to me in a particularly unpleasant manner, practically thrown at me. I asked for something decent. I then went back to the terrace with my tray. Because of the wind, a piece of paper blew away. A waitress walked by and picked up the paper, throwing it roughly onto my tray. I asked her why she was doing that. She replied, "Don't talk to me, I didn't serve you." I then explained that I didn't understand her attitude. That's when she took my tray from my hands, carried it to the trash can, and said, "Oh, come on, you're just a c.o.n.n.." “These words were spoken directly to me. I immediately asked this person if they thought it was normal to insult me ​​like that. A second saleswoman then intervened and defended her colleague. She openly mocked me, notably saying to her colleague, while nudging her with her elbow: “Don’t worry, don’t worry.” At that moment, I found myself in a situation that I experienced as particularly humiliating, with the two saleswomen. I want to emphasize that I have never been impolite or inappropriate. I have not insulted anyone, nor have I threatened anyone. Faced with this situation, I finally decided not to continue the conversation. I simply stated that I would not remain in this situation. I wish to express my profound sense of incomprehension and indignation. I simply came to eat a cake.” I wasn't looking for a fight with anyone, and I'm not looking for one now. However, I find the way I was treated at your establishment completely unacceptable. I can perfectly understand that an interaction with a customer can sometimes be difficult, that a request can be misunderstood, or that a disagreement can arise. But in my opinion, this cannot justify a customer being treated with contempt and then insulted. More than four days after this unpleasant experience, there has been no response or reply from the manager, who must surely have read this message. It's as if this must be standard practice at this establishment!

10/10/2026: What a disappointment, what a disgrace… We came as a party of six on Saturday, September 26th. It was a disaster. The food was terrible, with flavors all over the place. The dishes were incredibly salty despite our complaints. Nothing changed after seven courses; we left, disgusted. The service was very mediocre; we had to ask for the wines. It's a disgrace to have a Michelin star. Avoid this place; there are much better options nearby. Vincent

30/09/2026: A great find in Châtelet! The restaurant is very well located and, above all, the value for money is excellent. For only €22, you get a starter, a main course, and a dessert, which is really rare in Paris. I had the raw beef with cheese as a starter and the veal as a main course: everything was delicious 😋 The portions are generous, and you leave feeling completely satisfied. The service is also pleasant. I highly recommend this place for enjoying French food at a reasonable price in the heart of Paris!
