08/05/2026: I ordered a pint of lager (accompanied by two male friends who ordered the same thing), and the waiter came over with two pints and a half-pint for me. When I told him I'd ordered a pint, he retorted that I was a woman and that pints were apparently for men… Needless to say, I didn't get an apology, just a mocking laugh when I expressed my surprise.
02/05/2026: We had a very good meal, the open-faced sandwiches were generous and the waiters were very friendly!

06/03/2026: Our go-to spot!! We stumbled upon Stem on the first day of our stay for lunch, and ended up eating there almost every day of the week!!
The food is delicious, the service is impeccable, and the terrace is perfectly situated at the foot of the ski slope, allowing us to stay in the sun while the children played in the snow or went sledding down the slope!
I highly recommend this place!

20/04/2026: Very disappointed. Far too expensive for what it was. The scallops were undercooked, there was practically no sauce on the plate, the mashed potatoes were lukewarm and unseasoned, the risotto was dry and not creamy, clearly two days old and also unseasoned. The dessert descriptions sound tempting, but everything is mass-produced and simply assembled. The staff were already eager for us to leave when we arrived; they rushed through the courses far too quickly, and there was shouting in the kitchen when we got there. We won't be going back.

The food wasn't bad and the portions were quite generous, but it lacked flavor!
The salad was swimming in a completely bland dressing. The ravioli were tasteless, but thankfully they came with a mushroom sauce.
My husband ordered calf's head. There were lots of vegetables and very little head, and the gribiche sauce was gribiche in name only! Too expensive for what we ate.
We should have ordered the set menu; at least we would have gotten our money's worth.

Breakfast was delicious, with three kinds of fresh bread and good cheese.

A great place to eat!
The portions are generous, the cuisine is flavorful and delicious. You can tell they've made a real effort to offer simple yet effective food.
The service is pleasant, with welcoming and attentive staff.
As for the hotel, the building and decor have retained a very 1980s style, which gives it a certain charm… but it clearly deserves a renovation to reach its full potential. That said, the bedding is comfortable and the cleanliness is excellent, which is essential.
Special mention for the prices, which are truly unbeatable considering the quality of the service.
A highly recommended place for its excellent value!

We left delighted. The delicious chocolate and homemade Breton pastries were divine.
Perfect for a little treat.
31/12/2025: Excellent welcome. Even when all the tables were taken, the owners took our mobile number and didn't hesitate to call us back to let us know a table became available. Furthermore, the coffees and teas were delicious, as were the cakes, all in a cozy atmosphere! We had a wonderful time in this friendly place. Congratulations to the whole team!!! :)

The owners are incredibly dishonest and completely intolerant of criticism. Go elsewhere; you'll easily find better places.

17/05/2026: We organized a friend's birthday party there. The platters and tapas were delicious, the service was perfect, the atmosphere pleasant, and the place welcoming.
We were informed over the phone that it was €25 per person for the evening, including the platters, tapas, etc. There were 10 of us, and we also ordered bottles of wine.
When it came time to pay, we were told it was €25 (for the platters and appetizers) plus €25 for the private use of the venue. This information wasn't provided over the phone, nor was the cost of the private use explained. We were disappointed by this. After speaking with the person there, she contacted her manager, who agreed to charge us only €25 for the platters, tapas, etc. We strongly regret not having received this clear information over the phone or on the website, as it's not mentioned anywhere! Despite a pleasant evening and a delicious pre-dinner drink, we will not return there; deceptive business practices are not one of our values.

To start with the positives: a very pleasant place, quality products and service.
Now for the negatives, beware! My friend, who was celebrating her birthday, booked the mezzanine on the first floor. The bar owner told her the price would be €25 per person, including tapas (this is a set menu, as indicated on the website, for groups of €25 per person). But when it came time to pay, the waiter told us the price per person would be at least €70 because there was an additional €50 private booking fee per person. This is never mentioned on the website, and the owner never spoke to my friend about it on the phone! So be wary of this bar, which will try to add €50 per person at the end for groups, without having discussed it beforehand or mentioned it online! Go there for a drink, but not to book the entire place for a private event!
