I'm giving this restaurant one star. The prices are far too high considering the quality of the food.
I ordered a duck confit that was nothing like a real confit: the meat was dry, stuck to the bone, and completely tasteless. It was very disappointing.
The cuisine seemed outdated and made with mediocre ingredients. Based on my experience, the value for money is far from satisfactory.
I do not recommend this establishment.

26/06/2026: A wonderful discovery! Le Chasseland has a lovely outdoor area where it's a pleasure to have lunch, both in summer and winter. The food is excellent, with flavorful and generous portions. You can tell everything is prepared on-site with fresh ingredients, which really makes a difference. The welcome is warm and the service is efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant in Chassieu!

10/06/2026: We arrived late, so despite our reservation, we had to queue. Given the popularity of the broth, we had to wait quite a while, but I expected worse since there were five of us. The person who seated us was very accommodating.
The beer and cocktail menu is rather limited.
On the other hand, there's a wide variety of choices for the main dishes.
They are simple dishes, served in small portions.
The service was very pleasant, and the atmosphere was lively.
We'll be back.
10/06/2026: For the moment, I prefer Bouillon Chartier, but having not been there for a long time, I wonder if it's become as expensive as this Bouillon... I find that the quality of the dishes has deteriorated, for a higher price than before! The quantity/quality/price ratio is no longer respected.

Homemade dishes using local produce, a fantastic welcome, and a pleasant atmosphere. We don't see enough restaurants like this anymore; we need more!
16/04/2026: We had a wonderful time. This place truly lives up to its name: RESTAURANT. All the dishes are homemade. A €20 menu with this quality is well worth the trip and the loyalty card. We will gladly return.

10/05/2026: Very disappointed. The gentleman was very kind; we bought seven different desserts, and he gave us a "day-old" Paris-Brest. Unfortunately, they were all probably several days old and were dry, so we didn't even try the last cake.

However, we were approached several times to ask if we had received the card for a prize draw. This was less than pleasant while eating.
The dining room was hot.
