17/09/2026: This place has clearly dedicated time to its aesthetic appeal: the furniture, tableware, and presentation of the dishes are exquisite. While it might seem like a tourist trap, it definitely isn't. They demonstrate a mastery of culinary techniques and ingredient selection. The service far surpasses what we've experienced in Madrid or Barcelona. I wholeheartedly recommend it. As an added bonus, they've incorporated technology that simplifies payment and leaving reviews.

05/10/2026: We found the welcome particularly cold and unfriendly, with one of the staff members who seemed genuinely unpleasant. For a restaurant with this reputation, we expected more attention and friendliness. The food was good but not exceptional. We had high expectations coming here given the reviews and accolades, and unfortunately, the experience really fell short.

03/10/2026: Back to the future!!! Excellent, high-quality cuisine with a lot of effort put into it, but a kitschy atmosphere. The decor needs a complete overhaul: garlands, plastic flowers, wallpaper, wobbly tables, pictures held up by pom-poms, etc. The advertised menu is incomplete due to missing ingredients, and the wine list has limited selections by the glass, some of which are even sold out. For a restaurant that aspires to be fine dining, this needs a serious rethink. The prices are a bit high. A pleasant culinary experience, but I won't be returning.

26/07/2026: An excellent experience, both culinary and personal. Everything was perfect: The modern decor, The friendly, helpful, and smiling staff, Homemade and organic cuisine, A very extensive wine list, Beautifully presented dishes with touches of color. One cannot give a review without mentioning the Wagyu beef. I have never eaten meat comparable—tender, melt-in-your-mouth, and with an incredible flavor. And the other dishes were equally impressive. The only downside is that this restaurant will be closing at the end of July 2026. My advice: hurry and take advantage of the fact that it's still open to taste this meat. Looking forward to seeing Chef Junko Kawasaki at her new location.

26/07/2026: What a shame this restaurant is closing... I'd barely discovered it and now I'll have to do without. A delight, very pleasant staff. Original cuisine with breathtaking beef... I didn't want to finish my last bite, wanting to prolong the pleasure, wondering if I'd ever find such good meat again. Wishing our host a very happy retirement. Looking forward to seeing the new restaurant where the chef will be working. Hurry, book by Thursday, July 30th to experience it!

15/09/2026: The welcome was very cold; the owners behind the bar weren't particularly friendly. Luckily, the waitress did her job, but it didn't make up for the rest. It's a shame, we used to love this restaurant, but it's getting worse and worse. Whether it's making a reservation after 8 pm or lingering at the table, you get the feeling you're bothering them. Disappointing.

31/05/2026: A wonderful family lunch at Relais des Merveilles! Everyone was charmed by this authentic, warm, and characterful place. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from start to finish with a particularly successful Mother's Day menu. On the menu: a duo of asparagus with wild garlic, ballotine of chicken supreme stuffed with foie gras, homemade ravioli with a mushroom sauce (meltingly tender and absolutely delicious), a duo of cheeses from the Vésubie valley, and then a superb Pavlova with rhubarb marmalade to finish in style. Generous, flavorful, and perfectly executed cuisine, served with great kindness. All this on a magnificent sunny terrace offering a splendid view of the Vallée des Merveilles. A truly delightful and indulgent experience in an exceptional setting. An address we recommend without hesitation.

25/05/2026: Hello, it's a shame there have been so many changes since last year. We came for lunch this Sunday and were very disappointed! The service was completely disorganized, with very long waits between courses despite our requests! We ordered set menus, and the cod brandade was very average, with no fishy taste at all! I hope it's just the beginning of the season and that things will improve!
