19/03/2026: Perfect lunch. Delicious food, lovely terrace, and the servers were very kind and attentive. The dish (beef stir-fry with fries) was really well-prepared and flavorful. I'll be back!

The dishes were delicious, with a refined flavor and spices that transported us to another world. Everything is 100% homemade. I highly recommend it. Thank you, and I look forward to it!

19/11/2025: Passing through two years ago, I thoroughly enjoyed this little restaurant for its excellent food, both in terms of quality and quantity. I returned twice and had the same experience. Imagine my surprise when I went back for lunch today: the dish was less than average, and the atmosphere was gone. What a shame.

17/02/2026: Reply to the owner below, following my initial message: I tried the couscous from a vending machine in Bretteville-sur-Odon. I bought enough for two people. Unfortunately for my husband and me, the portion dispensed was one chicken drumstick, a small merguez sausage, and a meatball about 3 cm in diameter. The amount of vegetables was also meager... I wonder what's in the single-person portions: one drumstick??? You shouldn't be very hungry, even though what we ate was good. I'm replying to add to my message: it was mainly the meat that was indivisible: one person ate the drumstick and the other the merguez, and we shared the tiny meatball in two. As I said in my initial message: what do you recommend for one person? One drumstick or one merguez? We met in front of the vending machine, and I mentioned the cutlery because we pass by it while charging our car. I didn't think I'd have to give it only one star, and I trusted it given the size of the containers. But the one containing the vegetables and meat was overflowing with broth, and certainly not meat and vegetables, for €25.90! The amount of semolina was adequate.

22/03/2026: Excellent restaurant, with a choice of à la carte or daily specials, a small but effective menu. The service is impeccable, the food is delicious, and the desserts are equally good. A pleasant surprise, especially when you can choose to eat on the indoor terrace – a real escape in the heart of Villejuif! A must-try!

03/03/2026: We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday at this restaurant. There were 17 of us, and the owner was incredibly kind and made sure everything went smoothly. He even went to pick up the birthday cake I had ordered from the bakery. I highly recommend this excellent restaurant in Villejuif. Thank you again so much, Mr. Capelli!

Ratchig's cuisine lives up to its reputation: flavorful and generous. I highly recommend everyone come and discover this restaurant; you won't be disappointed!

27/03/2026: Arrived at the location and it was closed. In fact, I bumped into another couple who traveled long distance to get to the restaurant. I would ask for the restaurant operator to publicly share that it is closed and not take any online reservations.

04/02/2026: We stopped by Au Doux Raisin recently and it appeared to be closed or under major renovation. We were really looking forward to visiting again, as we loved it when it was open, but it didn’t seem to be operating at all. If you’re planning a visit, it might be a good idea to call ahead first just to confirm whether it’s open. Hoping it comes back soon, because it was a wonderful spot when we were last there.

02/03/2026: After wandering the village and checking a few reviews we decided to stop here for lunch. It was a good choice, the gentleman who served us was friendly and helpful, bonus was he also spoke some English. The prices were ok, the meal was tasty and enjoyable. We decided on the plat de jour with a carafe of wine. We would eat here again.

08/03/2026: The tarte flambée was good, no complaints. However, the service was a complete disaster. The place is nice, but it's so crowded it feels like a cafeteria: you have to eat quickly and leave. The noise is awful, and there are far too many customers at once, to the point where you have to shout to be heard. It's not a pleasant experience, rather stressful. You don't even have time to finish your aperitif before they're already asking you what you want to eat. I go to a restaurant to have a good time, not to run errands.

23/02/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. First of all, the setting is very unique and a complete change from traditional restaurants—it's beautiful! For starters, we had a tarte flambée that was the best we'd had in ages! A traditional dish, beautifully presented and full of flavor! And to top it all off, the service was very professional and pleasant! Thank you for this lovely experience; we will definitely be back!
