26/09/2026: A very warm welcome in a simple and cozy restaurant. The food is excellent, the scallops were cooked to perfection, and the chestnut glaze... magical. Perhaps a little background music would have been nice. I highly recommend it 😉

02/06/2026: A very warm welcome, very pleasant service, and the food is excellent! Shaded by linden trees and parasols. Very pretty! Very clean. You can eat fera there: a lake fish caught by the last two fishermen of Annecy! And that's for sure! Their photos are on the tables... Generous portions from appetizer to dessert!!!!! And that's not something you find everywhere!! I recommend it. Booking is the safest option...

31/05/2026: A lovely family-run hotel with superb service, a very good restaurant, and a very generous breakfast at a reasonable price. We stayed there for a cycling holiday. It's very well located along the greenway and not far from many of the area's airports. 👌 If we return to the area, we've already found our hotel.

21/09/2026: The service was very friendly and attentive, but the food was overcooked (even simple burgers...) and the four desserts were completely indigestible (large, "ultra-floury"). The tables were also small and very close together (noisy).

16/09/2026: A lunch break after visiting the charming village of Pesmes. Seated on a lovely terrace by the river. Generous and delicious dishes (crispy fried bleak – you don't find that everywhere!). Friendly, smiling, and welcoming staff, from the owner to the servers. Don't hesitate to stop by this restaurant; you'll receive a warm welcome.

17/09/2026: We came to eat at Le Patio in Houlgate and had a wonderful time! 😍 There were four of us and we were all delighted: delicious, beautifully presented, and generous portions. Everyone loved it! 🤤 Excellent value for money! 😋 The welcome was truly top-notch, with a smiling, warm, and attentive team. It's so nice to be treated like that ❤️ The decor is also very pretty and creates a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. A great find in Houlgate, we'll definitely be back! 11/09/2026: Le Dauphin... What can I say? A place where the food is always excellent. The mussels are a delight. The terrace is very inviting and features a lovely little fountain. The staff are super friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I'll be back without hesitation. Thank you.

09/10/2026: Nice terrace dining area, ordered an eggplant salad to share with my wife as we had just arrived by train and couldn’t check in to our hotel yet it was late afternoon and wanted something to hold us over until dinner. Apparently this is not a thing to do in France even at the later hour as our condescending waiter let us know in no uncertain terms, “no entree?, to share? This is all you are having?” Surely given the location (near the main entrance to the city) and judging by the clientele, it is touristy, so you’d expect more tolerance. Our food wasn’t worth the awkwardness of the service which I sense was more about the amount we spent than lunch traditions.

09/10/2026: We enjoyed lunch at this restaurant, which was recommended by friends. The quality of the food was incredible, and the service was excellent. However, the prices were quite high, which I imagine reflects the restaurant's prestige and reputation.

19/10/2026: Mediocre. The restaurant was quite chilly when we arrived. One of the starters - cheese and spinach pie - was not presented so well and a little cold. The soup was much better, though lacked seasoning. The wild boar stew was very good, and my partner’s steak as well. The beans served along the mains were not good at all unfortunately. Pleasantly surprised by two shots of blueberry liqueur and 2 biscuits after dinner. Overall ok 👍

17/10/2026: We stayed 3 nights in Zonza. We dined all 3 evenings at the Auberge du Sanglier. A very warm welcome, generous and home-style local cuisine, and excellent value for money. We highly recommend it. Thank you.

21/09/2026: It was so so so delicious! The portions were perfect size. The neighbourhood was calm. People were friendly. They served food on time! I definitely recommend! Appetizer + main dish + dessert = 19.60€ Good price + good food = good mood. I’ll add the pictures.
