15/08/2026: A truly wonderful time! The setting is lovely, with large, well-spaced tables outside in the shade. The farm-fresh products were delicious, expertly prepared and presented. The salads with goat cheese were excellent, and the meat, side dishes, fresh cheese, and superb Vacherin cheese were the perfect finishing touches! The welcome was very warm, and the waitress was lovely too! There were 11 of us, and everyone was delighted. 😀

26/09/2026: The setting is absolutely perfect, especially at the end of the day to enjoy the sunset! We received a very warm welcome and excellent service! The portions were generous and delicious. Good value for money.

20/09/2026: Disappointed that the mussels came from Spain... and the only option on the menu was mussels in a cream sauce... simple mussels marinière served in a covered pot would have given them the true flavor and kept them warm longer. The pizza was disappointing. The chocolate fondant tasted like it came from a supermarket... in short, this isn't traditional cuisine, and yet the price reflects that. So you're paying for the magnificent view from the terrace, not for a good meal. The waiter was very friendly.

26/07/2026: Our holiday residence is nearby (Parc Azur). This brasserie has become our go-to spot every time we go down to La Ciotat. We go there almost every lunchtime. It has a lovely outdoor terrace with a beautiful plane tree in the center. You almost forget about the busy intersection. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The family staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Our only regret is that they don't serve dinner. I highly recommend this brasserie, which is also only 300 meters from the beaches. You'll recognize us! We reserve table 36 and are accompanied by our dog in a stroller.

10/10/2026: The food is plentiful. The food is very good.

03/10/2026: We ordered pizzas: the dough had the texture of papier-mâché and was completely tasteless. It's not that difficult to make a good dough. The toppings were equally tasteless; I had to add salt to try and salvage the flavor. The pizza maker didn't wash his hands after his cigarette break and kept ranting and swearing at the customers. In fact, being seated near the kitchen, it was a veritable cacophony of profanity. We won't be back.

07/05/2026: I'm only talking about the restaurant here... For €19.90, you get a buffet with starter, main course, and dessert... Everything is homemade... Everything is delicious... Clean... Pleasant service... Enough said... We come here regularly

10/10/2026: Avoid this place since the change of ownership. An experience that makes you want to ask for a refund… and a painkiller. Appalling service, food quality in freefall. Cold fries, couscous that looks like it came straight from a Tipiak box, a burger topped with cucumbers and threads (an unexpected textile experience), and a Caesar salad that's Caesar in name only… Jules would have filed a complaint. In short, if you used to like the place, it's best to keep the good memories and not go back.

04/09/2026: Last night we had dinner at this charming restaurant. It wasn't our first time, and it certainly won't be our last. Everything was perfect. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls as a starter, which we shared. Then my wife had the John Dory fillet with saffron mussels, and I had the sea bream bouillabaisse. Everything was absolutely delicious. The sea bream surprised me even more because I'd had a bad experience in Cannes where I'd ordered a bouillabaisse that had greatly disappointed me. The sea bream I was served was simply perfect; just thinking about it makes me hungry, and yet I'd already eaten a rather good meal. For dessert, I chose the pistachio tiramisu, and once again, it was incredibly good. I could have had a second one if I hadn't had to be sensible, haha... it's not easy to be sensible at a restaurant like L'Horloge Gourmande. A big thank you to the chef, and a big thank you to the lady who served us so efficiently and pleasantly.

26/09/2026: This Saturday at lunchtime, we really enjoyed the concept of being able to create our own plate for a set price (€17 for four courses of our choice, the cheapest option). This allowed us to try several things at once. Since the tables were prepared in advance, the service was very quick. Plus, the food was really well cooked. It was fantastic! 👏

20/09/2026: I was there in 2025. Everything was good and it felt like family! The pizzas were good and the burgers were special. "Accompanied by fries and green salad, our burgers were homemade and régalent to the whole family."

13/08/2026: This restaurant deserves a much higher rating than 4.3. The sauerkraut was incredibly flavorful, the meat exceptional. The pork chop was fantastic, and the fat was amazing. The waitress was super friendly. Their Gewürztraminer is incredible. In short, go there!

26/04/2026: While searching for a restaurant offering vegan and gluten-free options, Google thankfully recommended this one. All the ingredients are organic, the food is absolutely delicious, the staff is very friendly and welcoming, and my personal highlight was the sugar-free brownie for dessert and the lupin coffee. Highly recommended.
