In short, a successful melting pot, warmly welcomed by the friendly owner, Clément. We visited several times during our stay in Saint Nicolas and will gladly return.

01/05/2026: We went to try the T-bone steak experience and it was wonderful! What a pleasure to be greeted by Alex, who's a real karate expert! A few roast ribs/T-bone steaks later, we left with full stomachs and smiles. What could be better? We'll be back!

27/06/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us on the free walking tour, and we went there in Petite France. It was a great choice. The tarte flambées were exquisite. We tried the mushroom tarte flambée, and it was incredible. We also tried a Spätzle Bouches la Reine, a typical Alsatian dish, and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend eating at this establishment. As a side note, the tourist train passes by the terrace approximately every 30 minutes.

21/06/2026: Onion soup, burrata salad, pizza, and crème brûlée are something else entirely. The problem is the internet is very weak; you need to prepare some chats.

29/05/2026: Always excellent, with a preference for rooms overlooking the courtyard. Unbeatable value for money. One suggestion (I know it's not your business model, but) => put a bottle of chilled water in the rooms upon arrival. See you soon!

27/05/2026: A constantly renewed delight, this charming residence, with its unique and beautiful rooms, is located in the heart of Old Lyon. And that's coming from someone from Saint-Étienne (no less!).

30/05/2026: A fantastic birthday evening! Cocktails, wine, rib-eye steak, champagne, and dessert (with peas 🤨) – we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to the whole team.

24/05/2026: Mixed feelings about this restaurant. Some dishes were absolutely excellent! (Leeks as a starter, pike-perch as a main course, and opera cake for dessert) perfectly seasoned and flavorful, with sophisticated tastes. Others, like the duck, were uninteresting and lacked balance. The side dishes, all kinds of purées, were in far too small portions. The pike-perch portion was also much too small! Just three or four bites, and you have to eat slowly to avoid finishing the dish in five minutes... And we're not big eaters.... The so-called "gourmet coffee," even with the small, tasty sweet treats, was anything but gourmet... It was really stingy. We left feeling unsatisfied, both literally and figuratively. The wait between courses was too long. The chilled wine by the glass couldn't wait the 30 minutes before the fish arrived. So, second glass ordered... No amuse-bouche (which can be just a bite, but the thought is appreciated) or even a few peanuts (or anything else) with the aperitif, since the "real" amuse-bouches are extra... 🙄

26/03/2026: My colleagues and I stopped by for lunch. The service was quick, and the starter and main course, while not overly generous, were of good quality. A good lunch spot for €23 including dessert.

10/07/2026: Bad Baguette Sandwich I honestly don’t understand the high Google rating for this bakery. The only saving grace of the chicken baguette sandwich was that it contained a generous amount of chicken. Unfortunately, it was served cold from a refrigerated display case, leaving the baguette soft and chewy instead of crusty. A good baguette should have a crusty crust with a soft interior. Refrigerating the sandwiches completely ruined the texture, and we didn’t realize they had been refrigerated until after purchasing and eating them. The hygiene also raised concerns. The employee initially used tongs to place the sandwich in a bag. However, when we asked to have it cut in half, she removed it with her bare hands, sliced it, handled both halves with her hands, and then immediately used the same hands to operate the cash register. Very disappointing.

24/06/2026: A quick stop yesterday at Lisa's restaurant, a very pleasant surprise. Lunch was excellent.

02/05/2026: Excellent surprise: genuinely friendly, smiling, accommodating shopkeepers, top-notch waitresses, a very good meal... In short, a place that deserves to be known and appreciated.

03/06/2026: A bit pricey for what you get on your plate. It does the job, but nothing more. The service is slow, but the poor waitress is alone and running around everywhere. In short, typical of a restaurant chain like this one.
