18/04/2026: What a wonderful discovery this beachfront hotel was! Our rooms had ocean views, a feast for the eyes every day, and even at breakfast! The breakfasts were generous, with fresh bread, pastries, and local products! The staff were incredibly attentive, a lovely team of young, dynamic, and very friendly people! The rooms were spotless. The hotel has parking and bicycle storage. Everything is there for a pleasant stay! Thank you again for your hospitality!

We love this place for its simplicity, its authenticity, the warm welcome from everyone, the comfortable rooms, and the quality cuisine, all within a village where we feel right at home. 11/07/2025: I've lived in the Cadet Metro area for 25 years. I discovered Thym Sauvage about three years ago. Since then, whenever I don't have the courage to make lunch at home, I automatically head to Thym Sauvage. There are dozens of options in the area. But it's my taste buds that lead me to this restaurant, whether for a top-notch falafel sandwich to go, or for a delicious mezze combo with hummus/vegetable moussaka accompanied by a delicious falafel sandwich with garlic cream... yum yum. I have extensive experience with Lebanese cuisine in Paris: Al Diwan, Al Ajami, Al Dar, Noura, Le Bois le Vent, Al Mankal, Fayrouz, Al Rimal, etc. And quite honestly, after Thym Sauvage, it's always disappointing to try any other Lebanese restaurant or the classics mentioned above. Mr. David & Mrs. Rita, the owners, are warm, friendly, and adorable. Moreover, Thym Sauvage offers an atmosphere with oriental and Lebanese music that allows you to escape for the duration of a meal. Honestly, I love everything about it! And I must admit to being a bit addicted to their refined, family-style cuisine! It's very, very good!!! And for the top-notch prices!

09/07/2025: "Is your meat halal?" (The answer is yes). The welcome was pleasant, the food was good quality, and the smell of the grilled meats made you want to try them. The feta salad met expectations, and the vegetarian mezze was good. The mint, lemon, and orange blossom lemonade was not too sweet and therefore very refreshing. Special mention goes to the falafel and the fritters, which were excellent. (Yes, in the end, we didn't eat any meat, but we still recommend them given the tempting aroma.)

27/08/2026: We had a meal at the restaurant, on the lovely, quiet, and peaceful back terrace. We ordered a main course and dessert. The dishes were very good, excellent value for money. The only slight drawback was the overcooked tuna (bonito). It should have been pink in the center, otherwise it was very dry... the tagine saved the dish. The Landes salad was generous, and my mother-in-law thoroughly enjoyed it... phew! For dessert, we had nougat glacé and a salted caramel verrine... nothing to complain about. As for drinks, some prices are attractive, others less so... In short: go for it!

02/09/2026: A charming little village restaurant, somewhat hidden away in an old alley. The welcome was pleasant. The dining room was a bit noisy with the regulars. The weather was lovely, so we ate on the small terrace. The menu was very good: a generous salad, hearty pasta with a delicious sauce, and a wonderful crumble. The service was quick and friendly.

High quality indeed, and we encourage you to experience it if you're visiting the charming little town of Bretignolles-sur-Mer. Another meal at this restaurant confirmed my review from last year.

23/09/2026: The service, the cocktails, the atmosphere, and the food—everything was perfect! We had the steak, which I highly recommend; it was both generous and delicious! The cocktails were elaborate and incredibly good (especially the whisky-based ones). A fantastic time! 👍

08/08/2026: I was greeted by Aurélie with a big smile, and also by Jacqueline (Jack to her friends), a magnificent and incredibly sweet Border Collie. We spent a night in the mobile home with access to the pool, which was spotless and very refreshing in the heat. The place is beautiful and clean… I highly recommend it. We'll be back! 😉
