28/09/2026: Excellent service and the food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the tasty fish soup and the Mediterranean fish platter. As a special treat, we finished with tiramisu.

28/08/2026: The setting is calm and pleasant, the servers very kind and friendly, but we were terribly disappointed with the food. The mussels were literally cold, barely washed, half-closed, and the few that were open were overcooked. Even though our kind server offered us another pot of mussels, we didn't want to take any chances with seafood. A real shame.

28/06/2026: Hi there, While I’m usually quick to complain, I don’t always take the time to share positive feedback, so here it is, My partner and I had the most wonderful lunch at Black Bass Hôtel, and I wanted to make sure the team knows how much we appreciated it. The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely approachable. Which might sound like a given, but these days it’s increasingly rare and always worth acknowledging. Having tried several other spots in Annecy, Black Bass Hôtel sits firmly at the top. The food was excellent, Charlie’s service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was just right. Worth mentioning: after calling every 5-star hotel in Annecy (not a long list), they were the only ones still doing club sandwiches, a small thing perhaps, but that’s what I was specifically looking to eat that day 😂 A couple of details that also stood out: free parking, a refreshing contrast to the places charging up to €15 with no justification and, with temperatures hitting 37°C, the fact that they have air conditioning was very much appreciated. Thank you, Charlie, and the whole Black Bass Hôtel team! I’ll definitely be back!

18/05/2026: Located on the west side of Lake Annecy, the hotel offered rooms with excellent views of the lake and the mountains across the way, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. It was wonderful to be able to leisurely enjoy the magnificent view, which was even better than the view from the city center. When I needed to get around the city, I could take a city bus, ride a bicycle, or walk, as the buses ran quite frequently. Walking along the lakeside was particularly enjoyable as I could take in the scenery. The staff at the front desk, bar, restaurant, and fitness center were always friendly and smiling. In particular, on the last day, I had no choice but to make an unreasonable request due to transportation issues, but thanks to their willingness to help, I was able to resolve the situation successfully. I will never forget my experience at the Black Bath Hotel Annecy. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience.

02/10/2026: We decided to try one of the top-rated restaurants in Lorgues, as found on Google Maps, and chose this one hoping for a great experience. Naturally, our expectations were quite high… unfortunately, they fell short. The staff wasn't particularly welcoming or warm. Everything seemed rather impersonal, lacking genuine attention and sincerity in the welcome and service. The food was good, and the portions were decent for the price, but we didn't get the "wow" factor we were hoping for. The place is quiet, which is a plus, although we would have appreciated some soft, pleasant background music. We had also heard a lot about the beautiful view of the vineyards from the terrace. Unfortunately, that wasn't really the case. There are a few rows of vines, but not the magnificent view of a vast vineyard we had imagined. In the end, we left disappointed, as our expectations were unfortunately not met. We were hoping for a truly exceptional experience given the reviews and reputation of the restaurant.

14/09/2026: Absolutely delicious. Very attentive service; they adapted the dish to remove an ingredient, and even thought of a small candle for the birthday... The terrace, which can be enclosed, offers a view of the vineyard. Pleasant lighting.

22/09/2026: I had to wait for the museums to open, so I decided to eat at this place and what a pleasant surprise: the foie gras with peach chutney was excellent! The pork cheeks in beer sauce were exquisite, the meat tender and juicy, accompanied by a fantastic mashed potato! The meat was so tender it practically melted in my mouth! The octopus with squid ink risotto was very good! And to finish, a delicious mirabelle plum dessert!

12/09/2026: Average meal, dry ravioli that wasn't fresh, bland pizza, crème brûlée made with more milk than cream, my wife asked for her pizza to be cut and they refused, apparently they were annoyed to cut a pizza, surprising, isn't it?

30/06/2026: The atmosphere is pleasant. The restaurant is located on the background of the Loire River, trees - a beautiful view. The food is delicious. I especially liked the gazpacho soup. But the portions of food are very small

12/10/2026: Passing through Morlaix, I thoroughly enjoyed the welcome and the food at Brasserie de l'Europe. Many thanks to the charming lady who set up tables just for us for drinks, and to JP who took care of us for lunch. The establishment is comfortable, very clean, and serves good food. Bonus: it's now open on Mondays.
